I am thanking the Lord that I have found this tutorial again. I came across this in November and I made it for a friend in a wide shawl. I loved it so much I promised myself I would make it again for me. I have spent hours all evening looking for this again I am so grateful to have found it. It comes out beautiful and your instruction is so easy to watch and easy to follow thank you thank you thank you
Thank you for sharing. You are such a great teacher (technically you are teaching). The way you are showing and explaining very nice and clear and you didn't do it too fast. Very easy to follow!
hey, wonderful you!! Love your channel! So many wonderful projects and inspirations, and so easy to follow! I never, ever fail following your tutorials....Love & Happy Holiday-wishes from Sweden!!
Thank you for the free pattern. I completed two them for a dear friend using Red Heart Soft. They are beautiful. Thank you for the video; it was extremely helpful!!
I have watched two of your tutorials today and they are so beautiful and clear that I just can't wait to have a go at them. If only I had suitable yarn to start right away... Well, it'll have to wait till the morning so I can rush to the store and get some :-) Amazing work, thanks a lot. You make it look so easy. Please keep them coming. I've always been more of a knitter myself, but I think that if I keep watching your channel you'll turn me into a crochet person! All the best from Athens (Greece, not GA)
Absolutely great tutorial! Easy to follow and what a nice pattern. Halfway through it and I love it more and more as it grows. Thank you so much for easy explanations ! Regards from Ontario, Canada
I loved making this cowl. the cowl recieved great reviews from my friends. Many are asking that I crochet a cowl for them too. lol! I can't keep up with the "orders". I've directed everyone to this clip. Thanks for sharing.
I made this in several colors now and will make a few more and one as a birthday present for the end of the month. I like it so much and the yarn I'm using, it's Gründl Filo Blu Palma and at first I didn't think it would work with this yarn, but because my puff stitches never really look nice, this yarn is perfect because it adds extra texture and makes every puff stitch look a bit different anyway. And I added some "extras", my edges didn't look very neat, I think in part that's how I crochet and the rest is from the yarn, so I worked one round of single crochets all around and then, because it was hard to stop, lol, and I still had yarn left, I worked picots with single crochet, 3 chains, single crochet in the first chain, skip one single crochet from previous row, etc on 3 sides, not on the long side that goes around the neck. I needed almost exactly 100 g of yarn and I bought them for 1 Euro per 50 g. And then I added a few beads on this corner that is "hanging" down. Now it looks like something that I bought somewhere for 99.99, haha. Thank you for your videos, and this one in particular, it was a lot of fun making it and I can't wait to make a few more.
Hi Jennifer, I’m a subscriber and enjoy watching your tutorials. Today I found this beautiful project and love the stitch 🌷🌷.making a scarf with this stitch and is looking beautiful!!! Thank you, thank you😊
Found a solution to the problem of puff stitches getting hung up. use Susan BAtes Plastic Crochet hooks, they slide right thru the puffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so excited to find this
Wow! Thank you. I just did a row and gave up because of uneven puffs, especially in the back of each puff. I don’t like Susan Bates hooks but will get one for this.
Love this. Very easy to follow. One question though, you said in the beginning of the video, to make it wider, you just add 2 plus 4. I don't understand what that means. Can you explain?
Sure! That is the multiple of the starting chain. To change the width, just ad 2+2+2+2+2 and so forth until you get the width you want, then add 4 more chains to the end of it. I hope that helps!
Jennifer, have you done a cowl with weaved crochet loops and strands? I saw a picture of a weaved neck cowl advertising Isaac Mizrahi's yarn and would love to see how that is done! Do you have any tutorials on a weaved project? Thank you!
Thanks for the awesome pattern, really enjoying it. Just had a question, when I made this for some reason the rows got slightly slanted, so when I finished I had a diamond instead of a square. I am playing with puff stitches again now for an infinity scarf and the same thing is happening! Any idea why?
I'm having issues with one side being wonkey. I've seen in the comments that others have had this issue as well. Any suggestions ? I've frogged this project 3 different times. I really want it to work but I am also getting super frustrated. 😑
Having problems working in top of chain 3 at the end of the dc, ch 1row. Edges are coming out uneven. I have also ripped this out numerous times and tried different amount of chains. Any suggestions?
I ran out of yarn and had to change to a different one. Since changing the yarn the width has gotten increasingly narrow 😭 what did I do? Is it the yarn or me????? *devastated*
I've tried to attempt this cowl 3 times now. I don't consider myself much of an expert but I do crochet a lot. I can't seem to get even sides, even though my stitch count remains the same. The sides end up looking uneven and almost like a lace edge. Anyone have suggestions on what I could be doing wrong??
+elena mistretta Maybe try making the turning chain to start the double crochet rows 4 chains (3 to act as the first dc, and 1 for the chain between stitches), instead of 3. Maybe the too-short turning chain is making that side of the work tighter than the other.
Hi Jennifer, I love this cowl. I have a question though, what would cause my cowl to come out crooked. it starts off straight for the first 5 rows, then it starts going wonky as I go higher. I wish I could post a picture to show you what I mean. It's frustrating me that I can't get it to go up straight :( Any help would be much appreciated ....
Hi Mary. You can actually turn on the cc captions. When the video is playing tap on it you’ll see 3 dots in a row like and “l” tap on that and select cc, it gives you the option of turning it on in English. I just tried it and it works.
So simple and elegant! Thank you for the beautiful scarf pattern!❤

I love this video. Can we make for 10 to 11-year-old girl. How many chains do I have to take and how many lines make for a 10-year girl?
Love your York, thankyou.
Very pretty❤ pattern.
Very Beautiful, just wondering do you think the Simply Caron Soft yarn will work & look just as pretty?
+Grace .Moran I think that would be a great choice!! :)

This is beautiful 😍 would this pattern work with sport weight yarn?
I like to make a scarf. May I know what is the multiple count please? Thank you 🙏 😊
Thank you very pretty 😍
How many rows did you do? I am making this now and would like to have a general idea on when to stop. Thank you, this is a fun pattern.
great tutorial!
beautiful
Would this work with a starting chain of 62, or 72? I want to make this but I want it wider. It is Soo beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
DaneeG76 She said use multiples of 4
Hi...can I use a different kind of yarn like a super chunky or bulky yarn? If yes which hook should I use
Hi.. Do you wash and block it afterwards? ❤
Okay question I want to use this pattern and do a infinity scarf.. How many chains for that?
Jennifer, have you done a cowl with weaved crochet loops and strands? I saw a picture of a weaved neck cowl advertising Isaac Mizrahi's yarn and would love to see how that is done! Do you have any tutorials on a weaved project? Thank you!
Nice!

I had the same problem
How many rows did dyou do in total? I'm using a huge yarn ball and need an idea.
I'm having issues with one side being wonkey. I've seen in the comments that others have had this issue as well. Any suggestions ? I've frogged this project 3 different times. I really want it to work but I am also getting super frustrated. 😑
❤️❤️❤️thank you💝
Can I use chunky yarn to make this?
hermoso!!!
Having problems working in top of chain 3 at the end of the dc, ch 1row.
Edges are coming out uneven. I have also ripped this out numerous times
and tried different amount of chains. Any suggestions?
Janice Brown I am having the same issue.
Is this the same pattern as the cilantro cowl?
What does it mean 2+4? I’m a beginner? Thanks for your reply.
Never mind. I found your earlier reply to this question. Thanks.
Sorry, how long does it take normally?
Can you use a 5 mm hook?
Where can I buy this brand of yarn?
I ran out of yarn and had to change to a different one. Since changing the yarn the width has gotten increasingly narrow 😭 what did I do? Is it the yarn or me????? *devastated*

I too am having the same issue, were you able to figure it out?
I wasn't 😔 I ended up having to find a different pattern. I wish you luck if you try to figure it out!

Maybe you skipped a few stitches at the end of each row. Took me a while to figure this out. Always make sure you're going into that very last stitch
I use stitch markets at my ends so i don't lose them
Why can you have cc. I’m hard of hearing love your pattern.🌈♥️
Hi Mary. You can actually turn on the cc captions. When the video is playing tap on it you’ll see 3 dots in a row like and “l” tap on that and select cc, it gives you the option of turning it on in English. I just tried it and it works.
