I did forget to say in the video; thanks for 8k subscribers. Also, apparently it's SSDI, not SSI. Huh.
The bluetooth thing, I forgot to add, with full volume it actually turns down the outside volume like 90%, whenever I have audio on my phone.
If I never wore cochlear implants, I would never have the voice the way it is now. I became completely deaf at like around 13 ish.

I recently got deaf because of a lightning strike while I was sitting outside with my earphones on. I got struck by a lightning. I couldn't listen to anything feeble. I had to sit on the front desk during class because I couldn't hear anything. I really understand how you feel bro ❤

Not bad as mine, I actually having psychology issues for 8 years. I always seening nightmares while sleeping, and also seening illusions when everyone are sleeping in night. I sometimes cant sleep. And also i almost kill someone in school because of my psychology and i kicked out from school forever. And also people in school were actually make fun of me because of my psychology (become worser) the reason is i were making no sense movement and i didnt noticed that. Exactly doctors said me i am schizophrenic LOL

it seems that you pronounce individual sounds well, it's just putting them together that's the hard part? am a langauge nerd and the thing i find most interesting about linguistics is how sounds are formed, so it's rly interesting to hear your voice. i actually quite like the sound of it :D

@@breezetix no i mean that you seem to pronounce individual sounds well, but putting them into an entire word is a struggle. for example, if you're saying "hello," you pronounce each sound (H, E, LL, O) fine, but when you put them together to make the word, it kinda blends together and sounds off, yk?

My parents still use a little bit of asl with me sometimes, but mostly letters if idk wtf words they're talking about like some words im not familiar with

@noahk I forgot to talk about this a bit in the video; I can hear pretty well and can easily hear whispers from like 20ft or further, just saying, but it depends honestly. If someone's talking fast like xqc, or the tone, accent, etc. It can be hard to understand. But people like penguinz0 I can understand him somewhat well. There's just a lot of words that I need to work on practicing, and that I'm not used to listening to that much.
I don't know you that well but I'm proud of you, the way you handled this was great, funny as well

I already knew. I saw someone who was deaf too and sounded the same. Kinda sad. Does the device need charge because if it does u will still be deaf most time of the day
its a rechargeable battery, i have two, they last usually about 40 hrs or so total, I guess depending on the noise throughout the day. (of course i take it off to go to bed, so yeah)
