I used to farm stage 5 before nerf and always did the tourny for it( really good rewards always ) now i do stage 12 after the nerf it took me 1500 energy to max out the tourney rewards and its worth it
Damn. Farming stage 25 here and it took me nearly 2k energy
Same here I didn't even use godseeker or a reviver just put in my top DPS and kymar
Godseeker strats need a lot of turns, but it is nice to here that you can max out rewards with the same amount or even less than Godseeker. I roughly get 2 points per energy with Godseeker Ninja so I need 1.8k energy.
Similar here. I generally check which stage I am able to complete in very few turns, and farm that. Sand Devil stage 4 takes me 7 turns. Cost is 20 energy, the reward 32, so total cost is around 1600.
That tactic works for most if not all turn attack tournaments.
Hmm might reconsider investing some gems into it, since I can clear with a DPS team quicker, but I'm not sure it's quick enough. Need to do some calcs
On a new account the point total for event prizes are insanely low. My f2p started just before the last pool event, and they gave prism shards from artifact enhancement and dungeon divers. Both for only 1000 points. For about 500 energy in DD and 2.5mil-ish silver, my five day old account pulled Geomancer and Alure.
i pulled my prism from Sand Devil and got the new faction lego Ogryn guy. Have no idea where to use him though

Kudos for appreciating that there are different approaches and values for players at different stages of the game. Many CCs, nearly all of whom are end game players, seem to ignore the differences in value for things during progression compared to where they are in the game.
This end game only perspective comes up a lot when CCs talk about Sintranos and what the goal of it should be...specifically complaining about the fact that there is content in the game they cannot complete.
Ever since the introduction of Cursed City I approach the game differently now. Since the rewards there are better than most other content in the game, I now focus on getting champions and investing in those that can help me clear those stages regardless of whether they're Rare, Epic, Legendary, or Mythical.
That's a good point. I basically run on the thought that I will never pull a Mythical. Epics are the easiest books to get for me, so even though I have some really good Lego champs, I can't always book them so I tend to focus on leveling top tier Epic champs.
As an endgame FTP player, I think an important point to consider when summoning for fusions vs summoning outside fusions is the guaranteed.
1. Guaranteed champion. You know who you’re getting and if you randomly pull them during another fusion you have a faction guardian making the champ you got and knew you were getting better (as well as every other champ)
2. Rewards: if you pull on a x2 or guaranteed legendary not during a fusion, you likely won’t have the same number of books for the champ(s) you just pulled.
3. If pulling on a x2 causes you to miss a fusion that might be worth having for 2 legendaries that aren’t, you’re losing out potentially on the resources to get the champ to a higher level, gems for masteries and ascension etc.
Some of the early Prism crystal events were impossible to get them for free, but the last one had many up for grabs. I also got a Trunda from the last one.

Hi Nubs, considering the sand devil, I always finish in the top 3 with just farming stage 5 since before the nuff.
Thumbs up for Plarium giving more oppertunities to the players on gathering prism shards via events
if only they would let me use the shard when I decide to use it instead of forcing me to open on the current event each time
Would be good to know some "fast" Sand Devil teams without OP champs like Gnut which i dont have on any account. I can find some solo or team combos but the sand devil event wants that i do it fast for the points.
personally, I'm mid-late game, but I have a back log of great leggos that i still need to build, so in this case, i agree that the mythical book and eternal ss would be better for my account.
I pulled a Geo and Fahrakin in the last prism pool, I couldn't believe it when I saw Geo pop out of the shard, and still a newer player on day 150 :)
I agree on the prism shards. I can usually grind out 1 of them, sometimes 2. I've pulled 2 gnishaks and a Teodor from prisms along with some quality epics, including a mikage fusion epic. While they are not "free", they are achievable pulls from often doing something you were going to do anyway.
I'm endgame f2p. I do 2.5 billion hydra points, have beat amius on hard etc. But I can only do sand devil 21. Unfortunately no goodseeker 😅
last double legendary event I got trunda and duchess as 1+1 - I will pull for those events again. not doing the fusion I just ignore this summon rush and keep on saving shards.

I pulled 1 single one i got from the artifact event during the last one before this event and got my first candraphon. the first free summon when they introduced them got me my first hurndig. Its just another source to get legendarys i like it.
Ive done the sand devils for a while pre nerf, and did stage 12 pretty consistently, Post the nerf i have a team i built that does 21 in 15 turns.
Gnut, kimar, fyna, adelyn, husk, if the sleep fails the team fails but id say the prisms paid off earning them.
I pulled mostly epics but i got Fyna, and lady quillen who finsihed out my Mikage fusion.
Was doing stage 12 with artak in regeneration gear. Soon as I got godseeker could do stage 25 with fahrakin the fat as the second champ. Takes about 5 mins to complete but the rewards are worth it
Was already clearing sand devil 25 with ninja/aniri. The nerf doesnt save much time, so I might mess around with a speed team but dont know if its worth the effort
I’ve always loved the prism shards. Primarily because I’m terrible at saving my shards and it’s basically a worry free summon because you can’t save them up.
max isstage 15 i manage to get prism shard by doing 2xstage 10 i was getting around 42 poitns per battle pretty easy if have some energy to spare i got urogrim from the oull
Pre nerf, I was doing stage 5 with Rathalos solo (lifesteal gear, newer account), now I can do Stage 9 with the same set up, Rathalos and 4 food Champs. Got several Legendaries, including Falmund from prism events, completely f2p.
I got that high elf faction unity lady from a prism shard
I was doing SD on a 1.5 months old acc I was farming stage 5 with Rath for 1.4 points / energy spent. You are basically getting a equivilent of a sacred + all tournament reward (valuable F2P) soulstones for 1700 energy. Super worth investment. Later on with Godseeker its even more worth

I'm holding shards. Picking up easy frags along the way from other events for some maud chests. Chillin! SD nerf for me sped my Aniri team up by about 20 turns on SD25, so now I can farm it in 69 turns with Gnut :)
hephraak, orthorion, korugar and the faction ogre from about ten total pulls in the last few months, by far my favorite shards considering I never got more than a epic from every of my void and sacred pulls
Costs around 2k energy give or take a few hundred to finish sand devil tournament
Before the nerf I was farming stage 16 ... post nerf I'm able to clear 25 so I completed the sand devil event trying to earn some chaos dust .... got my prisms and pulled right away assuming I'd not get anything good ... shocked when I got Vizug the Noxious!!
i can do up to like stage 10-11 with a Nyresan faction locked account while having like mid game Artifacts, it is much better after the nerf, i also get like 30 tournaments points per 20 energy so the events are really worth imo
A F2P / occasional low spend player take on Sand Devil turn attack: On stage 18 before nerf, I got 1,5 points per energy and currently after nerf on 25lvl I get 2 points per energy towards the tournament. It's pretty affordable given you're not doing a fusion at the same time. You can do it with your daily energy pretty much.

My ftp/past fusion friendly(ish) 95%+ 22sec SD24 team runs gnut, kymar, lydia, ankora with any max%hp damage dealer, even a rare or epic would do.
The trick is to put gnut as the lead and to have ankora in 6 piece stoneskin just at moderate speed, so stoneskin can protect her from the boss' nuke, then he revives gnut with the 3rd bash ready to finish off things.
I did some double-dipping with the Training, using Godseeker, Gnut & food, so there is a small Fusion benefit.
Unfortunately, pulled Galkut, but it did let me empower something slightly better.
Now, if only I could get my first Lego from these shards. 0/15 or so at the moment
the nerfs helped me very much + the geo i pulled from the last prism event i can now do stage 9, ut i do 7 because its the fastest and i got urogrim, is he good
Currently, I manage to clear upto stage 24 of SD, I'm on stage 25 now, I'll probably have to look up those Godseeker Gnut dou so I can farm it too, but without Godseeker, I only manage to get to stage 15 with Ankora, Oella and Gnut... Stage 16 and above just deals too much damage, it's unbelievable how much it scales from 15 to 16
I love prism shards. I got Gregor, Geomancer and Ignatius over the last few events.
I did Sand Devil lvl 7 (best possible for me before nerf) and got Fyna. I love this event as a FTP
This is a good point. I am very low spend and in the early game and I love the prism shard events. I got Dune Lord Greggor from one awhile back. I did Sand Devil with a very normal FTP team at stage 13 and I only had to spend about 1800 energy for a free sacred shard... I love these events and think CC's have this wrong. They are great ftp events (except for the dungeon divers) but the sand devil is very manageable for low level account with the nerfs and I just farm stage 13.
Sand Devil I never bothered going past 13 before as I had bigger fish to fry, now I got an easy 25 farm by just replacing 2 bits of armor on godseeker so a win for me.
With Chaagur and Dutches, I am stuck at Stage 12 probably because I still building Chaagur. His sleep isn't being consistently applied. I think if I get him booked, he will be more consistent.
On sand devil I was stuck on 16 and now I do 25 with over 90% winrate. Now I got crit damage ascension on some gauntlets and speed ascension on some boots.
is it ok if i go for the +4 epic this time , instead of the mediocre legendary, which is, who knows when will i decide to upgrade her.
I used to do a fairly FTP friendly team on SD just doing a super fast team on stage 10. It took a fair chunk of energy but got the job done. I say fairly ftp as you'd have had to do the Gnut fusion or got lucky. I didn't really push Sand Devil past stage 12 until the nerf. I threw a team of plebs together and have pushed on to 20 now. Hoping to get to 25 and build a proper team.
The good point was I had 000's of small pots when I needed to ascend anything to 1.
Got Ma'Shalled last prism event and this time got BLizaar. I like these events without spending
I'm working on sand devil now as F2P. With that new login champ + 2 Gnuts as a key part of it. I've been missing out on too many rewards from SD tourneys. It's time to get it done. Stage 25 here we come.
I did Fatalis blade master deck of fate entirely with dungeon divers, still have a surplus of silver from that insane grind
I just pulled mine from sand devil and got the faction champ not sure where I’d use him though but my second ever Lego from prisms 😂
f2p (late game), i did the blizaar fusion + soul which unlocked 25 for me, but obviously high turn count. Used to try for prism crystals, but now I don't go out of my way for them, and only get them when it's an easy snag. More often than not they fall during other more important events, and I don't want to waste my gems on so much extra energy for (so far) no legendary pulls
I have played for 4months newbie player, and I always buy a pack to boost my roster gotten Geomancer, Fenax, Maneater, barb unity dude and the bunny leggo +++ it also helps with faction guardians, easy to get doubles..
I know CCs really do believe SD is a late game thing, but even fairly early players can at least get to Stage 5 (probably 7 or 8 now, with the nerf) with relatively easily obtainable champs. A level or two of ascension to a good artifact is a huge motivation (and don’t forget that ascending gear is often a Quest). With the much lower point requirements for an earlier account getting those Prisms is very achievable. The pool Epics are often extremely high quality, and super valuable for F2P/low spend accounts, at any level. When you’re only pulling one or two the lack of a mercy system isn’t particularly an issue.
I went from not being able to farm stage 25 sanddevil to speed farming it in about 20 seconds. I have double Gnut, before it wasn’t enough without a Kymar but now I don’t need a full reset. Both Gnuts pop off the boss one shot everyone except SS GodSeeker and she revives a Gnut.
Tbh im lvl 87 and all I can do for Sand Devil is some weird cheese team I made that idk how it works but it does only on stage 8 of SD
On my alt account I do the sd tournament on level 3 or 4, takes a few runs but super easy
I can do up to stage 10 sand devil now after nerfs, I was doing 6-8 before nerfs

One more point: the more you summon the greater chance you can specific epics you want to empower.
I'm not FTP but I like the prism pools too, because you're getting epics for faction guardians and strong empowers. I'm pretty early 45 days in, but the pools have changed my game a lot.
The nerfs are great, my Mikage/Gnut team I threw together after the nerf got me to level 20. I'm exploring teams to get me to 25, don't have Aniri unfortunately.
Nerfs made it possible for me to get to Stage 25, with my Godseeker/Siphi/Gnut team. Before I was stuck on the last Magic affinity stage.
Used to do stage 11 Before the nerf and had a team where I’d get 15 pts per 12 energy in a run. Was still worth it for me at that time. Now with the nerf I should be able to do 25 with godseeker.
3:31 The Champions you pull with Prism shards definitely give you points for CVC!
I was pretty positive they help for Champion Chase also….but definitely for CVC!
I pulled a random ancient shard today because I was close to mercy thinking maybe get lucky and get Pythion. I got gold, but no Pythion for me. Just a Kantra the Cyclone. Is she useful for a late-game player?
I use her in cursed set and she is great in Hydra, especially when paired with any CD reduction like Nia or Pain Keeper ;)
I’m mid to late game and I do agree, prism shards are pretty dope, I’ve pulled some pretty useful champs from them
I am free to play, playing for about 1,5 years (just got my first 5 fragments for Guurda). I could already farm Sand Devil 25 before the change because I had the huge luck of pulling a 6 stars soul for Blizaar (from a Mortal Soulstone) shortly after the end of his fusion (he is still my only legendary champion with a 6 stars blessing).
I generally push for the free prism except the ones beyond shards opening or Dungeon Divers (for me DD are already the worst events of the fusions and I never push any of them further than necessary). The only useful champions that I ever got from prism crystals were epics for Lady Mikage fusion; I never got any legendary or good epic from them. Still, considering that without them I would not have Mikage yet I can’t complain.
By the way, the change to Sand Devil had a negative impact on me, not only did it make my run longer, but it also made me switch my Blizaar masteries (so it costed me 150 gems) from Warmaster to Giant Slayer. It was working with warmaster but the runs were ever longer.
i started a week ago and pulled lazarius and he carried me to round 5
i usually try and grab them when the rare pool is good. Got all 3 of em last time around, basically all the epics was good for me (fahrakin,geo,fenax being the top prizes for me). I did get the worst possible ones, double neldor (for my 3rd) and something else i can't even remember. Neldor is ok but since it was dupe he was one of the ones i didn't want. So worst possible basically. I still think they are worth it though. But i am not doing full artifact event again unless ALL the epics are ones i want. Overall, really like the event. I can do maybe Sand Devil 10, spider 7hard, dragon hard, icegolem 23, first tier of red essence on twins, fk25, normal doomtower, most non-fk non-scarab normal sintranos. Sand Devil still shite, no godseeker.
I still have no godseeker even after pulling 120 voids on progressive felt so bad.. I am stuck on stage 19 but farm like 12-16
Pre nerf i farmed stage 12 at an almost double the points per energy spent ratio. Even back then it was worth it for the immortal soulstone… probably summoned 10 prism crystals in total no gamechanging epics but i do have a Ma shalled and a Bivald from that. As a f2p ill take that.
I am f2p and started when Ninja came out, once I get my Marius, I should be able to make a decent speed farm team for Sanddevil with Siphi and Gnut
No cheese Ainiri on my account. I was on stage 14 before the nerf and am now on 17. I managed 18, but it's high failure rate. 😢
They r good for free to play got harima and 2 michinaki and some good epics from them very worth grinding for
That Eternal Soulstone is calling to me, brother. It doesn't help that I've wanted a Riho since I started playing either~

Got the Vizug from Sanddevil prism reward. DOnt know if he is good or just another Acelin ( which I alos got from prism shard)
The ogre unity champ looks crazy good
I ran through the gamut emotionally with the prism summon - I decided to get the sand devil event prisms, got them (yay), looked at the pool and found that I had almost all the epics (boo), remembered about faction guardians and empowerment (yay), accidentally pulled while swiping my mobile screen instead of waiting for champ chase (boo), got dopamine hit from watching the summon (yay), didn't pull anything exciting (boo).
i will be honest
epic empowerment is what sky rocketed the value of these prism crystals and the fact that are more options to get them now
Level 59 account, I am now able to do stage 8 of sand devil in 11 turns, and got my crystals within two hours of doing my first run.
F2P 121 days in and i could only do sand devil one through brute force (and without ripping apart other progressions teams). now i can get to stage 4 with 0 effort - love these shard events as they feel achievable for a potential high reward
I've gotten everything free one, n pulled only epics no mercy is no beuno
Agree, the prism is nice. Last prism, I farmed sand devil to get one pull. thinking I can get an epic to empower. Got lord groggor. Was stunned.
Also, I run mother cybel and the epic, gorlos at stage 25. Have to keep checking on it though., Gets off tuned sometimes, and he stops using his burn on sleep. Have to manual back. Guess I should build my godseeker and dreng. Just being lazy I guess.
I barely farmed 7 on Sand Devil before nerf, now I am on 14.
After seeing the summon rush, the call was to skip the first summon rush and the champ Chase and do this one with 9 sacreds.
I do 24 and 25 SD without godseeker....dutchess in SS, gnut, riho, kymar and chaagur, not consistent but doable
I am lvl 74 and do stage 4, 15 points per 10 energy. Always finish it pretty comfortably and fast.
So far I got two legos, some nice epics but mainly filler epics. Still all very nice for progression
Since the nerf, went from stage 6 to 15, 13 is the sweet spot atm
I moved from stage 11 to 15 after the nerf. Stage 16 still just get nuked down by Feast Swarm. So in my eyes it still requires a Godseeker to climb. I could probably figure a team out for 16, but then it probably won’t work for 17, 18 and beyond because affinity changes. So in my eyes the nerf solved nothing. Here I go back to waiting for Godseeker.
They doubled the points for the ancients. Pretty nice if you are sitting on a bunch of them. Because I think usually you only get 20 points for an ancient.
Yeah i love void shards anytime i only pull a few and get a lego too.

So far I have farmed mostly stage 7 Sand Devil and after the nerfs that same team can now do stage 15
I'm not going for the fusion, but watching this viedeo i was: "hmm yeah the mythical book is kinda really valueable" so i just popped 10 ancients and got a kalvalax (new), so thanks nubs for this viedeo.

I’m mid game f2p and I like the summon pool events it is basically free epic and if you are lucky you may get a legendary ( note: I don’t use gems, only free refill energy in the sand devil)
For this fusion i want to get at least 3 epics to summon then in a future fusion
I hope they do a 1+1 legendary from ancients soon ... saving my mercy for this xD

As a mid game FTP, I got Falmond from free prism shards. Great success, motivated me to collect more. I have Godseeker, so SD is no problem
Is this summon rush skippable (all fragments)?
All 50 fragments are extra. You can either skip this, or go for it and skip other events/tournaments.
I just did a low level 10 second round I was able to complete the reward string with little energy and did well. Without Godseeker I can get to lvl 10...that was pre nerf. I haven't tried to push it yet
I'm such a day to day player after work that I barely manage the bare minimum, I really need to focus on account progression and make myself not care about fusions. (Not going for Incarnate, but the epics for either a copy or just all Maud frags.)
There isn't a reason why I shouldn't have a team for SD to farm the lower to mid levels. 😅
F2p, and yeah, I don't have any complaints about prism crystals, it's a sacred you can buy with energy that can get you void heroes.
I pulled Ursula off the banner lords unity pool and got super lucky and hit Gregor off the barbarian pool
I have been farming sand devil 5 and getting about 1:1 energy to points, but the sand devil update seems to have made that better for me
