• Best thing about these lightbulbs is you can USE AS ORDINARY LIGHT BULB - Screw into any standard lamp, it lights up the same way. The only difference is that it recharges itself automatically when you turn on the lamp.
• These are 12W LED lightbulbs, 60W equivalent to incandescent lightbulbs, and put out 750 LUMENS
• 1200mAh lithium ion rechargeable battery
• Bulbs take 6 - 8 hours to fully charge
• Should last 2 - 5 hours at 100%
• The light bulbs feature 3 phases of brightness (10% - 50% - 100%). Allows you a choice as to how you want to light an area.
• The removable portable hooks allow you to use lights as a work light or you can use them outdoors to light up areas you need in a moment’s notice when you have no power.
REVIEW:
Good:
• Having light when the power goes out is worth it.
• It powers up while functioning as a normal lightbulb.
Bad:
• Not much bad about it.
• Things I would work on:
• Charging: Bulbs that aren’t screwed in receptacles and turned on aren’t charging. Would be nice to have a way to charge the batteries on their own without having to be screwed into a receptacle.
• Changing brightness: Very odd way to cycle from different brightness levels. Clicking on a lamp toggle one, two, or three times and looking at the light to see if it changes is not easy to do. Honestly I couldn’t tell the difference between the 10% and 50% brightness anyway. Maybe add a button on the lightbulb itself that cycles you through the brightness or have it happen when you tap the lightbulb on top with your finger once for each brightness level.
• Would be nice to have a remote to turn the lights on and off if needed.
o And if you used the remote to turn them off, they still recharged in that off position within the receptacle of the lamp.
So overall, I think these rechargeable lightbulbs great to have around in case of a power outage, or if you need some portable lighting outside at night while you’re entertaining, fishing or camping.
