Thank you, SO MUCH, for this Cross Century Ballpoint Pen video review. In my younger adulthood, I loved using these pens. Recently, I happened upon a USA-manufactured golden-hued version in the Farmhouse where I spent summers, growing up. In trying to twist out the writing tip, the barrel of the pen separated from the rest of the body and I was concerned that age had destroyed the pen. Thankfully, after watching your video to observe the correct way of separating the pen and accessing the ink cartridge, I was reminded how to remove the top half of the pen to change the ink cartridge. That simple step allowed me to push the barrel of the pen back into position, which resulted in the pen working, flawlessly. Another huge Blessing for me was that the decades-old blue ink Cross cartridge still flows, pristinely! In the cup of pens in which my Cross Century was located, only one other pen wrote, at all, and smoothly at that - a plastic body click pen with bright green ink! LoL Thanks, again, for helping me to reunite with my very cool gold-toned Cross Century Ballpoint Pen. Blessings, Grace and Peace 😊
You are absolutely welcome! This is exactly what my UA-cam channel was made for. So glad I was able to help and I hope you get many new years of use out of that pen!
i bought a cross century slim classic rollerball pen and it's really awesome. I got the one with satin black body and gold plated appointments !! really really feels great in the hands
I have this pen and it's really beautiful. However, they are thin making grasping really difficult, especially if you are doing a lot of writing. They tend to slip in your hand. But, the overall aesthetics of this pen is hard to beat.
Hellow, I feel that ball pen refils made in Ireland loss ink When you write a lot because the tip accumulates ink and it produce stains onda the paper.
⚠️Warning ⚠️ Cross pen warranty sucks. I sent my 10K Cross company award pen set in for repair months ago and today they sent it back with zero repair done wanting me now to send them $20 per unit for repairs they never did. Guess what the pen set was brand new in the green leather gift box and never used. I plan to post this all over the Internet so people understand Cross lifetime warranty is a joke. When I called Cross pen customer service months ago and they gave me a claim number and address were to send the pen set but never told me that would take two months before they could tell me whether they could fix it or not and then end up sending it back to me unrepaired today with a note enclosed saying send us $20 per unit or call her one 800 number. I plan to call my company corporate office and make sure they don’t use Cross Pen sets as 20 year service awards anymore.
These pens were really popular in the sixties and seventies. Usually as a combo set with a matching mechanical pencil. For my tastes the barrel is much too slender for a comfortable grip. They are quite stylish, however.
Cross Pens produced by A.T. Cross Company, USA were excellent pen, comes with lifetime mechanical guarantee. I personally just love them. I collect the USA made Crosses which has the old logo (Like this one has) Now they make it in China and you can feel the difference if you can compare the weight.
Beautifull classic pen my ftiend, i own a close to 45 year old paper mate powerpoint pencil, pen set that belonged to my dad who died in 2012, sometimes a simpel thing as a pen can mean a lot to people.
I love these pens but Im left handed and ball point pens skip for lefties. I wish there was a way to put a different refill in them to make mine usable
@markcoffman707 thanks for the reply. I have 3 or 4, but don't like the ballpoint pens. I like rollerball and gel ink. I also have a bunch of ballpoint promo pens that I'd like to put a gel refill into. Any idea if there is a gel refill for those type?
@@deasttn I couldn’t possibly tell you. I am not an expert when it comes to pens. But I am quite sure there are Facebook groups were people are devoted to these things. Give that a try!.
Cross went through quite a few different factory locations. I believe they started in the USA then went over to Ireland and then ended up being made in France/China
No familiar with this (or many other) pen . It’s a good looking pen though . I carry a machine era markup brass pen, and a cheaper rite in the rain pen that came with a rite in the rain organizer . Thanks for the video !! Take care

Jesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.
The Montblanc ballpoint refills are awful. They write terribly. I would rather compare to Caran D’ache. The Goliath refills are the best in my opinion, in terms of ballpoints.

I have this pen....nice
I have an apple....
I like the Parker Pens. I have a couple of the stainless ones and I think it looks equal to or better than the Cross you are talking about.
I have this pen and need know how tighten it so it won’t retract while I write. Any suggestions?
I need to be able to disassemble one that is stuck, won't turn to show the ink tip. :(
I used a hair dryer to help wiggle an old one free
how many days this pen can last
The pen will last forever. It's the ink that will run out.
Is this the lustrous chrome edition
Yes
I have the same pen. In a set with a mechanical pencil. It says Made in Cross Ireland on the latch. Could it have been made in Ireland?

Nice pen buddy. I have a stainless Parker Arrow I really like. Take care.
My cross says usa on it, is it really made in the usa?
I was gifted a set that was a pen and pencil but the pen doesn't twist very much
could not even retrieve the tip. too hard to turn.
