It's because people don't know what awesome music sounds like, nor do they look for it. They're all fed mainstream garbage.
It's better this way. I hope the band makes a lot of $ off it's hardcore audience but going mainstream normally constrains artists while if they run under the radar they can do anything they want for their real fans. It's just up to fans to support them which is why concerts are great people pay a lot of $ to see people they like win win.

Glitch mob is such a great transition for a metal fan to electronic music. Almost as good as infected mushroom
I know your comment was 8 years ago but I had to reply. Huge metalhead until a few years ago and the two artists you named were the reason I became an electronic music fan. Massive Attack solidified my love for electronic music and caused it to become my go-to music over metal. All 3 are in my top 10 favorite artists. My music taste has grown tremendously because of these 3 artists.

Then I went to one of your live shows. The Warfield, San Fransico, May ninth.
And I was blown away. You guys are so incredibly, unimaginably, influentially powerful to me. I listen to any of your songs and it puts me in a good mood- makes me feel like a badass, makes me want to run and go BASE jumping and other badass things like that. Your basslines kick you out of your seat. Your high ends bleep and quiver at a strobelike rate. Your drums hit hard, fast and violently. Everything about your music is awesome.
Keep producing guys. You are probably some of the best artists out there. Respond to this comment if you will, to let me know that you know that you have humongous fans like me out there. Go on tour again soon, come to California again. I cannot wait for your next album.
