Man I gave up on trying to disconnect the white clip. I just took off the stick while keeping that part in tact. I could still complete the rest of the installation with a long socket wrench. I also put the coin pouch underneath the stick to prevent the T25 screw from dropping into the gap.
It was hard to take the bolts out because you even left the part in 😂 left=loosen right=thighten you 100% was thighteninv the bolt in the video. Probably f’ed those threads my friend and that’s why you had problems. And I’d say someone could just pull on the plate and gain access just saying. Don’t do what this guy did people it’s not that hard to remove those bolts unless you over tighten and strip the threads like he did 😂
I keep my keys in a fareaday pouch to block thieves from coping my key fob. I want to get this, install it, and then strip the head where it can’t be removed by thieves
They come with security bolt/screws. You don’t wanna strip it because if your car happens to die and needs towed gotta be able to get the vehicle in neutral. Just use security screws/bolts could even get some of your choosing
Look in to buying the auto lock it lock that goes on the brake pedal u cant hit the brakes to start it or to even stop the car and this plate will work the lock that goes on the brake it steel you will be there alll day trying to get the lock off

I mean if they are sawing off steering wheel locks etc, can’t they just drill through this metal or break it fairly easily too?
They probably can but anything to slow them down and make it harder to steal the car
