It is so unfortunate to hear some Congoleses who still deny citizenship of Banyamulenge. I want to let you know that there will be no single day that Banyamulenge will leave their country because of noise, evil plans, and propaganda of the extremists. Even if it will require their blood, they are ready to sacrifice it for defending and protecting their dignity. Today, Banyamulenge are being attacked by Mai-Mai allied with foreign rebels, RED Tabara and FNL. The interests of these rebels are evil not only to Banyamulenge people, but also to all Congoleses, and GreatLakes region as well. If the world today stand to save Banyamulenge innocents people in Minembwe, the Congo and region will be saved also. I know this is not understandable to extremists. There is saying which says that, "When the brain is hammer, all the problems seems to be nail". The moral of the saying is: Many of the Congolese people perceive Banyamulenge as foreigners and hence all they wish for them is to be exterminated from Congo whether by killing them or discrimination. You also need to understand the independence of Congo and its impact on citizenship. The law passed in 1971 by the parliament revealed that Congolese are those who were at the soil of Congo before independence. One year after, another one was passed and provided that Congolese are those who were in Congo before 1950. Moreover, another one was passed in 1981 and it revealed that Congolese are those who were on Congo's soil before Berlin conference. Unless you need illogical facts for you to understand....

And it would increase the chance of returning in Congo in the near future with reason of returning refugees back in their country through his support. The Banyamulenge had often refused to cooperate with him starting in 2002 when he fought Gen. Masunzu. Later there was no spirit among Banyamulenge to further the plans he had for Congo.....
they use sophistries to gaslight the reality in congo. banyamulenge does not exist in congo. there is not any irrefutable proof that shows banyamulenge existed before or after 1972 when Barthelemy bisengimana requested collectivity citizenship for the banyarwanda. to become zairois or Congolese and it was repudiated by the MPR committee. Therefore, I cannot fathom why these people claim a fraudulent nationality with the intention to balkanize the congo. in addition to this matter, banyarwandan has even marched against the decision that was implemented concerning citizenship on June 20th, 1981.

14th century my ass! They came in successive waves beginning in the 1950s. We have people whose parents and grandparents came from Angola, Sudan, Uganda, Zambia etc, no problem. We are tired and sick of you Tutsis, why always Tutsis ??? we have so many diverse tribes in the congo, over 450 and they all speak a different language, we all have a different culture, we are all poor and we are all a minority except the baluba, we have all been killed, and in congo there are also many other diasporas there,

Its normal 4 them to feel insecurities in so many ways because they know what they're claiming is not true. They've been supporting their brothers M23 in a dream of balkanization CONGO, they tried to take the place Mulenge by havingg own forces and settled themselves governments, when the Kinshasa government asks them, they always claime because they feel insecure.
In over 400 tribes in whole DRC-CONGO, how possible is it just for one tribe to feel insecure if you're really original from the place? It's like nowadays in Rwanda regime, if you're Hutu from Rwanda and live in DRC-CONGO, then you're consided as FDLR and labed you a genocidal.
The Rwandese Tutsi are pretending to forget before Hutu, they're the ones were seeking refugees across neighbouring countries then when they took power, they accuse the other tribe of genocide and label the whole tribe FDLR. I agreed with Kikwete, kagame have to sit and find peace with Hutu as we're seeing in Burundi.
