Neat idea with the tool roll set-up. However, the bench has to be cleared to get it all out. Far better to have a sharpening station set up and always accessible - space permitting of course. Which proves the point, where sharpening is concerned, each to their own as long as it works.

Yes, the fixed station is the ideal solution. I needed a portable solution, since I demonstrate at the New England-area Lie-Nielsen Hand Tool Events. My previous portable setup was too bulky, heavy, and complicated. I already have enough other stuff to lug around!

Hi Chad, it plays properly for me. It's just me talking, no background music, so there are some silent parts. What problems are you having? All through the entire video, or just at specific points?

Well, I reuploaded it, and then UA-cam said it was a duplicate of a video I had previously uploaded and discarded it, which means it must be bit-for-bit identical. I would suggest rebooting your device or trying it on a different device. Perhaps something in the playback system has an internal issue. It plays properly for me on Chrome Mac OS, and UA-cam Android.
