I think the 1st was great but I love the Future part of the 2nd movie a bit better.Even tho they could have stopped at two. The 3rd one was a nice way to wrap it all up and put a bow on it.
In my opinion, Back To The Future is the most consistent movie trilogy (at least in terms of quality), which is ironic because it breaks the key rule of a trilogy which is doing essentially the same story 3 times, yet it works given the motif of history repeating itself.
I think it works because the first one wasn't intended to get a sequel, and when they were working on the 2nd and 3rd ones they were filmed together / back to back so all the plot points were sorted out there and then.
Kevin Medina: A few years ago, 1 of the creators of the trilogy said in an interview that since Marty didn't end up in the car accident in the 3rd movie, he changed the future, so everything that was originally shown in the future of 2015 we saw in the 2nd movie didn't happen, including flying cars, hover boards, and the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series (though they ended up being off just 1 year on that 1).

The ultimate modern day Time Travel Trilogy which despite telling the same story in all 3 movies actually works in the narrative of history repeating itself. The performances by Michael J Fox and the rest of the cast are flawless. Part 2 has always been my favourite in the whole Trilogy for the clever way it tells the movie while revisiting the events of the first movie inside the 2nd movie.
@YoungD3mon314 Very different genres though. BTTF is a sci-fi adventure, those other movies are action/adventure, or just plain action/drama in the case of The Godfather trilogy. Regardless though, each person has their own preference of greatness. I like action movies, but are they 'better' than even one of the BTTF films.. not to me. BTTF is special in my view because its creative, its fantastical, purely theoretical stuff, but presented in a really cool and interesting way. Again, to each their own, and that's okay.
I've heard the argument of how could Marty's parents not remember their kid when they are grown up. The counter is that he was just some kid in school they knew for a week. With that said, there is NO WAY Biff doesn't remember the Almanac, fighting with Marty multiple times, crashing into the manure truck for a second time, and, of course, a flying car moments before all that happened.
Yup, true. And 'Family Guy' had it right with that scenario..Marty: "Mom, Dad, I accidentally set fire to the livingroom rug!!" George: "I'm not going easy on him!!" LMFAO!!! 🤣
If this movie was remade today with the same time between dates. From 2020 they'd go to 1990. Then to 2050 and then to 1920! At least I think that's how it would go...
To make it "make sense" with the similar problems Marty and Doc encountered this is what I would do Instead of a DeLorean, maybe a Tesla, Lotus Evora or other exotic vehicle that looks futuristic Part 1: Marty stuck in 1990 again because Plutonium is required, bolt of lightning is used to send Marty back to 2020 Part 2: Can be pretty much the same as the original BTTF2 Part 3: If a Tesla is used, then it damaged in a shootout/small explosion in 1920, where the battery pack is damaged unable to hold a charge at all. It is pushed to 88mph thanks to a 1920 diesel train \\ If a Lotus or another gasoline vehicle is used, a critical engine sensor is shot making the car unable to start and no time to get parts to make a makeshift replacement (again, Doc has to leave before Sept 7th) and is pushed by a 1920 diesel train again.
This is my favourite movie series of all time. Love each individual movie the actors and time traveling type movies I love! Great job explanation the full series! Great video.
That's on Claudia though, haha. I think she was trying to do a TV show or something at the time, and couldn't commit to doing Parts II & III in back to back years. I think she probably still regrets that decision :P
@@LapisAndroid17ParkRanger Oh okay, was not aware when I looked her up a while back. Thanks for informing me for future reference. She did a great job in the little we saw her. Wish she would've gotten a chance to finish what she started, but I've noticed that she makes appearances when invited for BTTF events, and is always really happy and grateful to be with the fans. Cool to see :)
It was unfortunate, as IMO, Claudia Wells was beautiful. Elizabeth Shue was no slouch though, and she had starred in Adventures in Babysitting and Cocktail by then, so I guess she was as good a choice as any.
Also when he goes back to the mall at the end of the first movie the Twin Pines Mall had the name changed to Lone Pine Mall Because he ran over one of the pines when he first went back to 1955. I noticed this last time I saw the movie.
He felt like urinating and was trying to signal the director to give him a bathroom break. Hence the hand gestures. I learned this from a "making of documentary" of the film.
The comics fill a lot of missing areas and was overseen by Bob Gale and them. Also i waited with baited breath for part 2 to come out. I skipped school and waited for the theater to open, i was the only person in the room :) sooooo cool 😎
You should be able to find a way to read them online vintage and recent. As far as picking them up in print, the ones i was referring to are recent, maybe 2016-18 or so, it was a brief run by IDW comics. It had the basic BTTF stuff as well as a Biff to the future and more on Doc and Clara with the kids on their time travelling train adventures. Really quite amusing :)
When BTTF 2 came out, I kind of wished that it would stay in 2015 the whole time and be about how Marty Jr became the bully and Griff became the wimp that Marty Jr picked on. And that Marty Sr's lesson was to convince his son that bullying isn't the way, and have be have a more heartfelt approach with a good lesson to be learned like the first BTTF. Not sure how that would work with there being a Buford Tanner in 1885 without it being anticlimactic. But still a good story for part 2.
SOMETHING HUGE WAS SKIPPED! Marty breaks into Dr. Emmett Brown's lab to steal a part for his guitar... Doc Brown catches Marty and decides to hire him as an assistant (taking a liking to his enthusiasm). This was the origin of the Marty/Doc Brown friendship.
Another theory is that Marty wasn't such a good kid, stole the time machine, ended up in 1955, found younger Doc because he saw the name on the truck, but ended up stuck in the past without info on the lightning bolt. Then later, Doc is guilty for Marty being stuck in the past, befriends the McFly family when Marty is younger, in the late 70's/early 80's, and then we're at the start of the first movie. Doc then "arranged" for Marty to be in possession of the flyer about the lightning bolt, so that younger Doc would have the info they needed to get Marty back to 1985.
It goes through each new timeline, in chronological order, as they are created. Any point where a time jump occurs, a new timeline is created. So the first "original" timeline is from 1885, Clara dies, George is bullied in school then at work, mom is an alcoholic etc. up through the first part of the first movie (which is why they mentioned not knowing how 2015 would have been before any of the time jumps). Then the first time jump to 1955 happens, and a new series of events starts happening, thus timeline B, and so on with each subsequent time jump.
@@Patrick94GSR Thanks for the explanation... I think I'd need a graphical bar graph to see how they are trying to convey this, as I'm readying it, I'm still seeing how the movie just unfolds in it's natural sequel course anyway, I must be missing something.
Marty did the right decision to prevent the incident by needles leading to a reckless driving when the white silver cloud stops preventing a serious accident when needles evaded it as the fax note disappears Marty with Jennifer accomplish in the process so their future can look bright for years to come.
Didn't George and Lorraine meet the same day as doc Brown's accident? And old Biff shows up on November 12, the date of the dance and the storm. And the 1885 letter is delivered by western union.
Back to the Future is what I can describe as a PERFECT trilogy. Every movie in it is awesome, and I think they are all on par with each other. The time travel logic is not perfect but it’s all in good fun.
1 correction: After Marvin phoned Chuck, Marty only played about 2 bars of the original music before going off the rails. Chuck heard none of the lyrics and almost none of the original music. Marty's influence on Chuck writing the song would likely have been none at all.
I like to believe that this all happens in an Alternate Timeline, Doc makes another timeline and tells Steven Spielberg what happened and he switches it up to make a blockbuster Movie Series...
This isn’t a timeline explanation, this is just a run down of the trilogy scripts. All Doc would’ve had to tell Marty in order to avoid his kid from being arrested in the future,(which never made sense because it can be repeated anyway ) tell Marty do not get into a race with his truck it will cause an accident and chain events that screw up his and his future family’s life.
The funniest part of this is at the very end where the youngest of Doc’s children motions with his hand and points to the front of his pants. The actual actor had to use the restroom. I’m not sure if they didn’t notice or did and just left it in there, but I’m glad they did. A funny Easter egg
Theres 1 really depressing aspect to the first movie if you think about it. If there was only 1 timeline, the past would have already happened so the mall would already be named the Lone Pine at the beginning + all the other things Marty changed. Since everything is different after he returns to 1985, that means that this better 1985 is a new timeline. Which means that the original timeline where Doc dies and Marty just disappears forever still exists and is playing out in it's own timeline.
I watched the trilogy a week ago and let me tell you this is one of the best I ever saw. I was disappointed that Marty's girlfriend was changed after first part.
I only now realised that when marty travels to the old west and the fuel line is punctured on the delorean and they cant get fuel, they still have the second delorean which doc has hidden, they could of used the fuel line and fuel from the original delorean on this delorean and travel without the train.
I wonder why when Marty went back to rescue doc in 1855 and his foul destroyed on the way in, why didn't use the parts or foul from the one he had (that he hid and left for Marty). Writing this made me realize that if they did anything to the one doc had would not let Marty go back to rescue doc. But maybe the doc in 1955 could have fixed the foul part too.
I don't think Marty would have had to burn the almanac to restore the timeline. Once he got it from Biff, then that should've changed everything, sincehe was no longer able to use it.
4:23 If Marty goes to "back" to 1985, but in this new timeline the Doc has met Marty in 1955 and gained so much information about the DeLorean, why is the Doc doing the same experiment at the same exact time and place (albeit Single Pine Mall) as the Doc who never ran into Marty in 1955? Wouldn't the Doc be further ahead? Wouldn't things have changed more? Also, where does the Marty belonging to this timeline go to when fleeing the Libyans in the DeLorean? Does he go to 1955, or maybe not?
i wished you coved timeline G For 2015, sense marty avoided the tragic car accident and learned not to step up to bullies. in this timeline marty furfilled his music career, and doc later gone back to the future to prevent jennifer from being taken to the mcfly residence and meets her future self. and as always the events of the 2nd movie took place where marty prevented martin mcfly jr. from being arested.
I've wondered a couple of things about the changing of items when the timelines have been changed. Such as when the 2015 where Marty gets fired changed, the "You're fired" dissapears from the fax which Jennifer holds. But, wouldn't the entire fax, the entire piece of paper then dissappear? Also, I've wondered if it would've made much of a difference on Clint Eastwood's career now living in a world where someone who had the same name as him back in the 1880s was killed in a ravine explosion? (he wasn't actually killed, and his name wasn't actually Clint Eastwood, but everyone from history (except Marty, Doc, and Clara) thought it was)
I wonder if Doc is really Marty's dad? Doc could go back to 1885 meet his wife and have a son. Doing this would explain why Doc is always there for Marty and always has a explanation for why certain things can happen. It makes perfect sense because sense Doc for some reason can't tell Marty he's his dad he settles for being his BEST FRIEND.
and because Marty decided not to race Needles, he didn't crash into the car....which means he change that the cubs would not win in 2015 but only a year later....he not only change his future but he also change the future of the cubs!!
@@jeff6413 Yeah i get that. But prior to going back to 1885, the ravine was called Clayton Ravine because Clara Clayton died when her horse and wagon went into the ravine, however, when Doc Brown goes to 1885, he saves her and falls in love with her. She then pays for his headstone after Doc is shot and killed. However, when Marty goes to 1885, the ravine is still called Clayton Ravine even though she no longer died in the ravine. This makes no sense.
Deshay Redd Then why is Clara’s name on Doc Brown’s tombstone? Obviously Doc Brown saved Clara and fell in love with her before Marty went back to 1885
Fiv Eliter so you saying why when he went back to 1955 a second time the ravine called Clara Ravine ? They ddnt mention anything about the ravine until he went to 1885 he went back far enough to before doc was suppose to die which was before doc met and saved Clara. So doc had actually saved her twice before Marty got there and when Marty got there.
You made one little mistake in this video. You said that Doc Brown turned the letter over to the Postal Service and told them where and when to deliver it. He didn't turn it over to Postal Service, he turned it over to Western Union and it was Joe Flaherty from SCTV fame who delivered it. Joe Flaherty was also in Used Cars and Happy Gilmore to name a few.
Because the fuel source for propulsion of the car itself was the problem, not getting the actual time circuits to work, I suppose. That's why he specifically pointed out that "it runs on steam!". I get what you're saying, though. I'm guessing the mechanics of the Flux Capacitor and time circuits aren't all that complicated since he originally came up with the idea back in 1955 and also repaired the lightning strike damage to the circuits using 1955 technology. I mean, he was able to construct an ice maker/refrigerator in 1885, so it's not out of the question he would be able to replicate other technology from the '50s. I believe part of what made it take so long to originally build the Capacitor was money, since he spent his entire fortune getting it to work. I'm also guessing he would thoroughly understand the mechanics of the Mr. Fusion and flight conversion as well because, being a curious scientist, he likely would have picked both elements apart to examine all of it in 2015 after getting the Deloreon upgraded.
What I really don't get is the fact that his mother, Lorraine, says these reasons about why she doesn't like Jennifer, in the original 1985. Yet when Marty goes back to the original 1955, she already seems like a promiscuous teenager. Whether it was supposed to be George or changed to Marty, she isn't the young wholehearted woman she claimed to be (I mean yes, what parent is gonna tell their kid(s) how they really were at their same age). Maybe you can say that Marty isn't the shy, timid, nonconfrontational teen George was, he was the complete opposite as to why she isn't the same way she was originally supposed to be, but she obviously took Marty's pants off while he's unconscious without her parents knowing, before even introducing herself to him, because she does throw them back to him and says: "Quick!!..Put your pants back on!" before he goes downstairs to meet everyone else..his future grandfather, grandmother, uncles, and aunt. She chases Marty the whole time, yet says girls chasing boys is terrible and is just asking for trouble. Then before going to the dance, Marty asks if she minds if they park then she responds: "I love to park" & "it's not like I never parked before" (in the original 1985 she said she has never done that, but obviously has) and she brings a liquor bottle and cigarettes with her. I mean, was she like that with George in the original past, you can't fully say it's Marty's personality that influences her to change from the time her dad hit Marty instead of George. She took his pants off, chases him the entire time, and says she has parked before, does anyone else see my point and the counter to those points that still don't make sense??
For a person of X generation who hasn't seen the trilogy but got here after reading the plot online to get a better understanding...ooh that's still confusing..yet awsome
The Irony Of BTTF Is, If You Go Forward In Time You Cannot See Yourself In The Future Because You've Left Your Original Time & Reappeared Years Later. As Far As Everyone Living At Normal Time Pace Is Concerned, You Suddenly Dissappeared One Day & Then Reappeared Years Later Looking Exactly The Same, So It Would Be Impossible To See Your Future Self Looking Older. If You Went Back In Time You Could See Yourself Up To The Point You Jumped Back, Then You'd Witness Yourself Just Dissappear ...
Has anyone else noticed how similar Marty's girlfriend and mother look alike? Intended? Or just that the two actresses look very similar and they just went with it?? Seriously that's pretty heavy as Marty would say.
i think you messed up a touch. from what you said and the clips it’s as if doc decided to stay BECAUSE clara left him. that makes no sense. it was that he stayed because he loved her but marty convinced him to go back so he told clara goodbye and she didn’t believe he was a time traveler so she broke up with him so doc now had no reason to stay anyways but then clara decided to stay with him and the end.
Something most people never think about. There are TWO DELOREANS IN 1885! The one that brought Doc and the one that brought Marty. Not sure why that’s left out of the movie.
You're not thinking 4th dimensionally 🙂 Doc had already buried the original Delorean in the mine shaft for Marty and his 1955 counterpart to unearth in 1955 so that Marty could return to 1985 and Doc would remain in 1885. Obviously, that didn't happen. And once the fuel line was ruptured when Marty arrived in 1885, they couldn't get the other Delorean (with an intact fuel line) to use, because then it couldn't be unearthed in 1955, and Marty couldn't use it to return...well you get the idea. Plus, Doc had drained the fuel and unless he had saved it, there was no gasoline to be found in 1885, while it was plentiful in 1955, plus the tires had rotted, again no tires in 1885, but plenty in 1955, etc. etc.
There are so many inaccuracies (and/or assumptions that never are substantiated, like that it's specifically Burger King that Dave works at) that I'm wondering if the person writing this video even has seen the movies more than once and less than 20 years ago 🙄 Also, Lorraine's changed attitude towards Jennifer is more likely due to the fact that she's not bitter and depressed anymore, so because she is now happy in her life, she also has a much more benevolent attitude towards her kids and their dating life. As for Einstein in the suspended animation kennel; I don't think it's risky with them changing events, because he obviously put him there on a date BEFORE they change the stuff regarding Marty jr. and Marlene, so when they change events, it wouldn't affect Einstein's kennel visitation in the slightest. This video is the worst BttF-video I've seen, half of the time they don't know what the fuck they're talking about...
Alternate theory.. Jennifer in BTTF 2 isn't a different person, (actress Elizabeth Shue), she just has a different dad and now has different facial features.. Due to Marty's interference in BTTF 1
Why would biff help his younger self if it wouldn’t benefit him personally? And after he gave the almanac to him he altered the timeline and should have went to the alternate future instead of going back to the same one
from nearly all version, we saw how old Biff were in great pain when exiting from De Lorean. In one of extended version, we can find out that he ducked behind that big green trash compartment (i think, it's been quite long time watching that) & slowly vanished into thin air after that. Also unconfirmed, but... borrowing from other stories regarding time theories, time can sometimes fix itself, thus... the 2015 version from Biff's alternate timeline might not differ much, sans Biff ofc.
like i said earlier, from extended version i watched some time ago, old biff kinda slowly fades into nothingness after exiting de lorean. his corrupt 1985 version might've not live long enough apparently, tho we might never know how.
That is one of the loopholes. When Old Biff gave his young self the Almanac, he went Back to 2015, skipping over 1958 whe Biff won his first Million. In 2015, he vanished because Lorraine shot and killed him sometime after 1985. The 'oops' is when Hilldale itself doesn't change into a garbage dump right after Biff dies, since the forward flow of the timeline change had caught up with Biff.
d fernandez you’re actually right... but maybe (just spitballing here) Doc used the parts of the second Delorean to make the Time traveling train 🤷🏽♂️
d fernandez just thought about it again... yes, there were two at the time in 1885 but if Doc messed with the second Delorean Marty would never have had a car to travel with in 1955 to 1885. Arrr!, time travel movies can be brain cracking at times.
They should reboot this movie and modernise it. The original is absolutely amazing and yes, I think a lot of people would disagree with me because it's a classic film but I always wish there was more movies and a lot more could be done these days as the cinematic scene has advanced significantly.

To make it "make sense" with the similar problems Marty and Doc encountered this is what I would do
Instead of a DeLorean, maybe a Tesla, Lotus Evora or other exotic vehicle that looks futuristic
Part 1: Marty stuck in 1990 again because Plutonium is required, bolt of lightning is used to send Marty back to 2020
Part 2: Can be pretty much the same as the original BTTF2
Part 3: If a Tesla is used, then it damaged in a shootout/small explosion in 1920, where the battery pack is damaged unable to hold a charge at all.

That's on Claudia though, haha. I think she was trying to do a TV show or something at the time, and couldn't commit to doing Parts II & III in back to back years. I think she probably still regrets that decision :P
@@RDSports5 No, her mother had cancer so she stopped acting for a while.
Will D. The sequels were done together.
It was unfortunate, as IMO, Claudia Wells was beautiful. Elizabeth Shue was no slouch though, and she had starred in Adventures in Babysitting and Cocktail by then, so I guess she was as good a choice as any.
Have watched this countless times....even now i want to see it again... ❤
Just watched the trilogy this weekend on Netflix. Perfect movie trilogy imo.
Also when he goes back to the mall at the end of the first movie the Twin Pines Mall had the name changed to Lone Pine Mall Because he ran over one of the pines when he first went back to 1955. I noticed this last time I saw the movie.
1 of the few trilogies left that won’t be tarnished
Don't speak too soon. They've ruined everything else, it's the last one they can have a stab at
Lorrain said that she wouldn't marry biff even if he had a million dollars but apparently she would if he had a billion dollars.
Was anyone else distracted by docs son at the end 😂
Some odd ass shit going on there
I knew that thing and was looking for it.
That kid must be a maniac now.
He felt like urinating and was trying to signal the director to give him a bathroom break. Hence the hand gestures. I learned this from a "making of documentary" of the film.
SimoExMachina2 yes that’s the most logical answer but unlike children we all now have sick minds.
I was expecting him to day something about that since it's in all the bloopers.
The comics fill a lot of missing areas and was overseen by Bob Gale and them. Also i waited with baited breath for part 2 to come out. I skipped school and waited for the theater to open, i was the only person in the room :) sooooo cool 😎
Is there any way to see or read the BTTF comics these days, without having to track down vintage copies? Still in print or available online somewhere?
That was so very well done!... BTTF1 aways my fave of the trilogy... Then 3, then 2. Iconic films of the 80s.
The GREATEST trilogy of ALL TIME!
It wasn't supposed to be a trilogy. 2 was too long so they had to cut it in half and got a 3rd movie out of it.
@@Patrick94GSR it's not a theory...
Tommie Patton Kendrick III of course it’s a theory. Do you need a dictionary?
Explain? ... this is just a bloody recap.
Yeah. The lettering didn't help. I need drawn pics like how Doc Brown drew the offshoot to explain to Marty.
@@XcelesteXmagixX Exactly. Thats what I thought we were getting lol
There was no blood, even when characters were injured.
One of the best time travel movie.
True, but how did Doc create the time machine train in the western, if he didn't have the technology available? 🤷♂️
Not one of the best
It's the best ever
This generation can never top it
Marty did the right decision to prevent the incident by needles leading to a reckless driving when the white silver cloud stops preventing a serious accident when needles evaded it as the fax note disappears Marty with Jennifer accomplish in the process so their future can look bright for years to come.
And the friendship between Doc Brown and Marty truly makes a lot more sense after watching Rick and Morty.
Great Scott! Great production👏😍
Didn't George and Lorraine meet the same day as doc Brown's accident?
And old Biff shows up on November 12, the date of the dance and the storm.
And the 1885 letter is delivered by western union.
15:33 docs kid... pointing at the crouch
Cause he had to take a piss, was in a documentary.
i love this trilogy! i just ordered the 2014 dvd upgrade!
Great Scott ! I knew the timeline just like videos like these.
Back to the Future is what I can describe as a PERFECT trilogy. Every movie in it is awesome, and I think they are all on par with each other. The time travel logic is not perfect but it’s all in good fun.
It's really weird that you posted this today. I'm literally in the middle of the 3rd movie after watching the first 2 earlier lol
1 correction: After Marvin phoned Chuck, Marty only played about 2 bars of the original music before going off the rails. Chuck heard none of the lyrics and almost none of the original music. Marty's influence on Chuck writing the song would likely have been none at all.
looper is really scraping the bottom of the Quarantine barrel these days
it's good that they traveled in the year 2015 because if they had traveled in 2020 they would have ended up in quarantine
Great Scott!
I like to believe that this all happens in an Alternate Timeline, Doc makes another timeline and tells Steven Spielberg what happened and he switches it up to make a blockbuster Movie Series...
that would be awesome
Greatest trilogy ever made in the history of human kind! Ever!
The best 3 pieces of film history. Change my mind PLEASE!!!!
It’s like Looper knew I watched this movie earlier today... Back to the Future 1 & 2 for me are the greatest movie pair of films of all time.
I think they cut it out in certain versions of the movie.
There is not just one timeline
I watched the trilogy a week ago and let me tell you this is one of the best I ever saw. I was disappointed that Marty's girlfriend was changed after first part.
Pure awesomeness. Thanks for this!
George Mcfly succeeded to take a stand and laid out Biff Tannen to the punch.
I literally just saw the trilogy yesterday, weird
Classic and without a doubt my favourite trilogy.
I don't think Marty would have had to burn the almanac to restore the timeline. Once he got it from Biff, then that should've changed everything, sincehe was no longer able to use it.
Robert Martin agreed, however burning the almanac meant no one else could use it, including Marty.
2:44 Really losing my mind. Thought the license plate said Quarantine..
Me too lol
15:30 the blond boy pointed to her pines.
So where was Biff son or daughter in 1985
Ha look at Vern around 15:31 . What’s he motioning? 🤣🤣🤣
He felt like peeing, and was trying to signal the director about it. He needed a bathroom break.
(he wasn't actually killed, and his name wasn't actually Clint Eastwood, but everyone from history (except Marty, Doc, and Clara) thought it was)
1985 body armor that can stop an AK bullet that's some serious shit
Doc probably modified it, if he could get plutonium he could get extra kevlar or possibly make his own
@@whaduzitmatr agreed. He knew that he be getting shot with AK-47 he made what he needed. He may have been the guy that invented dragon scales
I Love that movie so much, ive watched it maybe 1400 times, tonight i will watch it again maybe.
I loved watching the movies and the cartoon series.
and because Marty decided not to race Needles, he didn't crash into the car....which means he change that the cubs would not win in 2015 but only a year later....he not only change his future but he also change the future of the cubs!!
How did I turn this video all the way down and still find it too loud?
Why is Clayton Ravine still named after Clara if Doc Brown has already saved her before Marty goes back to 1885?
When Marty returned to 1985, it was changed to Eastwood Ravine since it was believed he died in the wreck
Fiv Eliter he ddnt Save her until Marty came to 1885
Deshay Redd Then why is Clara’s name on Doc Brown’s tombstone? Obviously Doc Brown saved Clara and fell in love with her before Marty went back to 1885
Fiv Eliter so you saying why when he went back to 1955 a second time the ravine called Clara Ravine ? They ddnt mention anything about the ravine until he went to 1885 he went back far enough to before doc was suppose to die which was before doc met and saved Clara. So doc had actually saved her twice before Marty got there and when Marty got there.
Ok so if doc can stay in 1955 what was the issue with Marty being in 1985
You made one little mistake in this video.
?.if he didn't have the technology to fix the car how did he get the technology to make a train into a time machine?
@@kriscynical you've done well... Very well. ✌️
@@tommiepattonkendrickiii1617 Thank you! What can I say, I absolutely love these movies and have been a Backer for 30+ years now. lol
One thing I never got was how did lightning fry the time circuits when they used lightning previously to get the energy needed?
The more important question is how did the lighting make him time jump, he was not going 88 MPH
davelanger true. He was just floating there.
She took his pants off, chases him the entire time, and says she has parked before, does anyone else see my point and the counter to those points that still don't make sense??
how many times is Looper going to keep making these bttf time line videos? this like the 7th on in last 4 years.
One of my favorites too next to the original star wars trilogy
Doc used Western Union giving the date, time, and location to deliver the letter to Marty.
Why didn't you mention the alternate 1955 timeline F? It's where the mailman gives the letter to Marty.
A lot of small details incorrect in this. One: old Biff traveled back to November 12th 1955, not November 5th.
Has anyone else noticed how similar Marty's girlfriend and mother look alike? Intended? Or just that the two actresses look very similar and they just went with it?? Seriously that's pretty heavy as Marty would say.
Claudia Wells (from the first movie) or Elisabeth Shue (from parts 2 and 3)? IMO, neither one of them looks that much like Lea Thompson.
I just finished the trilogy for the 100th time yesterday....weird
i think you messed up a touch. from what you said and the clips it’s as if doc decided to stay BECAUSE clara left him. that makes no sense. it was that he stayed because he loved her but marty convinced him to go back so he told clara goodbye and she didn’t believe he was a time traveler so she broke up with him so doc now had no reason to stay anyways but then clara decided to stay with him and the end.
Plus, Doc had drained the fuel and unless he had saved it, there was no gasoline to be found in 1885, while it was plentiful in 1955, plus the tires had rotted, again no tires in 1885, but plenty in 1955, etc. etc.
There are so many inaccuracies (and/or assumptions that never are substantiated, like that it's specifically Burger King that Dave works at) that I'm wondering if the person writing this video even has seen the movies more than once and less than 20 years ago 🙄
Also, Lorraine's changed attitude towards Jennifer is more likely due to the fact that she's not bitter and depressed anymore, so because she is now happy in her life, she also has a much more benevolent attitude towards her kids and their dating life.
10:16 so Getrude Tanner would have been Bufford "Mad Dog's" daughter in law
The Greatest Sci-Fi trilogy ever made!
Outta time. I'll watch this later.
Well he was old and achy. If he changed the past them he would have a better future.
like i said earlier, from extended version i watched some time ago, old biff kinda slowly fades into nothingness after exiting de lorean. his corrupt 1985 version might've not live long enough apparently, tho we might never know how.
Doc didn't need to read the letter, he already knew, he knows of his past, present and future
Nope, because the doc in 1885 was the older doc from 1985 not the doc from 1955
I gotta watch 3 again because Doc ended up in 1885 and hid the Delorean then Marty travels to that time in a Delorean so now there's 2 cars, right? 🤔
d fernandez you’re actually right... but maybe (just spitballing here) Doc used the parts of the second Delorean to make the Time traveling train 🤷🏽♂️
@@utimaleghemi that makes sense
d fernandez just thought about it again... yes, there were two at the time in 1885 but if Doc messed with the second Delorean Marty would never have had a car to travel with in 1955 to 1885. Arrr!, time travel movies can be brain cracking at times.
Great explanation thankyou. Just don't know why they changed the Jennifer actress after part 1.
its very rare for me to see an old movie having alot of plot twist...
Don't forget Marty helped out someone outside of Hill Valley...... Chuck Berry's career w/ one song ....3 years before it's supposed to be out ......
They should reboot this movie and modernise it. The original is absolutely amazing and yes, I think a lot of people would disagree with me because it's a classic film but I always wish there was more movies and a lot more could be done these days as the cinematic scene has advanced significantly.
