that, my friend, means you're not quick enough somewhere in the sequence. This oki setup is "true", meaning that it is tight, with no gap anywhere between sequences. I would advise the following: 1) make sure to display the frame data bar at the bottom of the screen, and 2) look for any gap in the first row of frame data (i.e. your character's frame data). You should see one or more grey/black square(s) in there, and that's where the gap is. Work on closing that gap and you will be able to get the DR x bHP, bHP sequence to combo. The gap is likely right after the qcbLK, after the DR, or after the first bHP. If it's after the DR, then you will not see a gap because it's a cancel that can be done sooner or later, however. Hope this helps :)
I know the knowledge here is good. But I am bad and need a slow motion guide with arrows and narration to explain concepts because everything still looks like gibberish to me. Imma try and read it anyway cause I need to improve tho
Yeah, I realized over time that the guides I'm making are better suited for intermediate & advanced players. That's okay. Your best friend is Google. Check out fighting games terminology if you're unsure about something and you'll easily find resources explaining them. Happy training!
I would expect it to still work. They did not change bHP's startup frames so unless they changed its active frames, it should still work. Did you try it with drive rush after the qcbLK ender?
I haven't played modern myself, but from my understanding, you can't cr.LK with it so I guess you might not be able to use some of the tech showcased here. Time to learn classic! You can do it!

it takes time and practice, it might not happen overnight. If you keep trying, you'll get it eventually, I'm sure :)
