How to Rebuild Vaporesso XROS Mesh Coil with Coil Master RBK | Rewick Tutorial

- Coil Master now releases new RBK for Vaporesso XROS. It's a 0.8ohm mesh coil, will refresh your pod after rebuild.

I've just rebuilded my XROSS 0.6Ω pod that stopped working after 8 months of use with Vapjoy rebuild kit which is 0.8Ω following this video. It was a bit more challenging because they didn't gave me any tools with it so I used knife to open the pod and pliers with small rod to open the coil base. Also I used 5 layers of cotton instead of 4 and everything works as should, I'm very happy with the result so thanks for this very good video tutorial 👍.
0.6 worked for 6 month? but everyone said to me change it after 2-3 weeks of use

Should rewick weekly IMO. For most people it's just easier to get a new pod vs having to mess with it for an hour just to have it leak cuz they damaged the gasket
Hey Coil Master, first of all, great video! I tried following your steps to replace the coil on my Vaporesso XROS Mini using the same kit you used, but I seem to have hit a snag. I followed everything carefully, but my coil replacement didn't work as expected. When i insert the pod back into the vape, it blinks green one time, but when i try to get a puff, it blinks red 5 times. Any idea what could've gone wrong? Your insight would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!
Probably you did minor mistake with the mesh, just re-do it carefully and don’t use cotton from that packages just buy another premium cotton from them if you want similar flavour like new catridge
I would say I would just buy the pods and forget doing all this work but with the coils being 7 dollars and some time to change vs 22 damn dollars for the whole pod now at our local shop I might have to look into this
Can you maybe put a link in description for that rebuild kit? I'm currently on their site going through each kit, its a little tedious. Otherwise great video, will be referencing this in the future

@@daisybelle2336 regular coil rebuild kits have the pole to wrap your coils at different diameters and you can buy kanthal or other coil wire in spools as well. And cotton as well. Then just do the same thing but work more precise and copy your old coil without making any mistakes. Coil building on a VV mod or coil tester is the best way to test your coils but can't be done with pods that I know of so just use a mod with protections and you should be good to test try a spare or used up pod.
I'm waiting for caliburn g too. Vapejoy seems a bit hard. But I'll wait for coil master release.
It looks so easy here... I'm rebuilding my xros rn. All of the holes inside wasn't aligned to the outer hole.

I built mine and I put a mark with pliers to the bottom piece to align the wicking holes.

Hey! Since you’re so good with the pods maybe you could help me with ideas for a problem I’m having with mine? I have the same vape and lately I’m having problems with the new pods refusing to connect so I can actually use them. At least 1 out of every 4 pods just won’t work, and all I get is the red light. Not only that, sometimes I’ll pull one out to refill it and then it won’t reconnect when I put it back in. I’ve tried swabbing with a touch of rubbing alcohol to clean the vape itself and the pods. The vape isn’t dirty so I just don’t know what the problem is. Some pods work just fine so I’m inclined to think the vape itself is ok. Frustrating to say the least. Thanks!
bro i had the same problem, just take a small piece of aluminum foil and put one on each connection of the vape with the pod, that should solve the problem, this is because the metal pins of the vape do not reach to touch the pod

it will work on any pod or coil, you dont have to buy specific kits for devices, just get the resistance you want & make sure when you wrap, the mesh legs dont go all around & touch eachother, & make sure only 1 leg touches the metal on the coil cage or you will get short errors, & please dont copy this guy here, you will get cotton taste galore, you can use normal vape cotton & it tastes so much nicer/cleaner, this cotton is shit & goes all brown & nasty after about 10 hits, also tastes like shit. i guarantee this guys coil just tasted like cotton every hit.

Use a knife and roll a couple of times and it will separate. I don’t have rebuilt kit tool and this is how I did it.

opening the black thingy is not as easy as in video, rn still stuck like a step sister

update: after fail it several times (8x to be exact), either the coil chamber bended or leaking after putting all together, i managed to recoil without issue.
tips. opening the black thingy is so hard, i use steel tweezer to grip small leverage in cartridge and screwdriver to pull the V shape toll for better hold. i use blunted needle to push back red rubber if i inserted it too deep. i also use steel tweezer to open coil chamber because its thinner and stronger.
average time to recoil: 1 hour
my suggestion to production team: please make a wider side hole in your metal plate because that thing can be used to grip the little leverage in cartridge for better hold
