- Welcome all to my very first UA-cam video upload. My name is Heidi Q. and I decided to do something fun for other estheticians or aspiring estheticians in the beauty industry and begin with you all going through my 'stuff' in this Spa Room/Esthetician Room Tour.
This also doubles as my lash room, which I will do a separate video of my lashing cart and the products I use.

Yes, I have but that is at the tallest part of the pole. I have a friend who has the exact same one and the pole goes higher so I think it's defective. lol....

Thanks for sharing! Do you happen to have any videos on costs/profit margins? I’m trying to better understand what I’d like to offer in the future (like, for example, what it costs you for lashes and what you charge - or same for facials).

Yes, I can make a video on this! Just a side note though it will depend on skill level, location and the type of clients you have. I have a minimum pricing I wish to implement. So I think I am more than qualified to make $50 an hr at a job. So I charge $50 for a fill and it goes up from there ( I can do a lash fill in less than an hr.).
As far as profit margins they are much better when you do lashes vs skincare. Skincare has a huge start up cost and continued cost.

Do you have a recommendation for where to get trained for lashes? The esthetics course I am looking at doesn’t include it and I’m definitely interested in adding that skill 💕
@@kristareganmusic Yes, most esthetics courses honestly do not train you in lash extensions. Mine taught me what it is and that is about it. You can find someone on IF who teaches a course but find someone who's work is really good and are establishes. You could also try some of these larger companies like Bella lash. They offer the material to train you online, but it can be pricey. I will try and post more lash videos soon as well. Some tips and tricks.

Hello there Angela! My rent is around $650 for 250 sq. ft. / with taxes. This is considered cheap for central FL. South Florida you will be paying much more. Hope this helps!

Hey hun I got my towels from Ikea! the cheapest ones too like $1.99. They are cotton, thin enough to really stack them in the cabby. I have had them for like 3 years already. Others from like amazon fall apart or aren't able to be bleached.

Go for the county tech school they are the most affordable and you can possible get grant money to go. My schooling was free!

I got that table from Amazon actually. I added a memory foam topper, a fleece heating pad, and a vinyl cover. It is very comfortable.

I cannot remember off the top of my head, but I get the downloadable forms from Etsy. Just search "esthetician forms", "Lash forms", "Wax forms" etc. They have everything its so awesome.

Hello Hun! I got the fridge a couple of years ago on the Walmart website. It was about $150. It been good to me so far !
How do you use water? Where is the sink?
I use 2 metal bowels instead of a sink. And I keep a container of distilled water close by. I have had room before with a sink. It is still manageable even if you don't. Hope this helps.

All of the digital intake forms I use are from Etsy ! Just type in what kind you need and they have it.

What is all the licenses/documents you have displayed?
I had my Salon License, City and County Business Taxes, and Inspection Report. My actual Cosmetology license I had to keep above where I physically work. If I was a stand alone building they would have required a fire inspection report as well.

They care where those are displayed which is near where guests enter so it can be seen right away, and like if there is a trash with a lid, sheets are in a covered cabinet, implements are in labeled closed containers, and disinfectants. That is a good video topic though.
