I love your finishes, Harriet Elizabeth Coe and Jessie Watson, and the Dorothy one are so beautiful! You’ve finished so many huge pieces and your stitching is amazing. I always enjoy your videos. Stay well!
Great job on finishing a few older wips!! Whoo hoo! All of your work is just beautiful and I can’t get over how fast you stitch... makes me seem extra slow 😂 Dorothy Walpole is just spectacular.. the flame stitch band!! So different from anything I have done . And The FLOWERS!! Well it’s just gorgeous ! Great job!
Hi Nicole, Great video! Love your sampler choices. You always have beautiful threads and fabric for each one. Love seeing you n FT. Glad to see your new house and that you are happy!
Hello Nicole! So many beautiful pieces, thank you sharing!!! You make me want to start my Mary Barres!!!! It’s so gorgeous 😍😍 Your Jessie Watson turned out beautifully! Happy stitching!🧵❤️
I loved that you decided to “start something new instead of finishing more WIPs”!! Too fun. LOL. Your finishes are so beautiful, and I love seeing your progress on your WIPs and new starts. Good information on the higher count fabrics too; thank you sharing that. I always love to see your beautiful kitties too. Hugs and happy stitching..................
Love your videos and can't wait to see some on your walls. They're so beautiful it would be a shame not to display but I understand the keeping it new feel to the house. See you next time
Oh my...my...my....miss walpole is out of this world!!!!!!!!! I am speechless...colors,patterns,specialty stitches are totally amazing!!! Congratulations 🎉
Your Dorothy Walpole is lovely! I can't imagine doing all those eyelets. I'm currently working on 2 samplers both of which have quite a number of eyelets and they are driving me batty! My eyelets look great but just the doing of them - OMG! I also am currently kitting up Jane Southward because - pink!
I was so happy when you said "should I finish my WIPS or should I start something new? So I decided to start something new!" I enjoy watching your Flosstubes!!!
Always glad when your notification pops up. You’re so inspiring. Love Jessie and Harriet. I need to get those out too. But the ribbon 🥇🏆definitely goes to Dorothy Walpole. She’s a true masterpiece. I have one of those 9 year scarlet letters too. Ann Kirby. I may drag her out throw some more eyelets on her. Her whole border is eyelets. Thanks for visiting and sharing. It’s skyways cool to see people I followed their blogs since forever now do videos.
Nicole!!!! Yiiiippppeee! You finished Dorothy! I KNOW how excited you must be. You’ve intrigued me stitching on 56 ct with 100/3’s... Can you stitch it in hand? If so, I may want to give it a go.... As always, you’re making us Carolina girls proud with your amazing videos~ Keep up the great work gf! ♥️🥰♥️
So glad you mentioned the sampler wall. Never commented about it before didn't want to come across as too nosey...Display all your beautiful and hard work. I would love to have one.❤
Nicole, you just keep amazing me with your talent. I love Harriet Elizabeth Coe. Beautiful. I also love Ginger 😂. Look forward to your next video. Be well and safe.
Congrats on finishing some WIPs. I've been working on that, too, but there are so many people working on wonderful pieces that I have in my stash that I'm starting to struggle a bit.
Nicole how about hanging samplers in a hallway? That’s where I have a lot of mine. It’s a shame your beautiful work is not on display. Really enjoy your videos.
All of your finishes are BEAUTIFUL! And you finally pushed me over the edge to order Ann Gott. I’ve been trying to resist but just couldn’t do it anymore. 😆
Your stitching is absolutely beautiful! I really like seeing what fabric and threads you are using as it helps me with ordering since I don't have an LNS. I love Jessie Watson and Harriet's Elizabeth Coe. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful work! I'm in one of my manic stitching moods. What to do next? What to finish? Start a new? New is wonderful 3 days in I'm ready to finish an early start. It's just another manic stitcher. I think I'm in good company though. 😌
Beautiful finishes. I am stitching Alice Bierton on 56 count with 100/3 (499) and absolutely love it but you are right, the lighting helps out a lot. I ended up getting the 100/3 for Ann Morison as well after seeing photos. How are you storing the 100/3?
I don’t have a lot right now, so they’re just in the bags with the project. I may look into getting one of those acrylic make up holders with the drawers in the future.
You know that there is an app called XStitch that does all that you have created in the multiple google apps. And you don’t have to mess with resizing photos. This app has all the thread manufacturers and all their varieties of threads. This app costs about 5 bucks and it’s way worth it
No, when I first started in the late 80’s it was all Leisure Arts and then I progressed to Lavender and Lace and Mirabilia designs. In the late 90’s I discovered Shepherd’s Bush samplers and that’s where my love of all things samplers started and now my passion is reproduction samplers.
Beautiful stitching! I am going to start Ann Morison and I've been trying to decide on which threads to use. I have the chart and linen, so I'm anxious to get started. Where did you purchase the 100.3 silks? I haven't used those silks before and I think I want to try them. Thanks! Enjoyed watching!
Hi Nicole . love your beautiful stitching .You are so prolific ! Have you ever stitched Elizabeth Beavan 1835 by Hands Across The Sea? I have not been able to find any floss tuber who has stitched it .. I have started and would love to see someone else progress .. thx Jocelyn from melbourne Australia
They are 10 x 14 - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CKRXSN4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. The tags are just plain key tags that can be found anywhere. I got mine at Walmart - www.walmart.com/ip/Avery-Metal-Ring-Key-Tags-1-1-4-Diameter-White-25-Tags-12128/756748046
Beautiful as always! I am wondering if you have a favorite thread to stitch with? I'm thinking of trying to switch to one type of thread, but I love them all so much, I don't know which it would be!
Oh listen too In The Heart Of The Dark Wood by Billy Coffey.....it’s my favorite book. It’s mystery, love, friendship. As in each episode you post, your work is beautiful. Off now to place a Crossstitch order.
Back in the 18th century the letters I and J were interchangeable. Here’s an article I found about why there is no J street in Washington DC (scroll to the bottom) www.snopes.com/fact-check/no-way-no-jay/. There are tons of samplers out there that would be great for beginners. Just pick something you love!

Thank you Nicole for the tip on linen edges. Give Ginger a pet for me.
Love your stitching. WhT kind of magnifier do you use. So you don’t use a hoop either. Just stitch on linen.
I just received a bunch of mesh bags too. I like them because they are see through and I can see my WIPs at a glance
Beautiful work! I'm in one of my manic stitching moods. What to do next? What to finish? Start a new? New is wonderful 3 days in I'm ready to finish an early start. It's just another manic stitcher. I think I'm in good company though. 😌
Yes, that’s me! LOL! You are definitely not alone!

You always do such beautiful work! Such an inspiration. Have you always done samplers?
No, when I first started in the late 80’s it was all Leisure Arts and then I progressed to Lavender and Lace and Mirabilia designs. In the late 90’s I discovered Shepherd’s Bush samplers and that’s where my love of all things samplers started and now my passion is reproduction samplers.
Wonderful stitched and wow....they are great! So, you do most in hand?
Yes, I mainly stitch in hand.
Your needles are smoking .!
I have to pull out Susanna lynch and get her started. Thanks for sharing
I got them at Hoop and Frame.
Hi Nicole . love your beautiful stitching .You are so prolific ! Have you ever stitched Elizabeth Beavan 1835 by Hands Across The Sea? I have not been able to find any floss tuber who has stitched it .. I have started and would love to see someone else progress .. thx Jocelyn from melbourne Australia
I’m sorry, I have not stitched Elizabeth Beavan.
Your Dorothy Walpole is gorgeous❣️Two questions: what size are your Amazon Mesh Bags? And, what tags are you using that are hanging from the bags?
I’m the same way. I like a lot of different threads for different reasons!
Oh listen too In The Heart Of The Dark Wood by Billy Coffey.....it’s my favorite book. It’s mystery, love, friendship. As in each episode you post, your work is beautiful. Off now to place a Crossstitch order.
thanks for the recommendation - I will look for it!
Why is the letter “J” left out of some samplers? I am new to samplers and linen. I’m trying to decide on a project to try. Any suggestions??
Back in the 18th century the letters I and J were interchangeable. Here’s an article I found about why there is no J street in Washington DC (scroll to the bottom) www.snopes.com/fact-check/no-way-no-jay/. There are tons of samplers out there that would be great for beginners. Just pick something you love!
Hi Nicole! Do you take your finished work to the drycleaners every time?
No, I don’t wash or clean my pieces when I’m finished with them. Just iron.
LOVE all the starts and finishes! I started MFE’s Hiragana Sampler for #StitchAsia. Great to see Ginger.😻
Wow just wow you are amazing 🇮🇪❤️🙃Angela in ireland
Do you use a floor stand when you stitch?
No. When I use a scroll frame I hold it in my arms.
Congrats on Dorothy Walpole. She is gorgeous!
Just curious how do you store your floss on those rings
I show in my most recent video how I store my DMC on the thread drops.
Jessie Watson is so pretty. Should the bottom right corner have something more in it?
it looks like the person that stitched the model put the year in it. I didn’t do that.
