Tae Hyun was adopted when he was 6 years old. The mom was pregnant when he was 9, so he had this idea that they would return him back to the orphanage once the baby comes. He was watching a movie of a couple who abandoned the robot child they had as a substitute for their son, who was frozen because of illness. The mom had a sister that was way younger than her and she was a student when he was 9. She visited the house to make him company and while watching the movie, he talked to himself and said, “When the baby comes, will they send me back?” The aunt told him not to say that because her sister wouldn’t do something like that and told him to be happy for them because he has been like that for months, making everyone worried about him. She also told him that he knows how long they have wanted a child and he answered that he knows and that he also knows they only adopted him because they couldn’t have a child, so he said, “I hope the baby never comes” and the aunt slapped him, so he ran and went out of the house.
He was outside and scared they would never come to find him, afraid they would hate him and send him back to the orphanage. The mom was looking for him and when she saw him, she screamed his name and crossed the street without looking and someone riding a motorcycle hit her, she had a miscarriage. Her thoughts are showed like, “I can’t like you anymore” and “Will I be able to live with myself… now that I can’t like you anymore?” and when he was at the hospital with the dad visiting her, he asked her if she hated him 😢 Back at home, she was not the same, she was depressed, like it was the end of the world and she just died, he thought she was asleep on the couch, so he asked himself, “Would she have survived if I’d acted faster?”. Then the aunt told him it was his fault and asked him if he was happy now that everything worked out the way he wanted it to. He didn’t want that. She was blaming him at the funeral telling him “bastard” “devil” with people calming her down telling he’s only 9 years old. That’s why in the series the aunt suddenly appeared telling him he killed everyone, still blaming him 😔
@@IWriteWholeAssParagraphs thank you very much for the summary. what a tragic personal backstory. that was around 9yrs ago or how old is he today? things must have gotten way better for him since then, haven't they? if he lost his biological parents that early, got adopted and only enjoyed 3yrs being loved by his surrogate mum and everything went downhill from that accident onwards, then he surely couldn't be such an amicable and nice young man, right? he would have been in great danger of becoming a difficult person to deal with, anti-social, gruff or worse.
