Hi Sean just discovered your channel and I like these videos and your style of filmmaking very natural I talk at the beginning and end of my walks too and waffle but I like it the Way you do it now I’m a local lad and done lots of walks in and around urban areas as well as in the National Parks I know you get a lot of rubbish on urban walks I like that you walk with your family me too but I do a lot on my own keep up the good work mate atb to you and your family Glenn
Glenn’s Walks Thankyou so much for your kind comments Glenn. We do try to get everyone involved and have a laugh whilst were walking, it makes the walks much more enjoyable. Its very rare that I go out by myself now, theres always someone willing to be part of the adventure. Theres an infinte number of walks in Yorkshire so we will have plenty more to come lol. Thankyou again 👍
Another good watch Sean!! I think an advisory should have been put on before your soup 😫😫though. Rhubarb, ginger and parsnip soup Sean is dirty. Keep Trekking!!
You should walk the old train line that used to come out of Garsdale train station and the Settle on Carlisle. You should also walk a train line that used to come out of Appleby train station. There used to be a station called Appleby East. So if you could at least do something related to railways it will be much appreciated. 😁 😁 😁
45596 Bahamas Hi, Thankyou for watching. I will certainly take your suggestion into consideration, I myself would love to be able to do a walk where Incan take in the sights of a working steam train. In fact on the way back home from the recent Settle walk we did, we actually saw one. They are beautiful machines.
I hate to see rubbish missen, I detest it even. That said, it did look like a lovely little place, a place that I will have to visit one day missen. I would love to know what your daughter was thinking in the first few minutes of your video.:-) Getting lost again? lol. hey, you have just got to keep doing those kinds of things, it makes your video not only special but, more to the point, it makes them more realistic:-)Protein bars? you've got me hooked on them now but, been a typical Yorkshire lad, well, I pay a quid for four lol. keep them coming guys. Cheers. steve.oh, that is what I wanted to asked you, does anyone recognise you from youtube now?
South Leeds Buzz Hi mate, I actually filmed myself asking what could be done about the rubbish in that area (but it didn’t make the final cut). I suppose with enough volunteers it could be cleaned up or perhaps the local council could do something about it but I suspect it’s too costly for little reward really. It’s just sad that they create a viewpoint for what could be a lovely relaxing area to sit and enjoy for half hour but who wants to look at a mural of dirty plastic bags caught in the bushes and trees. My daughter is used to me now, she enjoys the adventure too. As for anyone recognising me? Not yet, it would be such a nice feeling if someone does stop me and say hi but I’m under no illusion that the channel will become popular enough. The main thing is we enjoy doing the videos and having a laugh at the same time. Most of the viewers are work colleagues and family anyway. Doing a coastal walk this weekend SLB, so keep checking back mate, should be done by next week sometime. Also, what’s your views on the end reviews in the car? Do you think they should stay or try something different?
@@theyorkshiretrekker7342I think that you need to keep making changes to keep things looking fresh, and that is something you are doing brilliantly now, methinks. Some thiings though over time become your signiture, the things thats make your video , yours, and the end of walk review is one of those things. You do look very tired though while you are making some of them sometimes, only somethimes though, as we all would after a long walk, so, maybe you could do the review after you have got home and you've had time to relax?I would keep doing though, becuase it is something that we all do afrer a long walk, we talk about the highs and the lows of our walk. The one thing that you doint appear to be doing though and that is driving traffic to your youtube channel. I would create a facebook page, and and Start an intagram account and use them both to drive traffic to your channel. Your videos are brillinat and more people need to see them, methinks.
