I am happy to own a house just beside the hike in the village. When I was a teenager I always was alone up there observing wild animals and in winter racing with the skis down. Now hundreds of people are up there to enjoy the incredible view. I am glad for them - they are all happy.
I admire your attitude. I am not sure how I would feel about the change in popularity. Switzerland is full of so many amazing places, yet some have become too popular. Masses of people always have a negative effect on the outdoors and we often try to seek out lonely places for our own amusement. Some of the best moments we had traveling where alone and far from any other soul around. So often I would love to experience some of these places in the way you describe them. Observing wild animals, especially. The moments when we got to experience our first capricorn in the wild, it was just incredible. With more people around in the mountains, these moments become rarer and rarer. In any case. Thank you for your comment and for watching our video.
My solution is the following: I take the last cable car up and then it is quiet up there and animals are coming out. Then in the dark I have to walk down. Kind regards Marc
This hike is absolutely breathtaking! The views are incredible, and I can't get enough of the stunning mountains and alpine lakes. Switzerland never disappoints! 😍🏔💙
Switzerland really never disappoints. Have you been around here, hiking? The trails are so well maintained and offer so much variety. We are glad you enjoyed our little trip. Thank you for watching 😊
Wow! What an absolutely gorgeous place to go hiking! The views there are incredible. I love all of the picturesque mountains and alpine lakes. I would love to do that ridge hike if I am ever in Switzerland. 👍😊
It is one of the most beautiful hikes you can do around here. The cable cars on either end also make it really accessible, so you can enjoy the views with very little effort. Just make sure you are sure-footed as the paths are very narrow. Thank you for watching and have a great weekend.
It’s clear why this one is so popular. At times, I would have preferred the calm of your recent trip to Arran. But there are moments where we could just sit down and enjoy the view.
Oh wow . I love the two clips on one screen, that is so amazing. Beautiful mountain and landscape. I would love to ride the cable car to go up at the top and enjoy the magnificent views. Oh no, the stairs is hard to climb. I can see some snowy spot on top of the mountain. Thank you so much for this virtual hike. I love it. Have a wonderful weekend. Best regards, Amie🇳🇿
Thank you for this positive feedback Amie. Our split screen teaser seems to work, as we get quite a few people enjoying that one. The ride to the tob is already great for an amazing view, but for the best experience one has to take the hike. Especially around the midpoint of the hike, the views are incredible. Luckily it is only a short hike, but the steps are exhausting at altitude. Have a wonderful week!
@@HikeForHappiness It makes me tired just for watching those steps to go up. Thank you so much for this info. I really enjoyed the hike. Wish I was there.
Danke. Ich lerne langsam besser Parallaxen zu finden. Nur die Transitions machen mir noch immer Schwierigkeiten. Hast du ein paar Tipps was du machst um am Ende gute Transitions zu haben? E.g. immer eine Überblendung am Ende?
You visit some of the most beautiful places, those views are absolutely breathtaking. Hiking in Switzerland is a goal ours and while I've never heard of this trail, I just added it to our notes on Switzerland. Incredible footage and I love the way you edited it together. . - Andrew, Candice & Riley 🐾
I am sure you will love the hiking opportunities here in Switzerland. If you are looking at more inspiration, we also have a video on Gelmersee, which offers a real thrillride with the funicular. We will also soon visit Pizol. The 5 lake hike over there is very beautiful, but also a proper mountain hike. Zermatt and the Matterhorn offer great opportunities as well. Thank you for watching and let us know if you need some tips on Switzerland.
The hike from Fronalpstock to Klingenstock is an absolute treat for nature lovers and adventure seekers. be immersed in the breathtaking beauty of the Swiss Alps. Stay connected, NEW friend here 5:41
Thank you both ☺️. This is one of the most scenic trails you can walk that isn’t actually an alpine trail. In terms of view for efforts, you can hardly be better. We are very glad you enjoyed it with us 😊.
Wow this looks a hike right up my street. Well except until you mentioned crowds but that's to be expected if chair lifts etc can get people up there. Still it makes it a lot harder to get lost up there. I could certainly put up with the crowds for immense views like that and the trail looked fabulous. I need to book that trip to Switzerland next year. Thanks for sharing 👍
I think getting lost on hiking trails in Switzerland is quite hard. They are so well maintained and signage is great. The white-red-white are even so accessible that many people that go really shouldn't be there. They had a campaign recently in Switzerland that spoke about those part not being the same as an afternoon stroll and require mountain experience in parts. Here you sure will find quite a few people, but there are other hikes that are a lot less traveled and still offer great views. Have you seen ua-cam.com/video/a39oFjwTljA/v-deo.html for example? Spectacular views as well (though not as great as here). Adventurous ride in a open car funicular. Nice one day tour.
hi, Mr. & Mrs. Hike for Happiness OHG, such a creative intro. 0:21 Like spread screen that allure the audience. I like the contrast between the yellow and blue flowers and the snow-covered mountains as if it is a celebration of the summer months, vivid and lively wow, the hiking trail is quite narrow in some places. How long is the trail? No offence, I think there is a very little gap between two song 4:17 you may try the first song fade away and bring the second song gradually raising the volume like you did. If the mood of the music is different, it will be tricky, I reckon. I am giving you 100 out of 10.hahaha Thank you for sharing this stunning hike. I would love to visit someday, Mr. & Mrs. H4H, ciao
Hi Ms.Kayak7Seas, The intro style seems to really work. So much positive feedback for that, despite being the easiest of our changes. We sure hope it will help people to stay on the video given a varied look at what's to come. The funicular you see will take you up to the twon of Stoos. At parts the video is a bit sped up, but you will go through the tunnel. The writingts indicate the incline of the track, up to 110% incline, which is a "Weltrekord" or world record. If you ever go, the view out of the back is so much better though. The crosses on top of the mountains in Switzerland are called summit cross and they are not related to people dying. It is a religious symbol and simply marks the highest point of a summit. By tradition, they have to be brought up the mountain by foot. The trail is 4.7km and it is recommended to go with the stream as it is so narrow. The ridge-walks in Switzerland usually are very narrow and you need to be sure-footed and not afraid of hights to enjoy them. We also noticed the gap, but sadly only when it was too late. I wish UA-cam would allow updates to the video by replacing the audio. That would allow to fix so many things after the fact... Thank you for your insightful comment. We are really glad you enjoyed this one. It was a spectacular day and we had this one on our list for way too long. All the best and have a great week!
@@HikeForHappiness I am glad to hear you have great positive back. No worries about audio. I just happened to notice and most PPL probably not even hear it at all. Sorry I don't mean to discourage you. This is a perfect documentary, Mr. & Mrs. H4H. Bravo!
Wir fliegen noch wie auf Madeira mit der Mini 3 Pro. War sehr am überlegen mit der 3 Pro, aber kann das bei meinen Anfängerflügen nicht rechtfertigen 🤪
There are segments of this trail that have steep drops to the side, but by Swiss standards I wouldn't consider it dangerous. You can see how narrow the trail gets in the video, you shouldn't expect anything worse than what is shown. Be aware though of the time when you do it, as snow can make the trail a lot more dangerous. We would only recommend going mid summer and later, as we still found snow on Klingenstock.
