I think Yuji will almost lose, nearly everyone will die, but eventually, as Sukuna is about to kill Yuji (the last one left,) Megumi will hold back Sukuna from with in for just long enough for Yuji to land a killing blow.

Sukuna's cursed tool being confiscated somewhat adds to his mindset being right. Yorozu gave Sukuna that tool, and he is the only person she would ever give something like that to. This makes Sukuna's actions in the Heian Era and his mindset gain more substance as the "correct" mindset as through his overwhelming selfishness, it's almost as if the world itself bends over backwards for Sukuna. Kenjaku died the moment he allowed his dreams to be interrupted in his fight with Takaba. Basically Kenjaku's death (although currently unconfirmed) shows that as soon as Kenjaku betrayed his selfishness, he opened himself up for death and Yuta took advantage of that fact
It'd be so funny if all the sukuna glazing we've been seeing is just the build up for his absolute downfall, and gege is writing it this way to make sure the king loses a pretty pathetic way... Either that or gege too horny for them four arms
I imagine it goes like this: Yuji uses his domain expansion: Benevolent Alleyway which is the complete dead opposite of malevolent shrine in the fact that instead of multiplying the users c.t to absolutely unfair heights it instead puts everyone caught within its barrierless radius to be put at average human level strength and speed,all cursed energy and cursed techniques are made completely null, and all cursed objects are reduced to being just normal items leading to Sukuna getting out right jumped and beaten to death with fists and kicks alone by Yuji,Nobara, and Megumi in that fashion.

Considered the perfect vessel for Sukuna that casually managed to keep him inside of his body, only being allowed to leave by command. Pulled up in the manga with a rather weird look. Fought Sukuna with no fear at all and tanked his attacks and STILL lived after all that. Sukuna himself said he felt something from Itadori's punches. And most importantly He is the MC there has to be a way where he wins even if he dies in the process too

Naw. It makes perfect sense why Sukuna is so OP. His body is literally deformed to be optimal for Jujutsu. He gave no fucks about his appearance. His the top for a reason. That's why Gojo lost. Sukuna will do anything to survive and become better for himself. No else but him alone. Which is super satisfying to me.

Gojo was thought to have perfect defense, but once you have counter to it, he died, twice even considering his first death is at the hand of a 'monkey without CE'. All Sukuna has is just one of the best offensive-based CT and excellent battle sense, but he has been shown on multiple occasion he could take damage. Gojo alone almost defeated his first phase, Kashimo's lightning beast damaged him to force him back to his true form. What made Sukuna terrifying was because he knew he could be beaten, but he just simply loves to see the amusing thing in front of him or out of respect to what his 'challenger' would do. If we're going by logic, he should've killed everyone immediately with cleave or DE but he even let Higuruma summon executioner sword. His mindset and overconfidence is what gave his biggest strength and weakness. Which suits perfectly since confidence matter in jujutsu battle. Sukuna, despite everything has always been a calculated risk-taker, it's just so far his calculation is spot on. But if there's unknown variable, there's always chance to beat him. Just like Kenjaku was brought down by Takaba whom Kenjaku has 0 knowledge of him about (although I do feel the execution was a bit lacking since it felt weak that the primary mastermind was brought down by sneak attack, i guess that also add to the irony).
The reason why the cursed tool was confiscated and not sukuna’s technique probably relates to how in the law the weapon of a criminal must be seized first
I seen that a lot but I got a couple issues with it. first, I wouldve been fine if it was it was foreshadowed. But in the real world there is not such thing as CT, it could be considered a weapon in its own right. because after judgeman confiscates it, you still able to fight freely just without it. So even tho I understand it just feels like an asspull
@@godlyomen10it was slightly forshadowed in the yuji fight when it took his cursed energy in place of cursed technique. it showed that it confiscates starting with the "least" important. my problem is that he was just handed the tool a few chapters ago only for this reason, he didnt really use the tool, it kind of came out of nowhere, it seems too convenient.

I don’t think he should be “defeated”. I think something should happen where he is sealed again but not beaten. It would make him truly be like a calamity or natural disaster. Something that came, wrecked shit and went away.
Sukuna being seales would be great, it would also open doors for a future sequel but I doubt Gege would extend the story. But being sealed means that for now, Jujutsu society has time to recover and prepare again when the time Sukuna returns.
Why do yall expect Higuruma to know everything about his technique? The guy has been a sorcerer for like 2 months and half the time he sitting in a bathtub waiting for people to run into him. Even with Miguel he even states how long it took to even create the whip and you expect to see curse tools everywhere? Especially when most sorcerers just use curse energy enhancement on regular weapons. Also you have to remember Kashimo is a reincarnated sorcerer not and awakened one it makes more sense that he would know about curse tools but not the other awakened sorcerers because Kenjaku is even casually taking them out and he hasn't seen to run into anyone with curse tools.

That was my biggest problem with the end of gojo everyone knew he was gonna die but assumed he was gonna do enough for the rest of the cast and now it seems like he didnt even do anything major yeah his domain is down for now but in return he got the strongest attack that can one shot everyone anyway

Realistically it makes sense confiscated the weapon since no violence is allowed in the higaruma domain and the first thing when it comes to arresting someone is to make sure the individual doesn't have a weapon on them other hand smart writing by gege

Keep in mind that if he didn’t have the tool then he would lose Ten Shadows, Cleave/Dismantle, or the fire arrow. He could lose any one of those and still easily win. He gets the tool and loses it for the sake of tension in the fight.

There's no way the main cast is gonna let him split up his essence again. If he dies now, all of his power goes with him, with the exception of his last finger, which was hidden somewhere by Gojo.

I enjoy your breakdown of how little Sukuna has struggled here. I never really thought about it lol. Sukuna definitely needs to be pushed in some way by the end of the story, and not that same sense where apparently even though it looks like he's struggling, he's not. Because Gojo said he couldn't even make Sukuna go all out and he wouldn't have won even if he didn't have ten shadows, which... is honestly pretty insane. Because I don't see how even prime Sukuna would ever win without Mahoraga or the adapted slashes. Overall, I'm betting all my cards on Yuji as Kenjaku said that both he and Sukuna can't co-exist and Yuji will become the eye of the storm and bring about the new era. So, it seems the way Gege is avoiding the asspull allegations is being able to point to Kenjaku and say, "Look! It wasn't asspull because I had Kenjaku breadcrumbing this power up since the beginning!"
I have my money on the heavy hitters(Hakari and Yuta(maybe include Maki there) to beat Sakuna physically, and then Yuji to somehow kill the soul of Sakuna (that killing him too maybe) and saving Megumi (or not).I know it maybe stupid but I see the most cense in this, with that backing up the statements of Gojo (to give his character even better conclusion, with the fact he was right bout them), and the story right now from what I see and connect is pushing there really hard, I don't know if you see that. Sakuna may look invincible right now but two three chapters from here we might be seeing Sakuna getting volleyballed by Yuji, Hakari and Yuta (maybe Maki too).

It shouldn't be a story about hardships n triumph...but more about struggle n pain. Sometimes we can try as hard as we want but things don't always have a happy ending. Life isn't a fairytale, a light isn't always waiting at the end of the tunnel. Having jjk end like every other shonen manga would he a slap in the face to the story being written. A cliché "things always turn out fine in the end" just isn't real
I think that in heian era sukuna not only ate other people and probably jujutsu sorcerers but he ate curses too, and that could be a explanation why he is this mix of sorcerer and curse, and have a lot of jutsus
I dont think yuji should die to kill sukuna. His whole thing was trying to sacrifice himself, somethinh which backfired immensely as his self sacrificial nature us what allowed sukuna to take over megumi. I dont think his very toxic idea of self sacrifice should be fallen back too. It would send a horrible message for the theme of the show and regress his character.
I just want Sukuna to be defeated in some way. No way the story will be interesting if the villain just roflstomp everyone in the end. Also if this end with Sukuna winning, the world will find a way to counter him like how Gojo being born to the world, the curses became buffed as hell.

For a Jujutsu sorcerer your curse technique is a weapon, just like your jutsus in naruto, but I guess it also makes sense to take the visible weapon. Also Its fine to respect the law but I just wish something was stated (not by higuruma cuz he didnt know) but the narrator or something

So what you're saying is Gege just picks and chooses whats convenient for the plot, which is fine but people will be there to criticize it if it feels too contrived. I've seen multiple people lean on this "oh higuruma's domain adheres strictly to modern Japanese law," man no it doesn't it adheres to Gege Akutami's law. For example: Yuji was sentenced to death despite being 15 years old, while the Japanese legal system restricts death penalties to individuals ONLY over the age of 18. Its purely a matter of convenience (without totally breaking the story) for Gege and he tries to sprinkle in dashes of realism here and there to make the story somewhat grounded.
Id like Sukuna to win but understand if he doesnt. Itll be something fresh and new in shonen. Sukuna is also 1000 years old and was stated to be the strongest from the start. Plus the only chance they had to beat Sukuna was when he didnt have his heian era body. Didnt even need Domain expansion in that form because its just too easy
When watching the latest Anime episodes today I found it interesting how often it got highlighted that Nobara is not dead-ish 100%. As we know her CT can hit a curse's soul and damage it like in the fight against Mahito. I was thinking that in order for Sukuna to not consider her a threat in battle they might have decided to keep Yuji among others in the dark about her surviving as otherwise Sukuna would have been aware as well. I don't think she'd take him down or anything but similar to when they tag-teamed Mahito she could create 1 important opening with her surprise appearance.

Everything is building towards Gojo's return..and i mean everything.. Yuji will not kill Sukuna, because having Yuji deal with both him and Kenny is a bit much.. 1)The themes of "love" and what it means to be the strongest.. 2) Gojo's unusual death.off screen 3)Gojo's path to chose ..south or north.. 4) Kashimo doing absolutely nothing.. 5) The rest of the cast doing nothing.. 6) Believe it or not, Sukuna is stronger now than at the beginning of the fight with Gojo thx to the dimensional slashes.. Those slashes by definition can slice up domains..He doesn't even need his DE anymore..There's nothing in the series that can tank it and nobody is fast enough to dodge it. 7) Yuji is the only one that can stand up to him right now, but he will not be the one to finish the job, Gojo will. There are literally 15 hints that he will come back.. The lotus flowers, the 7 steps, Gojo's story is a parallel to Budha's, he's hour shy of reaching the age of 29 , same as when Budha's journey began...even damn Kashimo has a parallel in the story...

I honestly do not know. I am hoping it has something to do with Yuji because it felt like Gege was slowly building Yuji up to be Sukuna's absolute counter. I am more concerned about Kenjaku. I feel like everything is oddly going his way (other than getting his head chopped off by Yuta). If you think about it, who started every arc? Kenjaku was always the mastermind (the brains) but is always conveniently overshadowed by Sukuna (the brawns). Almost like he purposely avoided being the center of attention. I cannot wait to get back to him. I see a lot of people trying to say Sukuna is the main villain, but I think it is Kenjaku. I mean he even admitted that Sukuna is part of his plan or back up plan for if Gojo escaped. I mean he is literally the reason for Sukuna being in this era AND killing Gojo (turning him into a cursed object which Sukuna then copied and transferred to Megumi) It feels like he has everyone in the palm of his hands. I think Takaba AND maybe Yuta WAS/IS Kenjaku's downfall and Yuji AND maybe Megumi is hopefully Sukuna's downfall.

Nobara and yuji will beat up sukunas soul directly out of meguimi. Since they can attack souls directly theyll probably force him out and save megumi and than 3v1 sukuna to a dub.
It hasn't been confirmed but when Sukuna used the gift Yaoyarozu or whatever her name was gave him, he effectively made a wish restoring his heian body. That's why he looks like he does now. And that leads to potentially megumis soul and body basically not being here anymore. Also possibly why we haven't seen any ten shadows anymore.

The curse is putting your wish before anything else(I.e. original Rika on Yuta, Yuji’s grandpa on Yuji, cursed spirits, etc.) Which is why everyone cursed Gojo as the strongest without the death wish behind it. That’s why Gojo lost. Think about what Sakuna said to Jogo before killing him. He’s the power system personified. That’s why he’s plot armored. No reason to complain. Why not dive deeper into why justice(law) in a flawed system like Higaruma stated in his flashback in the Yuji fight wont work on a Curse who’s lives to curse everything.

And from there I could list out all the things you went over (kashimo, confiscation, judgement sword, and Yuji himself) are all things that have people thinking "Surely this is the way they could do it" but Sukuna, whether from raw power or knowledge of sorcery (which is understandably greater than any of these kids alive) has an answer. BUT..... to your point about their being no substance to it. Overcoming Gojo (even if sukuna was holding back) is still no small feat and you said yourself required some big gambles from Sukuna. And from there he's had to defeat everyone trying to gang up on him (just like he did 1,000 years ago) WHILE damaged from the Gojo battle!!! So let's not act like this is Superman just walking his way through a world that has no kryptonite. Sukuna has had to earn all of this and people are STILL (probably rightfully) expecting the heroes to receive some asspull that will beat him. But do you really think there's more substance to that? That the story is somehow better overall if Itadori uno reverse cards Sukuna somehow? Or do you think the story is better if Sukuna struggles so much more to the point that he basically loses but then manages to win through some bullshit? (We already came close to that in the Gojo fight according to most people) I just can't see a scenario right now where things would be more interesting and more memorable than they would be if Sukuna won. Bar one thing, the idea that Gege is so bland as to make Sukuna's possible defeat to be something as simple as "they'll find a way" like most battle manga by just hitting harder or a bs power up, Gege has shown himself to be able to tell his story in a way like no other. If we follow the themes of the manga even something as simple as the power system and not being able to get something without an exchange, it's a big possibility Yuji wins in a way he considers losing, for example having to become something as dark and monstrous as Sukuna to defeat him, leaving him forever changed. All I'm saying is don't right off the possibility that Sukuna's loss could be written as memorably as his possible victory.

It kinda is tho when gege puts in that the only way to kill a 6 eye user is the 10 shadows and sakuna take his soul out of yujis body which we haven't seen before and wasn't hinted at, then also the reincation into his regular body without no damage while he's using the body of megumi who was just destroyed in battle as the shell makes no sense
the things gojo pulled off are stuff we have seen or at least known was possible before and if it isnt either of those two it's not anything major like healing burnt out ct with rct, but sukuna seems to always have a way to get out of situations like what a coincidence higuruma's confiscation takes the cursed tool's ability if the person it was inflicted on has a cursed tool on them and coincidentally sukuna has a cursed tool. Im not saying sukuna should lose to higuruma but atleast gege should let his ct get taken away and maybe we can see what else sukuna has up his sleeve.
The plot is against gojo, he has no plot armor. Gege would never give him that privilege. U speaking out of emotions, we clearly see that the plot is currently favoring Sukuna which isnt a issue but its fine to point it out

I love Sukuna, I just enjoy good writting, which includes substance. If everything just goes its way its pointless. Its never about the characters that I like but for whats better for a story. If you enjoy an ending like this its fine. I just dont see how it makes sense.

Sukuna is the complete opposite, by killing Gojo it gives the readers the feeling that shit go could wrong at any given moments. The main difference is that Gojo is an ally while Sukuna is an enemy.

So how do I think this ends. Simple. Like Naruto basically. Kenjaku betrays Sukuna, it is revealed he had the last finger and somehow this combined with Geto's body somehow makes him able to eat Sukuna's soul as he's mostly a curse, this being done, takes him out of Megumi's body, Kenjaku then uses the cursed power he gained plus everything else to create a world ending curse he can't control. While our cast is fighting this curse we get the return of Gojo somehow, many possibilities, Gojo returns stronger than ever, fights Kenjaku and wins, at the end he sacrifices his life to destroy the world ending curse. When the curse is destroyed this somehow works through Tengen somehow and erases cursed energy from the world therefore fulfilling Yuki's dream too. Yuji then walks over to Megumi and Megumi is suicidal but he cheers him up and tells him he also wants him to live like Megumi said to him in the first episode. Megumi then agrees and the series ends with a reel of the aftermath and Gojo's funeral. That's my best bet. Stuff could still shuffle around but in large I think that's the likely route. It's certainly how I'd end it. But hey there's also the possibility that somehow Yuji and his power alongside these factors above end up releasing the world from curses. Either way I think at the very end the world will be left without cursed energy no matter which way we end up going.
@@godlyomen10 Hard to say, but I think Sukuna's character is quite heavily inspired from Madara and we do have this dynamic between Kenjaku and Sukuna that is somewhat similar to Madara and Black Zetsu. I think the author is flexible and will probably change things as he writes but this is a likely scenario that Kenjaku is going to betray him and it's also likely he planned to do this from the start as if you listen to Kenjaku from the start he says his goal is to create a curse he can't control and also that he needs Gojo sealed and he needs Sukuna made an ally to succeed, we then hear about Tengen how he's mostly a curse, well so is Sukuna, what is Sukuna's body and power is the core, or the seed for Kenjaku's great curse he can't control. What if Gege Akutami was literally copying Naruto here and planned a Kaguya scenario at the very end, because we seem to have a lot of hints and foreshadowing for it in my view. It's all speculation at this point and he can change his plans at any time but it could happen.
You completely forgot to mention the Merger beast that comes outta Kenjaku's plan. Sukuna is everyone's enemy the merger beast should be more than sufficent of a plot device to do some real damage to Sukuna. Infact I theroize that Yugi Consumes the merger beast and finishes Sukuna in a 1v1 to the death. With the potential for Yugi to die with Sukuna in the end also in the cards.

I think Yuji will almost lose, nearly everyone will die, but eventually, as Sukuna is about to kill Yuji (the last one left,) Megumi will hold back Sukuna from with in for just long enough for Yuji to land a killing blow.

Sukuna's cursed tool being confiscated somewhat adds to his mindset being right. Yorozu gave Sukuna that tool, and he is the only person she would ever give something like that to. This makes Sukuna's actions in the Heian Era and his mindset gain more substance as the "correct" mindset as through his overwhelming selfishness, it's almost as if the world itself bends over backwards for Sukuna. Kenjaku died the moment he allowed his dreams to be interrupted in his fight with Takaba. Basically Kenjaku's death (although currently unconfirmed) shows that as soon as Kenjaku betrayed his selfishness, he opened himself up for death and Yuta took advantage of that fact

Fought Sukuna with no fear at all and tanked his attacks and STILL lived after all that. Sukuna himself said he felt something from Itadori's punches.

Naw. It makes perfect sense why Sukuna is so OP. His body is literally deformed to be optimal for Jujutsu. He gave no fucks about his appearance. His the top for a reason. That's why Gojo lost. @@godlyomen10 no idea why people thought sukuna is invincible. Gojo was thought to have perfect defense, but once you have counter to it, he died, twice even considering his first death is at the hand of a 'monkey without CE'.
All Sukuna has is just one of the best offensive-based CT and excellent battle sense, but he has been shown on multiple occasion he could take damage. Gojo alone almost defeated his first phase, Kashimo's lightning beast damaged him to force him back to his true form. What made Sukuna terrifying was because he knew he could be beaten, but he just simply loves to see the amusing thing in front of him or out of respect to what his 'challenger' would do. If we're going by logic, he should've killed everyone immediately with cleave or DE but he even let Higuruma summon executioner sword. His mindset and overconfidence is what gave his biggest strength and weakness. Which suits perfectly since confidence matter in jujutsu battle.
Sukuna, despite everything has always been a calculated risk-taker, it's just so far his calculation is spot on. But if there's unknown variable, there's always chance to beat him. Just like Kenjaku was brought down by Takaba whom Kenjaku has 0 knowledge of him about (although I do feel the execution was a bit lacking since it felt weak that the primary mastermind was brought down by sneak attack, i guess that also add to the irony).
The reason why the cursed tool was confiscated and not sukuna’s technique probably relates to how in the law the weapon of a criminal must be seized first
I seen that a lot but I got a couple issues with it. first, I wouldve been fine if it was it was foreshadowed. But in the real world there is not such thing as CT, it could be considered a weapon in its own right. because after judgeman confiscates it, you still able to fight freely just without it. So even tho I understand it just feels like an asspull
@@godlyomen10it was slightly forshadowed in the yuji fight when it took his cursed energy in place of cursed technique. it showed that it confiscates starting with the "least" important. my problem is that he was just handed the tool a few chapters ago only for this reason, he didnt really use the tool, it kind of came out of nowhere, it seems too convenient.

I think something should happen where he is sealed again but not beaten.
It would make him truly be like a calamity or natural disaster. Something that came, wrecked shit and went away.
Sukuna being seales would be great, it would also open doors for a future sequel but I doubt Gege would extend the story. But being sealed means that for now, Jujutsu society has time to recover and prepare again when the time Sukuna returns.
Why do yall expect Higuruma to know everything about his technique? The guy has been a sorcerer for like 2 months and half the time he sitting in a bathtub waiting for people to run into him. Even with Miguel he even states how long it took to even create the whip and you expect to see curse tools everywhere? Also you have to remember Kashimo is a reincarnated sorcerer not and awakened one it makes more sense that he would know about curse tools but not the other awakened sorcerers because Kenjaku is even casually taking them out and he hasn't seen to run into anyone with curse tools.

Realistically it makes sense confiscated the weapon since no violence is allowed in the higaruma domain and the first thing when it comes to arresting someone is to make sure the individual doesn't have a weapon on them

Keep in mind that if he didn’t have the tool then he would lose Ten Shadows, Cleave/Dismantle, or the fire arrow. He could lose any one of those and still easily win. He gets the tool and loses it for the sake of tension in the fight.

I enjoy your breakdown of how little Sukuna has struggled here. I never really thought about it lol. Sukuna definitely needs to be pushed in some way by the end of the story, and not that same sense where apparently even though it looks like he's struggling, he's not. Because Gojo said he couldn't even make Sukuna go all out and he wouldn't have won even if he didn't have ten shadows, which... is honestly pretty insane. Because I don't see how even prime Sukuna would ever win without Mahoraga or the adapted slashes. Overall, I'm betting all my cards on Yuji as Kenjaku said that both he and Sukuna can't co-exist and Yuji will become the eye of the storm and bring about the new era. So, it seems the way Gege is avoiding the asspull allegations is being able to point to Kenjaku and say, "Look! It wasn't asspull because I had Kenjaku breadcrumbing this power up since the beginning!"

I have my money on the heavy hitters(Hakari and Yuta(maybe include Maki there) to beat Sakuna physically, and then Yuji to somehow kill the soul of Sakuna (that killing him too maybe) and saving Megumi (or not).I know it maybe stupid but I see the most cense in this, with that backing up the statements of Gojo (to give his character even better conclusion, with the fact he was right bout them), and the story right now from what I see and connect is pushing there really hard, I don't know if you see that. Sakuna may look invincible right now but two three chapters from here we might be seeing Sakuna getting volleyballed by Yuji, Hakari and Yuta (maybe Maki too).

It shouldn't be a story about hardships n triumph...but more about struggle n pain. Sometimes we can try as hard as we want but things don't always have a happy ending. Life isn't a fairytale, a light isn't always waiting at the end of the tunnel. Having jjk end like every other shonen manga would he a slap in the face to the story being written. A cliché "things always turn out fine in the end" just isn't real

His whole thing was trying to sacrifice himself, somethinh which backfired immensely as his self sacrificial nature us what allowed sukuna to take over megumi. I dont think his very toxic idea of self sacrifice should be fallen back too. It would send a horrible message for the theme of the show and regress his character.

For example: Yuji was sentenced to death despite being 15 years old, while the Japanese legal system restricts death penalties to individuals ONLY over the age of 18. Its purely a matter of convenience (without totally breaking the story) for Gege and he tries to sprinkle in dashes of realism here and there to make the story somewhat grounded.
Id like Sukuna to win but understand if he doesnt. Itll be something fresh and new in shonen. Sukuna is also 1000 years old and was stated to be the strongest from the start. When watching the latest Anime episodes today I found it interesting how often it got highlighted that Nobara is not dead-ish 100%. As we know her CT can hit a curse's soul and damage it like in the fight against Mahito. I was thinking that in order for Sukuna to not consider her a threat in battle they might have decided to keep Yuji among others in the dark about her surviving as otherwise Sukuna would have been aware as well. I don't think she'd take him down or anything but similar to when they tag-teamed Mahito she could create 1 important opening with her surprise appearance.
Nobara death never been confirmed, but I feel like the culling games was a perfect time to come back. Now Its hard to see it

I honestly do not know. I am hoping it has something to do with Yuji because it felt like Gege was slowly building Yuji up to be Sukuna's absolute counter. I am more concerned about Kenjaku. I feel like everything is oddly going his way (other than getting his head chopped off by Yuta). If you think about it, who started every arc? Kenjaku was always the mastermind (the brains) but is always conveniently overshadowed by Sukuna (the brawns). Almost like he purposely avoided being the center of attention. I cannot wait to get back to him. I see a lot of people trying to say Sukuna is the main villain, but I think it is Kenjaku. I mean he even admitted that Sukuna is part of his plan or back up plan for if Gojo escaped. I mean he is literally the reason for Sukuna being in this era AND killing Gojo (turning him into a cursed object which Sukuna then copied and transferred to Megumi) It feels like he has everyone in the palm of his hands. I think Takaba AND maybe Yuta WAS/IS Kenjaku's downfall and Yuji AND maybe Megumi is hopefully Sukuna's downfall.

Nobara and yuji will beat up sukunas soul directly out of meguimi. Since they can attack souls directly theyll probably force him out and save megumi and than 3v1 sukuna to a dub.
It hasn't been confirmed but when Sukuna used the gift Yaoyarozu or whatever her name was gave him, he effectively made a wish restoring his heian body. That's why he looks like he does now. And that leads to potentially megumis soul and body basically not being here anymore. Also possibly why we haven't seen any ten shadows anymore.

The curse is putting your wish before anything else(I.e. original Rika on Yuta, Yuji’s grandpa on Yuji, cursed spirits, etc.) Which is why everyone cursed Gojo as the strongest without the death wish behind it. That’s why Gojo lost. Think about what Sakuna said to Jogo before killing him. He’s the power system personified. That’s why he’s plot armored. No reason to complain. Why not dive deeper into why justice(law) in a flawed system like Higaruma stated in his flashback in the Yuji fight wont work on a Curse who’s lives to curse everything.

but Sukuna, whether from raw power or knowledge of sorcery (which is understandably greater than any of these kids alive) has an answer.
BUT..... to your point about their being no substance to it. Overcoming Gojo (even if sukuna was holding back) is still no small feat and you said yourself required some big gambles from Sukuna.
And from there he's had to defeat everyone trying to gang up on him (just like he did 1,000 years ago) WHILE damaged from the Gojo battle!!!
So let's not act like this is Superman just walking his way through a world that has no kryptonite. Sukuna has had to earn all of this and people are STILL (probably rightfully) expecting the heroes to receive some asspull that will beat him.
But do you really think there's more substance to that? That the story is somehow better overall if Itadori uno reverse cards Sukuna somehow? Or do you think the story is better if Sukuna struggles so much more to the point that he basically loses but then manages to win through some bullshit? (We already came close to that in the Gojo fight according to most people)
I just can't see a scenario right now where things would be more interesting and more memorable than they would be if Sukuna won. Sadly, I still don't expect it to happen but it's wild that it's even a real enough possibility for us to discuss it.
Because in most anime, to use My Hero Academia as an example again, none of us have ever really thought for a second All For One could win. It was just a matter of "Will he or won't he take someone like All Might with him" and then the age old "I know the heroes will win but how will they do it?" question.
JJK has us legit asking if the hero is even going to win which is AWESOME!!!! But if the answer turns out to be "No" honestly it kinda seems like all for nothing because if this manga isn't willing to do it then no battle manga ever will probably.

Honestly, I agree with the majority of your statement. Bar one thing, the idea that Gege is so bland as to make Sukuna's possible defeat to be something as simple as "they'll find a way" like most battle manga by just hitting harder or a bs power up, Gege has shown himself to be able to tell his story in a way like no other.
If we follow the themes of the manga even something as simple as the power system and not being able to get something without an exchange, it's a big possibility Yuji wins in a way he considers losing, for example having to become something as dark and monstrous as Sukuna to defeat him, leaving him forever changed.
All I'm saying is don't right off the possibility that Sukuna's loss could be written as memorably as his possible victory.

the things gojo pulled off are stuff we have seen or at least known was possible before and if it isnt either of those two it's not anything major like healing burnt out ct with rct, but sukuna seems to always have a way to get out of situations like what a coincidence higuruma's confiscation takes the cursed tool's ability if the person it was inflicted on has a cursed tool on them and coincidentally sukuna has a cursed tool. Im not saying sukuna should lose to higuruma but atleast gege should let his ct get taken away and maybe we can see what else sukuna has up his sleeve.

Sukuna is the complete opposite, by killing Gojo it gives the readers the feeling that shit go could wrong at any given moments. The main difference is that Gojo is an ally while Sukuna is an enemy.

So how do I think this ends. Simple. Like Naruto basically. Kenjaku betrays Sukuna, it is revealed he had the last finger and somehow this combined with Geto's body somehow makes him able to eat Sukuna's soul as he's mostly a curse, this being done, takes him out of Megumi's body, Kenjaku then uses the cursed power he gained plus everything else to create a world ending curse he can't control. While our cast is fighting this curse we get the return of Gojo somehow, many possibilities, Gojo returns stronger than ever, fights Kenjaku and wins, at the end he sacrifices his life to destroy the world ending curse. When the curse is destroyed this somehow works through Tengen somehow and erases cursed energy from the world therefore fulfilling Yuki's dream too. Yuji then walks over to Megumi and Megumi is suicidal but he cheers him up and tells him he also wants him to live like Megumi said to him in the first episode. Megumi then agrees and the series ends with a reel of the aftermath and Gojo's funeral. That's my best bet. Stuff could still shuffle around but in large I think that's the likely route. It's certainly how I'd end it. But hey there's also the possibility that somehow Yuji and his power alongside these factors above end up releasing the world from curses. Either way I think at the very end the world will be left without cursed energy no matter which way we end up going.
I hope sukuna doesnt get the madara treatment tho
@@godlyomen10 Hard to say, but I think Sukuna's character is quite heavily inspired from Madara and we do have this dynamic between Kenjaku and Sukuna that is somewhat similar to Madara and Black Zetsu. I think the author is flexible and will probably change things as he writes but this is a likely scenario that Kenjaku is going to betray him and it's also likely he planned to do this from the start as if you listen to Kenjaku from the start he says his goal is to create a curse he can't control and also that he needs Gojo sealed and he needs Sukuna made an ally to succeed, we then hear about Tengen how he's mostly a curse, well so is Sukuna, what is Sukuna's body and power is the core, or the seed for Kenjaku's great curse he can't control. What if Gege Akutami was literally copying Naruto here and planned a Kaguya scenario at the very end, because we seem to have a lot of hints and foreshadowing for it in my view. It's all speculation at this point and he can change his plans at any time but it could happen.

You completely forgot to mention the Merger beast that comes outta Kenjaku's plan. Sukuna is everyone's enemy the merger beast should be more than sufficent of a plot device to do some real damage to Sukuna. Infact I theroize that Yugi Consumes the merger beast and finishes Sukuna in a 1v1 to the death. With the potential for Yugi to die with Sukuna in the end also in the cards.
