Those are great bikes. My primary riding buddy has ridden his all over the western US and it's been pretty bulletproof and it's been dropped, crashed and ridden all kinds of places it probably shouldn't have been. His is a manual, my brother recently bought a 2016 DCT and really likes it. I'd probably pick the DCT but the manual is great too. Looks like you got a great buy, enjoy.
Congrats on the AT bud, u definitely got a good deal. I bought same bike with 22k & pristine condition for 7500 in December & love it. Currently on 10 day/1500m trip thru Florida
That was the very very first motorcycle I ever rode, was a buddies...didn't go far but it was neat...not long after was a GSX-R 1000...it scared me as I was a new rider...which got me hooked!

Good to have more good info, I've heard they are great bikes...id like to try a DCT, this one's a 6 speed.
