I love pink gold but many reported that Cartier pink gold turn orange over time. I think it is not acceptable for the price! I wonder if the same thing happen with VCA? If so, I would rather buy from a local jewelry store...
The pink I have from Cartier is still holding up well it has been a few months of occasional wear. I’ve heard it does turn yellow gold slighty. Van cleef rose gold actually has a reputation of not changing colour hope this helps!
@@nikitaamerie Occasional wear should be ok, but it depends also on the item. For example if it's a ring for daily wear and you wash your hands several times a day then it will quickly turn yellow/orange as opposed to occasional wear of earrings for example ... I wonder if Tiffany has the same issue 🤔 I'm happy to hear that VCA pink gold is durable!
I have a Tiffany bracelet also in pink gold it’s currently still the same colour as my Cartier bracelet and has not changed colour. I always wear these together but they don’t get wet. With my rings I’m actually one of “those people” who takes them off when I wash my hands so my Cartier ring is still the same colour currently as my bracelet.
This is such a great question! Thanks for asking in the comments. The main reason I do it is because I don’t get any additional charges when I travel back to the uk. You get a VAT refund on purchases also and this is an added benefit to purchasing. I believe some places like the US and Australia might stop and search you to see if you have bought items from overseas and charge you taxes. Hope this helps.
The mini Lady Diors are so beautiful, especially the iridescence ones. Can't wait to see what you treat yourself too! xx
I know I have such a soft spot for them even though some are a few years older. I can’t wait 😝

Do you need to declare your items and pay tax when you're entering UK? Are the EU/UK systems linked online?
