illo sketchbooks have been backordered for some time because they got too popular for the business to sustain right now. that may be part of the reason. i think they'll be back in stock soon.

@@camila-fx6bz No, you have to learn it correctly. you can't just mindlessly practice random stuff, you won't get anywhere. If you can't do something, doing it over and over again won't change it. You have to try new things and experiment, not practice.

@@Thekweens Practice doesn't make perfect if you don't know what it's meant to look like or acually learn. If you keep drawing a blob calling it a dog than you obviously didn't learn what a dog looked like, practice makes PERMANANT, not perfect.
i have watched you since i was 14, and i'm now 20... it's strange, i'm now in university studying art and i keep returning to these videos every week and has for the past six years. these videos have been so important to me growing up and my artistic development, and now we're here

Im getting back into doing finished illustrations in my sketchbook because of you, it was all I'd do up until the age of 16 when I started doing watercolor. It's very therapeutic to get back into it💜

I’ve had one for a while, but I just finished the one before it, so I’m starting a new one too! I’m not confident enough to draw on the cover, so I usually just write on it in fancy lettering and draw little doodles around it.

Last week I started my third sketchbook, and it is because of you!! You made me realize that it doesn’t matter if I am good or bad at art, I just create art because I love it.

My dad has an old train conductor hat. It's so worn out but I lived in it for a year or 2 in my early 20's. People thought I was weird, others thought it was cute. It was fun.

I think you did an amazing job there, Rin! You challenged yourself to go way out of your comfort zone and pushed through it. You incorporated a bunch of things you've been working on in your previous sketchbook, such as perspective and drawing backgrounds. And you still created something super cute (in my opinion)! Well done! I think this sketchbook is off to a great start!

that is the hardest part. i think i've just gotten to the point in my life where i know there will be more sketchbooks so I don't have to stress out about it too much, its just one of many. instead of such a big deal? So id rather settle with a good idea, then stress about trying to find a great idea and then never actually doing anything? hope that makes sense
@@drawingwiffwaffles It does make sense! I think it doesn't help that for the longest time I would start a sketchbook, do a few drawings, then find a new sketchbook.
Now I have Multiple sketchbooks each for different mediums or one is just for monthly challenges. One is for online lessons... In short, I'm a mess of ADD switching between things 😅
