Annina's bakery has been a must for us for many years. Every time we we are in that area, it is absolutely impossible to just drive by and not stop there....!
Lovely little towns but I think Renfrew is a must to add. I like the way one can be downtown and see fields and trees all around. People are very friendly too.
I like what you do. It's fun to drive around Ontario and see towns here and there. Great for us Torontonians wanting to get out of the city. It always surprises me the things I find.
Have you visited Coldwater, ON yet? It's a very pretty town with lots of lovely unique shops. It's situated on the Coldwater River. If you go a little further out of town, within the Township of Severn, you will come to Severn Falls and the Big Chute Marine Railway. It's an engineering marvel as it moves boats up and down the the river between elevations.
I enjoy watching your videos. One thing I would appreciate though is if you left the name of the town on the screen. When you're jumping from one town to another I keep rewinding to see what town this was. Thank you for great videos
Cambridge is a city. I think that you need a lesson in Ontario geographic nomenclature. Glen Williams is just a tiny part of Halton Hills containing artisan shops. I hope that your journals are more accurate.
1. For those who are saying Cambridge is a shithole - not true. Cambridge has its attractions and activities like many other communities of similar size. 2. Cambridge is not a small town; current population approximately 139,000. 3. Cambridge sits in an area of southern Ontario, Waterloo Region, which puts it within reasonable driving distance of many other communities, attractions and activities aside from what is available in Waterloo Region. 👍🏻
I was expecting to see tiny homes!!! Not just what to see! Cambridge is another small by any stretch of the imagination. Cambridge consists of Preston, Hespler and Galt. So 3 towns amalgamated into one.
Wait, you said 'tiny towns' and then keep referring to cities. Fenelon Falls is a tiny town. Haliburton is a tiny town Peterborough is a city, not overly big, but it isn't a town let alone tiny. Havlock is a tiny town. Generally speaking, if it isn't 60 minutes from the 401, it's just a blurred portion of the urban sprawl from Hamilton to Oshawa. Anything south of New Market and Kitchener is just part of the GTA, If you want to explore nice towns, Ontario has many of them. But they tend to have 30 minutes of driving between them and anything else. Your best travels are north of Highway 7. And I would know, I've lived in Lindsay since 67.
Yes there are parts of Cambridge that are lovely (riverside) and a lot more that is ugly and impoverished . There is a lot of crime and the local traffic is a nightmare.
Believe me when I say that Cambridge is by far nothing close as to portrayed on your video I've lived in numerous cities throughout Ontario for periods of time and Cambridge is by far the most rundown city I would say west of Toronto
I don’t see Cambridge as rundown. It has its attractions just like many communities and has some areas that are not as attractive, again, just like many communities.
She hasn’t really done any service with any of the places she visited. There is a lot of history in each place that makes up the reason to visit. It is also her choice to highlight only a few places in each town. I am disappointed with this .
I was born and grew up in Cambridge. It was not made up of several towns. Cambridge is essentially an amalgamation of three communities, Galt, Preston and Hespeler which occurred in 1973. There were a couple of smaller areas incorporated but those weren’t actually towns. 😊
This is the poorest country ever, life here in this country is socks, the country has only one law that you need to work and give all your money to the government and hardly you survive, it's causing to everyone become single and live individually in order pay extra money to the government of this dirty country, Noone is happy in this poor country since people here hardly trying to survive, renting is too high and you need to pay insurance, electricity, for 70 years old crapy building, any way you have to don't eat but just struggling to work and earn money for government big pocket 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
Thank you for sharing. It’s wonderful to see places to visit besides the big cities😃
Glad you liked it! And I agree! 😊
Paris Ontario is a gem, especially the lace shop on the Main Street.

Yes totally a must visit when in the area!
Lovely little towns but I think Renfrew is a must to add. I like the way one can be downtown and see fields and trees all around. People are very friendly too.

I think you need a lesson in kindness and adding value to a conversation

Halton is a huge area made up of many many small towns

You seem to know more than me, tag me when you start your UA-cam channel please!
Will it turn into a 15 min concentration camp soon

Could be said about any town/city
Believe me when I say that Cambridge is by far nothing close as to portrayed on your video I've lived in numerous cities throughout Ontario for periods of time and Cambridge is by far the most rundown city I would say west of Toronto
Agreed...

She forgot the Methodone clinic lol
The fort in Niagara on the Lake is garbage but the one on the US side (French architecture) looks amazing
Cambridge is made up of several towns side by side. You should ask which area yoù are visiting and tell the audience. I watched Galt tonite.
I was born and grew up in Cambridge. It was not made up of several towns. Cambridge is essentially an amalgamation of three communities, Galt, Preston and Hespeler which occurred in 1973. There were a couple of smaller areas incorporated but those weren’t actually towns. 😊
Great info - but can you work on your camera work. It’s too jumpy and fast. Hard to watch.
Don't watch then!
@@ontarioroadtripping It was meant as constructive criticism.
@@ontarioroadtripping that was not necessary..... they are right: good info and yes, you could get better at the camera
Allen Sharon Martin Sharon Miller Karen
you mean southern ontario. ontario is huge and filled with hundreds of small towns. you picked the touristy ones.
Instead of being critical why not add something useful to conversation such as examples of small towns?

Same exact issues in almost all first world nations. Silly to think it's only Canada
You are way off about Cambridge the place is a shit hole you saw the newest district not the actual reality of the city
Every city has bad and good
