what an awesome video this was, i really liked to see the hundreds of ducks and of course the marsh harrier footage is always nice to see, i might visit here one day but who knows, thanks for the awesome video JP, I'll see you next video, until then ciao
Great place ! Been there a couple of times now. See the marsh harrier and took a nice shot of what I was told was a Peregrine, including your good self 👍
Enjoyed this video. I went over the this place on Sunday we got there late but plan to return this sat. We saw 3 spoonbills and a Marsh Harrier. We did see a barn owl but now thinking it could have been the short eared owl.
Thank you for your kind words 😊... Shortys are bigger and darker than a Barny, barnys are like ghosts compact and pale. If you look through my videos here I have one of a shorty 👍🏼... I heard about the spoon bills didn't see any however but I always like to save something for next time lol 😂.... Thanks for watching and commenting 😉👌..... JP
In the madness that has been my life for the last 4 weeks I've been to Essex (big county I know) five times - Colchester to Brentwood, showing films for a big care group. Just to say I'm not an Essex virgin anymore ;) Have to connect in '22 :) Si.
WHAAAT!!! I live 20 mins from Brentwood! Border control never informed me either!!! Heads will roll! 😂😂😂..... You are always welcome to come over here buddy have a day out, plenty of room at the inn here 😉👍🏼
Think I’ll be there Tuesday buddy if the weathers ok, went today really windy! Saw a ringtail so got half a vlog lol 😂 other half getting done Tuesday hopefully!!!! 🤞🏻
@@nickswildlifefootage9392 might pop to rainham tomorrow morning Tuesdays looking good weather with no wind 💨 so hopefully they will be flying! Hope you’re doing well buddy, we need a catch up!
A useful introduction to the reserve. Photographically it's a bit of a no-hoper for me as my longest reliable lens is only 250mm (I've got a 400 but I can't seem to get any decent photos out of it). Been there once and was treated to a nice fly-by of a male Hen Harrier - the only male one I've ever seen - flew quite close at the car park just after I'd got out of the car. If my M-I-L hadn't phoned me when I was on my way there I'd have been parked sooner and had my camera out in time to get a decent picture. Sodding relatives.
Another great video! We were there 25th November 2023 - Brilliant place this just by what the RSPB have done making it what is!
Glad you enjoyed it Christine! I’m back there very soon 😉😊 x
Lovely video enjoyed watching ❤
Thank you

Nice to see the Marsh Harrier JP and who doesn't like a Little Egret. Great place Wallersea Island but it can be a bit wind swept at times.
Right with you there buddy! 😉👍🏼 Yeah it was ok on this day luckily or that band of rain would of got us! 🙄😂
