This is a BeamNG short film that I have been working off and on for the last few months as a small passion project. This is only my second ever in this space, and I think it turned out exceptionally well. Enjoy.

Thank you, I am indeed very proud of the result, even though there are a lot of mistakes that I was too lazy to deal with when I was making the whole thing.
I thought about lowering the fps in post as well, but ultimately decided not to because I wasn't comfortable with how it turned out at the time. I want to try it again if I end up making another one.

a great homage to 70s australian cinema (and a spaghetti western at heart)
let alone the camera angles are a grearly thought out choice in that film and explained in its Extras

Very good. I think you did a really good job on this short film. Have you put any thought into it about doing a colab with any one to start the story and end it? I feel that this is just the middle. We still don't know the driver He/She was driving so fast. What was the reason? Where were they going?

No, I had no plans on continuing the story. The ending being left open to interpretation was intentional, as I find looping stories to be very entertaining. Purposefully leaving context out of the equation also allows for the viewer to debate about the details, filling in the blanks with an imagination of their own.
Colabs are fun, and I did originally intend on having help with this project as I didn't believe the tunnel scene was possible considering much the ai can act like a brain rot victim at times. I opted to try and do it myself regardless, mostly because of how inconsistent my recording sessions were during the few on/off months.
Some people don't have a reason to be doing the things that they do. Some people just like to go fast.

I would try to imitate the first person view a bit more convincingly, the rest is dope!
The whole thing isn't perfect, there are a lot of areas I can improve upon. I have ideas on how to improvise my vr headset as a ingame "handheld camera". Thanks for watching! :)
