  • We’ve all been through deep hurts and rejection that we never saw coming, and they usually lead us to questions like:
Does Jesus actually understand what this feels like?
Can I truly recover from the pain and rejection I’ve experienced?
Is there a way to become so stable that I’m not shaken when people reject me?
Any of these sound familiar? Girl, you’re in good company, and if you’re ready to know the answers, TUNE IN. Today, Ginger, Jai, and Erin welcome Joyce and special guest Christine Caine to the set for a powerhouse conversation where they unpack the nitty-gritty details of how you can begin to heal from rejection.
Get ready to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded of God’s unconditional love + acceptance.
P.S. After the recording, Joyce shared that she really felt this episode was anointed to help people, so we can’t wait for you to hear it!

I'm a 40 year old guy and I know some of the guys may think that Joyce's talk it out podcast is for women only, simply because it's only women on the panel. But for any of the men feeling that way you shouldn't. I really enjoy and get a lot out of the talk it out podcast. But sometimes I think a lot of men feel like the only way they can get something out of this is from a men's group or man teaching them God's word. And that's not true because God uses all types of people men and women to help us.

Sir....that is WONDERFUL!!!!! I have learned most of my Christian lessons from men, and this Podcast is a breath of fresh air. I love that you are open to learn from women. We ALL can learn wisdom from one another in a powerful way as long as we are open to it. Praise God for you and your honesty and willing to learn the love of God from those who are willing to teach!!!!

almost 3 years ago, at almost 22 years old i almost took my own life. I was abused as a kid, broken, depressed, anorexic, bulimic, suicidal. I went in & out of psych units like it was a game of tic-tac-toe. Suicide watch. I was on enough Antidepressants to kill a horse. I hated myself. I wanted out. I wanted the pain to stop. The gaslighting* to end. *(when a psycho makes a sane person question their own sanity, and thus think they themselves are the insane one).
I wanted power. I got into witchcraft. I thought it would give me the identity i wanted, to be set apart from people who hurt me. It only made me sicker. Sicker. Thats what it did to me.
The doctor said id never get well. That i would suffer severe Chronic Manic depression, and never be well, that id be stuck on antidepressants all of my life.
I would plot suicide on a daily basis, binging and purging my food as often as opening and closing a door. The pain was too real. People choked me. Assaulted me. Told me i was ugly, i felt worthless. Nothing ever got better. Then my mother died. The (1) & only soul who ever loved /emotionally supported me was removed from the earth. I was stuck living with people who broke me, ruined my identity, thus causing me to hate God. I thought God hated me, that he was just like the ones who tortured me, a family of abusers, who cover up all their actions with the mask of religion. I didnt know that God is on my side. I didnt know that Jesus would Love and Defend me, and fight for me and that He later would heal me, rescue me from Family. The ones who caused me pain. The ones who choked me for wearing a necklace.
I moved out after family threatened to throw all my belongings on the front yard, and have me permanently institutionalized in an insane asylum, when they were the ones who caused my mental illness via abuse.
They blamed me for the abuse they did to me.
To take my life in an insane asylum when they were the ones who made me suicidal.
Next morning i spoke with my dead moms parents who let me live with them.
I stayed on the antidepressants, prescribed. But they only made me sicker. I got deeper and deeper into witchcraft, thinking it was a solution. But it made me even more suicidal. Self hatred was inescapable.
I decided i was going to kill myself. I was going to take all my pills.
But then Jesus stepped in. I didnt die. I surrendered my life to Jesus to make me well and heal me.
The deity i blamed for me being abused wanted to heal me. He Was fighting for me and Loved me all along.
He wanted to love me. He wanted to give me His Heart.
😭 HE LOVES ME. JESUS. LOVES. ME .
Jesus miraculously healed me - i am off all drugs and dont need them and i dont have any mental illnesses. I work a job and am totally healed , full of joy.
I’m now a born again Christian, who wants the entire world to know that ❤️JESUS WANTS TO HEAL YOU
    HE. LOVES. YOU.
    Nuff said. ❤️

Christine Caine is the one here who is outstanding at expressing in an articulate and intelligent way an understanding of the underlying issues. The others look on in awe as she speaks and they should because whilst Joyce is your everyman teacher who speaks in plain language....Christine is on a whole new level. She sees the nuances the others cannot express.

Ladies, I wish you were on EVERY DAY!!!! I have to say, I particularly have to thank Ginger for inspiring us more mature ladies. I have to thank Erin for helping me relate to my daughters . But I have to thank Jai for her transparency over her divorce. I had an illness that caused me to become disabled. My husband literally abandoned me into a nursing home/ rehab center. I thought I was there to get strong enough to live at home again. However, my husband didn't want to deal with my disability. My mother helped and covered for my husband and a "friend" of mine to have an affair which resulted in a child. I not only felt rejected and betrayed, but completely abandoned. Hearing Jai express her feelings with her situation opened my eyes in a HUGE way. I stopped feeling like less of a Christian for feeling the way that I did. You let me know I wasn't the only one that felt the way that I did. I buried the way I felt bc I was afraid it would ruin my witness. I was afraid I was weak and wrong . Jai, I am not divorced yet, but hearing you and watching your "grace under fire" has given me the courage and confidence to move forward. You are not only so beautiful physically, your spiritual beauty is awe inspiring to me. Ladies, I love and pray for you. All of you have inspired me more than you will EVER know!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!

Rejection is so powerful that it can take us all the way back to childhood and make us feel childlike and helpless. It can still make me feel like when I was a child and the little girls at school suddenly decided they didn't want to talk to me anymore. And I was left with that lost feeling where I had so many questions and no answers. I only had to rely on myself to move forward. I couldn't make my mother make those girls like me. I had to rely on myself to grow and become strong. Thank God that now as an adult I can recover instantly but it definitely can still tap into those feelings. You can't make anyone like you if they don't want to. But the beautiful thing about these times is that these are the moments you become so strong and start to rely on God. If they don't like you or want you then God does not want them in Your life. Simple as that.

I am going through much mixed emotions currently, with many job rejections (I am 54 years old and that is a problem in the employment phere, in many fields in South Africa) I thought I was strong at receiving over 100 job rejections, this week I could not handle the rejection and it opened up a vault of emotions :-( ! Plus losing my sister and my furbaby last year doubled that depressive emotional state! A very Blessed and Dear friend of mine referred the Podcast to me, and I am so grateful! I cried whilst watching this as the rejection resonated with me. I actually questioned God why did God cause Pain to my Folks, broken as they lost a child! Ms Joyce Meyers answered that question as I was asking mine here in South Africa today, 22 January 2023! Thank you for a Divine Podcast, i truly needed to hear these beautiful words of encouragement about our Good God! Love and Prayers from South Africa!

Jesus was rejected and He still gave his life for us. I have come to understand that even when “friends” don’t call me or invite or make me part of something I still will be there when they need me. I think of it this way, the Holy Spirit is always here for us but we have to invite Him for Him to be present, but He loves us all the time even when we don’t call him. So let’s love each other and be there for each other when they need us even when they are not for us, we are to be an example and know that we are never alone because we have God but not everyone does, but they can find Him through us!!!

15 years ago my dearest closest friend stopped talking to me.. became almost hateful. I was in shock and tears. Tried to confront her several times and she said it was nothing.. just another path she was on. I now find out bad words were said about her that she assumed was me… never happened but now she was embarrassed and remained distant. I finally got over all and it actually made me stronger in many ways.. in other relationships but mostly with myself! Sadly at 53 she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Crazy… she forgot the hate and I’m now her close friend again. Never thought I would get a glimpse of my dear friend ever again. I now help with some of her care taking. God bless and always keep your focus on Him and the written word and not on earthly ways.

SO many gems in this podcast!! Thank you for sharing about your different experiences with rejection. So often it can feel like we are the only ones going through these things. I really needed to hear this tonight as it has been something I've been praying about a lot lately. This was a direct answer to prayer, not only about rejection but also about God setting us apart for a season, and how striving to have a tribe, can become an idol in our life. Thank you.

Rejection never leaves us feeling great about ourselves, but from my own personal experiences, I've come to learn that God uses rejection to sharpen me and to grow me in areas that I never thought that I'd be able to progress in. A greater level of capacity to uphold the mantle of God has always been produced whenever I've experienced rejection. This has always been the case for me. Through rejection, I've learned that He takes the foolish things to confound the wise. Never think it strange concerning the trials of rejection or anything that presents itself as an opposition to how we thought things should have turned out. Rejection is the tearing away of what does not line up with the will of God for our lives.

So I'm journalling as I'm learning and listening to this show and at the bottom of my journal page I am always treated to the Lord's Word. And as usual, He doesn't dissapoint. My piece of scripture says: "And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose." Rom 8:28
And so it's a random next page in my journal, with a scripture quoted on this show by Joyce and I was led to this video as I feared rejection for the next step I am about to take in my life and God is SO SO Good because He always speaks through His word. I Love Him. Praise God

This morning, I was listening to a podcast about rejection. It helped me think about the rejection from my dad and brother in a new light. Maybe they felt I did not love them so they had to reject me. That gives me compassion. Knowing God will never reject me, that I don't have to believe everything people tell me about myself is so comforting. I also pray that those I have wounded will be healed and know GOd's love for them.

Our young ppl need our prayers DAILY!!! They have it harder than I could have ever imagined. I had my young teenage nieces come visit me from out of town. They all excitedly went to church with me. The sadness hit me when we went to lunch after. Three young girls that haven't had time together for over a year. But instead of jubilant giggles that I would have had with my cousins in my youth, it was stone silent. They had no idea how to interact. All 3 wanted to stay on their phones on social media. We were in a wonderful opportunity to be "social " in person. I finally made them out their phones down and "visit". Sadly, unless I continually sparked the conversation, there was none. These beautiful young ladies had no idea how to enjoy their time together. Us older folks need to intercede in prayer for all of the younger generations.

I am going through a very long season of separation. I do believe that it is lasting so long because I was not exactly cooperating with God's will for quite some time. I am new to the acceptance of Jesus Christ in my life. I feel so completely brought together and also torn apart all at once. I do know everything will be better than fine on this path, but it does still inflict some pain upon me - growing pains I guess you could say. Today in particular, I am in some heavy pain from feeling rejected by my very close groups of friends. I am either being left out completely or just not as included as everyone else. It is exactly as they said in regard to when you begin to get better and do better, people alienate you. I sought out this advice not knowing that this video would be so spot on, so thank you so very much for helping me through today. This truly lightened the weight off of my heart. Almost a year later and I found this broadcast just at a crucial time when I'm dealing with humiliation and rejection by a friend of over 20 years. It has made me feel ashamed of Myself, "othered", the "what's wrong with me?" record suddenly popping up, the isolation and silence from others I considered friends. Just being ignored as if I didn't exist. As a child I was orphaned and later rejected & abandoned by siblings. Into adulthood abused, rejected and abandoned by in-laws.
I'm 67 years old and have watched friends and acquaintances being stripped away during this pandemic and have faced serious personal issues alone with no girlfriend I can really talk to. BUT GOD. I learned so much thru this talk today.
    "Man's rejection is God's protection."
"There's purpose in going through accepting the ebbs and flows of relationships and understanding that things come to an end."
"I can still walk in victory despite rejection."
"Our biggest mistake is that we always equate pain with being bad and it's not."
"God doesn't make people mean so that they hurt us but He will use them to make you better."
Being thankful for people rejecting me because God is using that rejection for His divine purpose.
"Sometimes I need isolation, just me and God."
"Isolate spiritually to connect with God."
God has ALREADY done a major Restoration in my life but He's currently using this pandemic to draw me to Himself. Like Joyce, I can truly say that I'm not sorry that I was orphaned and abused because I'm a v-e-r-y strong person and having gone through what I have has made me the person that I am today. And I like that person.
I now understand that what I'm currently experiencing is a divine appointment with Jesus Christ and that He is leading me into another new and exciting time of life. My Restoration is continuing and that He will provide me with new friends and new connections in His time.
"I can still walk in Victory despite rejection." What a GREAT witness to the Power and Love of our Mighty God.

Seek God in this moment and pursue Him not other relationships. Our love should come from our Father first then mankind. Also, I was in a very abusive relationship and had many relationships before and after that failed. What started the healing is when I started praying for my ex.
