Video walkthrough and photo slideshow of an abandoned Farm in Southole, Devon UK. Captured on my holiday while down there, the property was there some 7-8 years prior when I first visited. This time I managed a walk around of the site and did a video capture on my phone as well as stills captures using my Leica M9.
As you'll see in the video, there's not much left, but a few little details still remain. Places like this are fascinating, you can't help but wonder what type of person(s) lived there and the life they lived? There's a few old newspapers I found dated to 1993, so it's likely been abandoned not long after judging by the state of decay and collapse in the property.
All still images captured using a Leica M9 with a Voigtlander Nokton 35mm f1.4 II. Lately I've been exploring a 4x5 aspect ratio, as I find the framing more pleasing. Video shot hand held using the iPhone 13 Pro... I'm not really a videographer as you can tell!
As you watch this video, in all likelihood this location is now gone, as site development had begun behind the property a few days after I visited.
