Hello Rob, firstly thank you for this video, it was very interesting to see your point of view ! To give a little extra information, there is important tu explain two more things ! 1) KPI (Key performance Indicator) is juste one of indicators family, there are also OPI (Operational performance indicator) and SPI (Strategic performance indicator), this two others aiming to operational or strategic activities ! 2) I think indicators must use as a tool to understand what happen and why there are gap between objectives and reality ! And not use as thing to fight/conteste his manager what du you think about that ?

We do logistics on demand and the KPI that we measure is cummulative gross margin to ensure that we have positive cash flow at our company. I do think it is a good one and an important one. What do you think?
I think it's OK. But I would like to see in addition, the gross margin per transaction, as aggregate numbers usually 'mask' the detail where losses occur.

I see what you are saying. I tend to call them all KPIs but use different ones at different levels inthe organisation. Same thing really.
