- Jaguar! is a junior roller coaster located at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Built by Zierer and designed by Werner Stengel, the coaster opened to the public in 1995.

Is this and good first foster I've never been on a roller coaster before? I'm going to Knott's tommorw
When I rode this, it was more fun then thrilling, so if anyone wants to start with small coasters, this is the one.

My 2nd favorite ride at Knott's Berry Farm. 1st was the defunct dark ride, Kingdom of the Dinosaurs. 🐆🦖

This is going pretty far back, but the Wacky Soap Box Racers were great
looks like one of those coaster you build in roller coaster tycoon when your park has no space left and you have really squeeze it in

My FIRST roller coaster was HANG TIME I’m 8 years old and I went it was so much fun but I felt like I was going to fall!

This looks like just my pace. I’m going to Knott’s for the first time since I was a kid for my 18th birthday and I only like coasters like this with no serious drops. Any others you’d recommend at Knott’s? :)

@@AttractionsWorldwide Yeah! I’m also considering Silver Bullet. It looks very smooth. But I’m going to avoid Ghost Rider, Hangtime, and Xcelerator!! The scariest i’ve been on was Incredicoaster, and while it was fun, it just made me feel sick afterwards. I like Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad, and the like because they are nice and smooth.
@@ollieisarat silver bullet is really smooth. Xcelerator and Ghost Rider are pretty narly
@ 𝓕𝓻𝓸𝓰𝓼 & 𝓒𝓪𝓽𝓼 I heard! But since there are no drops I think it might be ok. I like Space Mountain which is super intense, but there are no drops.

I moved from SoCal the year before this opened. I remember when The Corkscrew and Montezuma's Revenge opened as a kid. Now the Corkscrew is long gone (as is the Parachute Drop and Haunted Shack and the Motorcycle Chase (later the Soapbox Racers) and Montezuma's Revenge is just an abandoned station left to rot.
I visited KBF a few months ago and rode this. It already feels old.
I miss the KBF of the 70s.
My first inversion was on Corkscrew so many years ago. It was replaced with Boomerang, which was great. The latest resident of that spot is HangTime which is great. If you're over 50, you may need a little break afterwards to re center yourself.

This is the rollercoaster ride they have done for one of the idents for Channel 4.
In the Jimmy Neutron video game there is a section where you are at an amusement park and can ride the roller coaster for points etc. This roller coaster looks exactly like that one in the Jimmy Neutron video game!

Is it like Disney where you take it on with you? Like universal where you use lockers? Or is there somewhere free to put them? Thank you
It depends on the ride. This ride you take it on with you. Some coasters they have cubbies for you

It’s a bunch of fun for sure! It’s in OC and so is Disneyland, so Disney gets all the attention but knotts is fun as well

Very similar to the Pepsi Orange Streak (formerly Pepsi Ripsaw) coaster at Mall of America.

My first starter ride at knotts berry farm was GhostRider and I kinda regret that. At first I though jaguar was scary but when I went for my birthday I went on it like 4 times because there were no lines.

To think this place used to have a western theme. Nothing like it was in the 70s.
Earliest I went was the mid 90s, it’s changed a lot since then. I think Jaguar was it’s first real coaster, now it’s packed with them

I worked there in 1994-95, we had a running joke that it was called the "Fiesta Tram Ride."
It was mid, it was very rough and not very thrilling, but it wasn’t bad.

Arguably the weakest ride in the knotts line up. I get it’s a “family” coaster but a little speed, some slightly steeper hills and better banking couldn’t hurt.
It’s a great starter coaster for young kids
