While 60hz is perfectly fine, I think the only thing you dropped the ball on this is by not going for 120hz. Literally everything else about this tablet looks like something I want to buy, and even at 60hz I think I would buy this over any Wacom equivalent simply because of the fact that this doesn't have a fan. All the other features seem fantastic, and the price seems totally reasonable. But again, I'd have been fine with paying a bit more for a faster refresh rate.
Amen! After trying 2 Wacom pro 24's and a pro 32 I gave up on Wacom's newer models with the fan noise. It's really great to see this product with no fans and a metal (I'm presuming aluminium?) back to dissipate heat. Smart.
I just had hoped that maybe the first release would have been in a size that is NOT already offered by everyone but yet requested by many. Like an 18" or 20".
Any chance Xencelabs would make a display or pen that tracks pen rotation (like the Wacom Art Pen?) As far as I can see it's the only thing Wacom really has over this.
I was just hoping for a Large regular pen tablet. Not everyone can work on a display tablet all day. I had to give up my Cintiq because of pain with neck and shoulder positions that display tablets put you in.
It's for professionals. $1900 USD it's pretty competitive if we compere it to Wacom and Huion offerings. In infact it has many advantages like no fan noice, built great quality, and being able to move windows across all monitors within the tablet (that's amazing feature). My only critique is there is no multi-touch support. But I know I'm in the minority most artists don't use multi-touch . Even then I'm planning on getting one, hopefully they will have a touchscreen versión later.
This drawing display has the heart and soul of the cintiq 22HD which I had and I couldn't be happier ❤❤
