This is exactly the part of the beach where I always use to be. The hurricane of 2017 knocked over all the palms and a swept away a lot of sand so that afterwards the beach resembled a heap of rubble and stones. But meanwhile most of the sand is washed ashore again by the swell

Socialist paradise! My Guanabo in 1955-1960 was a beach town with a town center, stores selling beach towels & floaters…. Ice cream and fritas cubanas (hamburgers)…. This is a disgrace. I’ll keep my memories. No reason to visit. Sadly.
