impossible, you haven't even made it to malefic stardust, Meklord Emperor Granel, or the hidden vs team battles, where you fight all of a team by yourself, your lp stays the same, all the members of that team start with 8000, and they are harder than their initial fight. thats to name a few...
My high point in life was beating the Meklord guys with a mish-mash fire deck that used backfire and 1 copy of magma dragon to make synchros with. I took zero damage for the entire time thanks to Yugi-levels of topdecks
I actually 100%ed Yugioh Legacy of the Duelist Link Evolution on the switch and WOW, that took some time. And cmon, Ygo games aren't 100% chill cuz that game did have some BS at times and because of that BS It took me a CRAZY amount of time to complete
@@Hypnocorn I found the races okay. But yeah, there's two parts that just annoy the FUCK out of me: the duel against Lotten, because you pretty much need to go first just to not die against a hand of 10 Burn cards, and having to last 1 minute against the Ghosts.
I loved WC2011. I always began a new save building a Monarch deck because you so happen to start off with Monarchs and floaters in your starter deck as well as early boosters and structures
Zad Ras guess I’ll have to play through it again to see if it’s as hard as I remember. I think what holds me back from doing that though is the card pool I have from completing the game twice over would go away, and I’m unsure whether you can get the cards they had as WiFi prizes in the actual game or not...
the 2011 was my favorite, I lost the count of how many times I beat the game from scratch to 3 copies of every card. crow is my favorite 5ds character because of how good he is in this game
I beat this game without buying any packs/structure decks + with the additional rule of not running more than one copy of a card to make the deck feel more like the Anime (except if it's effect requires it like for naturia cherries) and the deck I had at the end is probably the one I had the most fun with in my entire life
I found this challenging enough, I liked the races but fml were the clones annoying I'd always lose to zombies because plague spreader was dumb or last duelist
They were actually using competitive decks. I think the last one used TeleDAD. In this game, the final enemies use Meklords for plot reasons and Meklords suck lol.
Hey ! I have beated the story mode of this game some weeks ago, but yeah, yugioh world championship 2009 is quite hard. I use a burn deck to pass the clone part.
This actually helped me during a bad time. I was going through some nonsense and needed something to brighten my day. I watched these as they came out, and I hope he does another series like this soon.
Since there are multiple yugioh games in multiples consoles, bieng the last one of 5ds saga on ds its the best of that saga for the ds, but since there are tag force 6 for psp and tag foce special, there are more cards and characters, so its kinda hard to say WC 2011 its the best, but its kinda cool for itself
Yep, I felt that. You try to summon your first synchro to the field after your opponents turn... then they hit you with the “get that out of here” mirror force, torrential tribute, trap hole etc
Fun story about this game. It was about five years ago, and I had this all dark turbo dueling deck and I was heading into the final boss. I get to the second fight, and I'm basically entirely locked down after trying to fight the first guy so long. So, what do I draw into? The five pieces of exodia. A few years later, I want to see if I could do it again, and not only did I do it again, I did it even faster this time, thanks to a dark exodia turbo. I laughed my ASS off.
When I first played it, I beat Jose who only has 1700 LP left using a direct attck with Caam, who exactly has 1700 ATK. One of his final quotes is something about future winds or something, which kind of makes sense...? since Caam is a wind-attribute.
Oh man this is one of the few YuGiOh! Videogames I ever played, and boy did I played this, I loved it though some of the AI opponents can be totally brutal! Also the editing on this video is majestic
This is honestly my favorite YuGiOh game, beat the entire game with Six Samurais (Yep 3 Gateway Spam Yep) even replayed it like 4 times. If they added the Ark Cradle arc from the anime this would’ve been best Yu-Gi-Oh game of all time
That's to avoid cheating in a way you gotta keep the cards you pull otherwise if you wanna get something good buy the entire pack lol (even in real life you can't manipulate what cards you get) there's no point in booster pack if your just gonna abuse a mechanic to get cards you want also a way to grind a lot of dp is to keep the duel going cause the more you do the more dp you get but if you can't control the game just keep farming dp till you can buy all the packs in one set
Ooh, I like this game. Subbed! Here's a hint - since the game is really stingy with its archetypes until you finish the story, the best deck you can work towards is a graveyard focused dark synchro deck. Use cards like Armageddon Knight to send plaguspreader to the graveyard, grab yourself a dark armed dragon and Dark Nepthys. Focus on Dark Warriors mostly since they're searchable with rota and work well with other warrior support.
I didn't need to watch the whole video, I immediately knew the torment you were about to put yourself through. This (and most of the Yugioh DS Games) were incredibly, frustrating difficult, for really stupid reasons. That being said, this game was probably the last good Yugioh game I ever played. It's grindy as hell, but once you perform a miracle and beat it, you unlock all the deck types and very rapidly gain access to everything in the game, along with some really fun modes. Like the Speed Racing Mode thing, that I can't remember the name of, which they should have elaborated on more. I'm not sure if they were included in this game, but once they introduced Numbers or whatever (pretty sure it was after this game), I pretty much gave up on the entire series. Synchro Summons were interesting and sometimes broken, but manageable. I feel like all the game mechanics introduced after that were completely stupid, and just appealed more to the whole "OTK" crowd, which isn't why I dropped MTG and picked up Yugioh in the first place.
Yeah. XYZ era is when Yugioh decks truly started to revolve around Extra Deck spam. The Pendulum era though is when the game really went into powercreep overdrive with easy to summon boss monsters that had protection, powerful effects, and/or floating safety net effects.
Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V Tag Force Special on PSP is also a gem Unfortunately it was Japan only and the English translation is crude as it tries to be the abridged Animations were removed in exchange for many cards though no new anime only cards If you go to emulate it dig for the DLC files for exclusive cards and other ban lists
This was one of my favorite games as a kid. My deck sucked but I was pretty good with it so it helped. I got Cyber dragon cards but for Turbo duels I used Machina cards and it dictated the cards I used IRL lol
Watching this on stream was honestly so fucking fun, although playing a 5Ds game while named Pend Best Deck should be considered a major crime against humanity Keep it up Vlad!
This game. Oh, this game. I did not have the patience to play duel after duel at that awkward pace to get me some DP for new packs, so eventually, I just did the races, which became my favourite thing before long. Even though they're not that good. But grinding in Yu-Gi-Oh! can be a massive pain in the ass.
I honestly never had major problems with this game besides when you have to avoid those guys and not die when you're on you duel runner and that burn guy
Once you get Tuningware, Dandylion, Junk and Quickdraw Synchron, Inferno Reckless Summon, Tuning, and Machine Duplication, you can make a busted Synchro Warrior Deck that no CPU can deal with. Just grind all packs to 100% as you unlock them to makeshift some scrappy decks.
This game was a pain to beat. Somehow I was able to combo a finish in the final duel and almost pooped myself when I won. And dont get me started on the stupid races. Ugh.
I beat this game when it came out I think and yah, it was hard.. but I wish they'd make more YuGiOh games LIKE this, with actual gameplay and movement and a world to explore and a story to follow... you know, just better quality :D
Omg i loved those games as a child! Played the 2010 one through, like, three times at least Also, i memorize always feeling really dumb for taking forever with some duells and especially the quizzes, so I'm glad to see that the game indeed is difficult even for experienced players lol
Ah yes, i remeber this exact thing 12 years ago, Minegishi is a trap character, his deck is waaaay more advanced for that point in the game compared to other NPCs,
Love that series Completed like a mofo stardust 2009 with around 400hrs Hate the fact a glitch doesn’t let you buy all the structures decks various times to get extra copy’s of great cards but loved it
The fact that YT gave me this as a recommendation, apparently goes to show that someone has never played 2009 Stardust Accelerator... I had it and lost it a decade ago, nowadays I just play the emulators on Drastic for 09, 10, and 11...
Pft. Wait until the ghost fight. I know he already finished at this point. I'm making a joke about how the ghost fight is a random difficulty spike that requires you to let him summon a meklord emperor to advance the story. I first turned a stardust once and prevented him from self nuking to summon the boi but it made me repeat the duel even though I won. No I'm not over this.
I don't know if you already know this but I'm gonna say it anyway. BIG SPOILER WARNING HERE: try to get exodia for the final story duel. You can cheese the shiet out of it while using exodia since for the last duel your hands and field stay the same through the 3 duels you are going to fight. So card like exodia and destiny board should work but final countdown don't. And if I'm not wrong you can actualy use it to cheese every game in the story with that same duel struckture in the tournament arc, which mostly consist of speed dueling against 3 opponent. So yeah exodia solitare is realy good.
Saying this game is impossible is a major overstatement as there’s really only one duel that requires you to use something other than the starter but with minor changes. Seriously I beat this game with a deck that would make even new players cry with how inconsistent it was.
I found that the Six Samurai structure deck is the best for the majority of the game. The only Duel that gave me trouble was Kalin with his Infernity deck.
tbh, iplayed all 3 ds tiles of the Story and i'm 100% sure the AI cheats. Everytime i summon a monster they have fking monster traps, i use spells, spell traps and so on...
I was never able to beat this one dude with Meklord. Because the fucking conditions to beat him was to use a fucking Meklord, which I could never find.
Man this is nostalgic. I remember in the game before this the cards they start you with are way shittier lol. I remember the last boss was pretty easy as you get to keep your board state for 3 duels in a row.
I hate how common Bottomless, Torrential and Mirror Force are in this game. To top it of, you usually won't have access to these cards for quite a while, but the AI will have them before you do. My Body As A Shield is a very underrated tech card because of all the monster destruction. bullshit.
Ah.. Good old days.. I remember i won't proceed with the story unless i got Brionac, Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon and of course build a decent deck to summon them quickly.. Or else it's hell.. Especially if you play the 2009 too.. It's a lot harder than the 2010 and 2011.. And yeah.. Be wary of face down cards 😂
My best achievement in this game was beating the game with a surprisingly good deck, i wasn’t trying to be competitive so i built a deck with stuff like breaker the magical warrior three blue eyes with no ultimate because i didnt know how to get one and like two dark magicians and two buster bladers and one paladin and a lot of other stuff yet i did well and completely obliterated the wrgp and sadly i wasnt able to duro monstah cardo with breaker but i did it with delta flyer and destroyed the second team with that and berserker soul
I've always hated fighting Minegishi. He is the definition of never underestimating your early game opponents. His deck mostly has powerful monsters like Chaos Sorcerer, Caius and Cyber Dragon. Stuff you'd expect to face later in the game, not when you have a garbage deck. He also has 1 Gorz just to cock block you out of nowhere. Runs all the powerful staple spells and traps just to rub it on your face. The only shitty monster Mine runs is Maenae The Thorn for some weird reason. Everything else except maybe Mystic Tomato was competitively viable back when the game came out. Deck rating of 780 my ass. Mine will be constantly kicking your ass when you start off and will still be a decent opponent after you finish building a good deck.
I want someone to mod the game and make it so that every time you duel someone the game assigns you a random pre made deck from a selection of all the premade decks all the A.I.s in the game use
Been there. Done that. Gotta say though: it is a good game. Only reason i haven't palyed it anymore since 2012 is bc now i'm too used to newer cards and want to add those in my deck. Weird, i know.
I can't remember which version I played, it's been quite a while. I do remember near midway or towards the end, you had to duel 5 clones of yourself and win all 5 in a row.
Everybody gangster until your opponent activates Torrential Tribute.
Nobody tell him that all the decks in the game are running bottomless trap hole
I learned this the hard way

Exodia ftk

Team New World? I used Appropriate Exodia to beat them with ease!
This but with Genex

Especially if you play the 2009 too.. It's a lot harder than the 2010 and 2011.. And yeah.. Be wary of face down cards 😂
Just did a play through of this- six samurai and you will be set my friend
This is the best Yu-Gi-Oh game
I beat this game and the amount of time i put into it is criminal
I remember this, i ended it last year almost at christmas
I do remember near midway or towards the end, you had to duel 5 clones of yourself and win all 5 in a row.
no that's the 2009 one
How do you deal with the wait times in this game? Opponent's take 20 seconds every turn to do nothing
