The view you have is amazing. No winder you love sitting at your table out there. Pinterest! OMG Pinterest is like Crack for any handy person. I could pass hours looking through Pinterest. there's so much creativity in there. I'm looking forward to your shop build. Thx for taking us along on your journey. Have a great day!
Great story time. lol poor Delta you are such a tease. Though I consider myself a fairly intelligent person electricity baffles me. The whole volts to watts to amps to kilowatt hours. So I am interested to see what you do and how it goes.
On your shop, it's a really good idea to run 220. If you ever need it you have it! You may want a welding machine, most stick welders require 220. It will give you two legs to run your circuits on. By the way, I no longer get notifications when you post a video.
I would do the 240 now as opposed to later. Besides the things mentioned in the other comments going 240 will tend to keep your 120 volts more evenly balanced reducing the potential of overloading your power system.
Lovely there lived there with daughter for ten years had to move out couldnt get out to go to work only animals ever saw was deer tracks of mointsun lion scragly racoon
Abram, 220 depends a lot on what you want to do. I'd run it now, as opposed to doing it later, because you'll never do it. A welder, a table saw, a bandsaw would all run much better on 220. If you already have these items, or don't plan on having them, then you may not need them. Just consider it's easier to add them in the beginning then later when you decide you go to purchase a table saw, and find one that requires 220v A welder will work much better on 220v. You're not going to weld? What about needing some welding done, and have someone that can do it, but they need 220v? If you plan ahead you can be frugal, but cover what may come.
Love daydreaming on the internet at remodels for ideas. I am going to remodel my old mobile home but COVID and lumber prices and shortages have me delaying the start. Can't delay to long, need to do it while I can still see to do the work.

A wielder uses 220 volts an air compressor can use 220. more economical..some thoughts.I would run 220. Possible 100 amps panel.
