Great job Dillon! I've watched quite few pomp videos and a lot of people cast out and stake the rod with a healthy bend in the rod. Once the rod stands up it's a good indication of a bite. Don't know how you can function on that little sleep haha. Oh, to be young again!!

For pompano it's best to cook them whole! Beach fishing can be tough but it does payoff. If you ever fish of the pier, the gotcha lures catches these guys a bunch. I catch them all the time at PCB
