This still sounds just as good now as it did 40 years ago, the FM synthesis and lofi PCM drums is what is good abou older keyboards, organs, synthesizers and drum machines. I also have a Yamaha PSS-790 ( 2 actually because one is a replacement and the original is a spare ) but I like the fact that even the PSS-790 sounds lofi by today's standards although not quite as lofi as the PS-6100, the older and more lofi it sounds the better.
Well FM is unique and recognizable, its pure 80s atmosphere. About lo-fi, compared to nowadays samples that drum is really lo-fi, but really hi-fi in 1984 when the keyboard was released and most of similar machines still had analog drums.
