That reminds me a little bit of what we used to do on PC/Amiga with trackers :) Having the live looping editor with knobs is a very cool feature and allows for such creativity! Thanks for this Claudio!
Ciao, yes, i always remember the early 90's, when i composed some tracker songs with protracker and oktalyzer.. many greetings from brunswick in Germany and please stay safe 🙃

- 800 euro, that's 500 too much as you can have a roland P-6 for 200 - 100mb user memory and 100mb proprietary flash card to buy separately ?!?! - 10 voices - mini keys Meanwhile in the 90s you had 64+ voice samplers with user expandable drives
This is one time where I’d say, no. I love vintage. This is affordable, when compared to other boutique synths. A truly deep Sampler/Sketchpad. You’re buying the ease of use with this unit. The workflow has me jealous when I compared it to some of my vintage samplers. Seems like these are gonna be an amazing deal on the secondhand market as well. And for once it’s not microscopic like every other piece of modern gear. I’m just impressed. Whether I would ever buy one? Probably not
Until you sampled the Rhodes at the end there was nothing about this synth that made me want to buy it. There still isn’t, as there are countless pieces of gear that can do that. Normally, when you demo something, you get some incredible groove going and make whatever it is shine, not even you could make this thing sound interesting. On the up side, it means I won’t be raiding my Polybrute 12 savings to buy one….keep up the good work DM 🎶🤟🎶
that is actually really interesting. as a regen owner i wouldnt need it, but man is it nice and versatile... Claudio you really need to try REGEN out by the way, but it wont be that easy to pllay around with, your gonna have to spend some time studying that monster generator system... the reversed italian hbd trick is really impressive indeed.
I'm pretty lazy and I love to have instruments that get to a job with minimal faffing around. For this reason I don't tend to use DAWs. I prefer hardware. I've been looking for something that's just a straight up sample synth that isn't stupidly expensive or part of something else. This may be exactly what I want to go with my Elektron Model:Samples.
Blimey! First Espen Kraft, then Starsky Carr, now, it’s Doctor Mix! Wofi is definitely catching on! At the turn of September into October 2024, I was becoming tempted, having yet to own a sample playback device with its own audio input for sampling, to purchase the Casio FZ-20M module. Wofi here would almost seem to do the same thing and a whole lot more, not to mention that it is brand new as of 2024. It would make more sense than buying one that is 37 years old and potentially subject to malfunction.
2 octaves and mini keys....please....But Yes, the little box can do a lot and is extremely transportable and doesn't take up much space anywhere and will therefore find its customers.

I asked the question directly to the guys: 1.0 had issues with some networks setup, but everything back to normal in 1.0.1 and the rest corrected in 1.0.2... well nothing new, it's a while I have'nt had a new gear without need to update before use, especially for early series (the last I had was the osmoz and the astrolab..)

nice, but I think its price is absolutely out of the market. It costs as much as an MPC key 37...😱
I've seen better, but still cool.
And that’s the day I discovered you were Italian!
Bella li!
Nothing tops the sound of that Rhodes 😎
Nothing sounds like that Moog 😁✌️

The Trackers on Amiga could (unfortunately) do more than the WoFi can (at the moment).
@manfredalbrecht648 yes, but the soundquality was Not the best on the Amiga, 8 Bit in Mono, 4 Channel..

I love it when you use this keyboard. When you have fun with the samples, you looked like Peter Gabriel having fun with the Fairlight.
Nice it has good old MIDI.
very cool piece of gear. simple, intuitive, instant creativity.
You had me at live battery wireless speaker! With a sequencer 😮😮💪🏽🔥🔥🔥
Shout out to your camera man. He's quick on his feet. Used this trick with focus and zoom when sound became surreal.

Yep. A 25 year old sampler like Triton or Fantom or an Akai has better features

The Rhodes really added a lot of mileage to that cute little synth -what a great combo!
Bril synth hours of fun enjoy . Love the versatility of it. Thanks for sharing.❤️🙏.
Perfect synth for Halloween 🎃
When the airy flute came on my mind immediately went to Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer.
Wow this is fun!!! I better see you on this at NAMM again 💪🏽😁🎹

Would be nice to hear it in a jam.

Coooool video, and some nice litte "dollyzooms". Like it! 👍
That is awesome, you make me want one of them..

Well done kiviak. Both for the product and for putting it in Dr.Mix's hands.
Wonderful synth 🤘🏼
Looks fun.
Vidéo très cool ! Merci beaucoup !!!
Walrus, who makes guitar pedals, does the thing with the poloroid as well and writes a personal Thank You note on it. Oh, also Gibson.

This keyboard reminds me a cross between a Fisher Price keyboard , Arturia midi keyboard with a bit of Teenage Engineering OP1 thrown in..
You had me at present 1 😂
Makes me thinking about "Revolution", Jean-Michel Jarre.
If I had to recreate it, I'd use this little wonder.

Cool !!!
But don't have MIDI pin? Could you connect a controller keyboard?
WOFI has CV input, Gate input, CV output, modulation output, gate output and MIDI in, out, through DIN+USB
it's like, you just made us a lesson on how sci-fi sounds were made in the 80s hahahaha
The price of this isn't too bad, under 680 quid pre-order, I may have to get one.
