Our wedding was a 2 day event. In today’s video we looking at me leaving my grandparents home and being welcomed into my NEW home - Okalongo.

Hopefully, by God's grace, next year start of better so I can also film more. 2021 started off on a very bad note and unfortunate events kept happening one after another......it was very demotivating to film, especially like daily life contents. Nonetheless, we remain positive about the future😊

Do u keep all those baskets and traditional pots or is it just ceremonial?
We actually do keep them hey, they are yours. I got the same stuff if not more back home and relying still had a mini reception on my dad’s side where I got some again..and then what I got here again.
The elders told me they will come in handy in years to come so I should really keep them safe.

One of my fav aunts was so shocked at how bubbly I still was as they said goodbye 😂😂😂
One thing, I don’t really feel like I’ve left home..as in, I can still see my people when I want to. I think what made it better is the fact that I’m not based in the north so I don’t really get to feel it that much.
The gifts - the ones I got back home, I left some with my grandparents and brought some with to okalongo. Anything I felt would be useful this side, I brought it with.
Otherwise they are just home now. I’ve heard they’ll come in handy as time goes.
