Hi Linda, have you considered collecting seeds from the wax begonia for next year and sowing them indoors? Also try over wintering your begonias as bare root in paper bags. It is so much easier to store them this way and you don’t have to worry about critters and pots taking up space in your house/greenhouse. I’m trying both this year and will see what happens next spring!
Oh my goodness. I finally came to town and had my daughter take me by your house to drive by. It’s Wednesday and you were getting in the car with Stewart. I was so excited to get to see your beautiful yard in person. Thank you for all you do to teach us. The whole neighborhood is fabulous. 💕
Move the new baby Redbud tree. Too close to front entry foundation. Relocate it or put in a big pot & keep close to where it is so you can move it easily as it gets bigger.
Glad to see you leave trees that sprout in your yard. There's a lot said about planting trees but not much about leaving trees that sprout to grow. I'm for leaving the red bud.
I feel you, Linda, with your scary sounds in the middle of the night!! I was in a hotel suite, at a retreat in the woods, by myself, (most other retreat participants were down by the lake in cabins, so I was the only one in that part of the property in a hotel suite.) I had been reading a true crime book before going to bed, and then heard loud bangs several times throughout the night. I couldn’t find ANYTHING making the sounds. Terrifying! The next morning, I opened the refrigerator and saw that throughout the night, the cans of soda had frozen and exploded one by one. I had turned the fridge colder the night before because the drinks didn’t seem very cold. Not cold enough for you? Just turn that little knob towards COLD 🔄 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ 😂😂😂
Well, you seem to be fond of the redbud so I would let it grow and like you said see what it looks like. Hopefully it will bloom!! They are very hearty for sure. I have one that came up here in North Carolina in place that was not a good place. We cut it back very low and it came right back. I am thinking about steaking it and pulling it over out of the way and see how that works. Your garden is so pretty!! I have enjoyed your channel so much!!
I have a question for Linda or any other gardener to please help me... I planted a lot of boxwoods in pots this summer. How do I protect them from the harsh winter conditions (in Ontario, Canada) or do I just leave them where they are to harden and see what survives after the winter. I nursed them through the summer and a few blight episodes and feel a little protective over them!😉🌳
I think you should let it grow a little bit...but not too big because your plumbing to your bathroom is near by. But a small tree would look cute there!
The rainwater will fill up the remainings of the dahlias. Better till the ground and an extra layer of compost to keep them protected. I leave already 4 years Dahlia tubers in the ground.

Saw this video a few days ago.
Why?
Ok by me, I didn’t see it previously!

We saw you! White SUV? -Stewart
Stewart is brilliant, brilliant. 😂❤

Saw this video a day or two ago, but still love it 🥰!!!!!!!!!!

The redbudd volunteer needs to stay.
Its a gift from heaven.
Leave it and enjoy it.
Yes. This is a repeat from 4 days ago.
Why?
Already saw this ❤
Id let the Redbud grow into a small tree that can canopy your porch & boxwood balls, and give some shade to the front of your house.

😂😂😂
I say leave the redbud. Just wait and see. You have nothing to lose , but perhaps have a beautiful new one ❤️
I would leave the redbud tree in place for now. You can always remove it later if it doesn’t work out.😊
Yes let it grow!
Uh oh. A rerun?
Nature is so wondrous! So neat about those wisteria pods!
Trying to figure out why this is running again .....
The dappled shade the redbud would probably give sounds divine to me, I’d sure go for that. Does it need staked to grow in the right direction?

I would dig up the tubers.
saw this already recently
You should keep the cedar redwood tree keep it it’ll give you shade for the window box and your porch front porch. I would keep it.
I'm like the girl in the movie, 50 First Dates, so I am fine with this! 😊
I would move the redbud. So close to stairs.😊

I would move the Redbud before it gets too big!
Oiii! This video 5 day ago - "Garden Musts For Fall And a Scary Story'!!!! A scary story is the story of wisteria shooting in the night!!!!
Red buds get large , not good spot for it and really ! really ! hard to dig out . Suckers pop up all over my yard . Have a good day .
Leave it be!
Could I ask where is the other girl in your team?
Gone I hope
Linda mentioned Leah had other opportunities come up. They left on good terms.

Tot ceea ce trebuie sàfaci este tunderea crenguțelor care ating pàmàntul deoarece ele produc mucegai in perioada de iarnà.
