Why are so many races missing? The 1996 open horse pace is not on here? There are others missing I thought this would show every Breeders crown race in history. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!.
It upsets me to see horses forced into racing having to adopt a gait which is unnatural to their normal cross patterned galloping action. Who decided that it was necessary to break away from the natural way of racing horses?
Tom Read certain breeds are born to do certain gaits. every horse has the ability to trot and some horses have the ability to pace. it all comes down to their wild ancestors who were naturally gaited with either of these. so no it is not forced, it is an inborn ability
@@MsAggie78 if you are talking about the pacing hobbles that is put on them to prevent their gait from accidentally disuniting and potentially hurting themselves or others horses

Trotters and pacers were racing long before the flats. Do some homework before criticizing something you don’t understand 😉
