Being in film school, when making music videos you have to have a playback track to make sure the singers lips are in sync with the track. So yes she's not actually singing when the video was being made. But in most singers cases they sing along to the track to make it as real as possible. Even when the video is completed the track is used to go over the clips to make the vocals and instruments as clear as possible.
