Le sserafim always bring something new and the members do a lot of work behind the scenes on the music and the concepts it really shows thru with their messaging
One thing about Le sserrafim is their other songs on the album are somehow more popular and loved maybe even more than their main title tracks. If you want a few recommendations Blue flame and Impurities are more laidback but also have really nice melodies. No celestial, fire in the belly and the great mermaid are more high tension type songs. There are a lot more but those are probably the most popular/loved.
@@Damfamm Each of the figures in the title were women who did something they were told not to do. In each of the examples, it's about having blind faith in a male figure. You're a woman - don't ask questions, just do what you're told. And when they go against that, it leads to their downfall in one way or another. The stories are traditionally told as a cautionary tale, but this song is about celebrating those women who questioned authority and decided to think for themselves, make their own decisions in life.
5:59: they actually have shared that they love to experiment with new sounds and often take inspiration from other artists they like and want to make music in similar genres. This song was likely inspired by woman by Doja and other afropiano songs. It did unfortunately come out at a time where Tyla was blowing up so people said they were copying her but easy has been teased and worked on since before Tyla started getting popular so it was already in the works they just unfortunately got heat for a coincidencal release time 😔
5:59 People like to say they were just copying Tyla because she was popular, and that they just follow what is trendding. But le sserafim has always been experimenting with different genres/dancing styles. Antifragile was a reggaeton track, they brought in reggaeton producers. Easy they brought in a New jersey(?) trap producer. Crazy they brought in a NY voguing house for the MV, and there's also the dashaun wesley remix. The list goes on. It's just their approach to music.
just a fyi most kpop stans and even some stans of hybe groups hate to admit it or will pull up every excuse to deny it. but hybe groups have A LOT of creative freedom compared to the other labels in kpop so a lot of the music is connected to the idols themselves whether it be their writing/composing/producing or them telling the writers and producers their stories or ideas or relating to lyrics on a deep level after discussions with writers so even if the song isnt their creation it feels very authentic similarly to american pop stars who dont write we believe them when they sing cause they relate somehow to the songs.
Should do to react to le sserafim performance Ema Mama performance Mma performance And some other performance hahahah i want y'all to see how le sserafim dance haha
eve, psyche and the bluebeard's wife are known mythological women that had so much curiosity and did something they weren't supposed to do, so in the song that's why they keep bringing the "i wish for what's forbidden". to me, they talk about following their curiosity no matter what (to know the real truth), like the 3 women did🤍
"Easy" is a bit misleading unless you get the rest of the "lore". There's really only a single line in the song that gives away the true meaning. Something about "a swan in the water whippin'". You have to follow the rest of the tracks. This would obviously point you to "swan song", another song from the same album. Here's some selected lyrics: "The only thing that I got were wounds Whip it, whip, I never rested I was dancing to survive... It's not easy, but I keep on swimming... I'll pretend to be elegant Dive like a swan even though I'm out of breath" 'Smart" is not only somewhat connected to this message, particularly the line: "Some say, "That's all luck," I say, "No, it's not luck" My sweat is not lying, lying" The reference to "a swan in the water whippin" is about how a swan looks so graceful and elegant and effortless from above the water, but if you see them below water, their feet are furiously kicking away. This is apparently a somewhat well-known metaphor, maybe moreso in the east. So it means they "make it look easy" - it LOOKS easy, but that's only because they spent countless hours and gallons of sweat practicing to get it perfect. Sakura even said before on a variety show that she's not a good dancer, she just practices a lot. She failed to learn the riize "get a guitar" choreography in the time limit. But she ended up performing it at fearnada to redeem herself lol. She did really well. That's kind of the premise of their documentary "make it look easy". They always like to show the trials the artists go through. The vulnerable side of them. To make you see that idols are human too. But that there's beauty in overcoming those challenges and growing stronger.
I think you guys woupd really love nct. Their known as THE swag boys. Their 23 but in diffent units. I reccoment reacting to the walk dance practice, universe dance practice, perfume performance version, brokem melodies mv, beatbox mv
