  • Victoria Coates is vice president of the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy at The Heritage Foundation. Before joining Heritage, Coates served as deputy national security advisor to President Donald Trump and advised Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette. Prior to joining the Trump administration, Coates served as a national security advisor for Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Governor Rick Perry, and Senator Ted Cruz.
