Was recently fit into the TPT Power Range 18 Lo in driver, 17 HI in 3 Wood and 17 LO in 5 hybrid. Better dispersion and longer than my Diamana ZF 60 S in driver, Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7S in 3 Wood and Fujikura 85 HY Stiff. These shafts are frickin amazing!
Great review! How would the Hi and Lo models be compared with a hzrdus smoke black? I would assume the Lo would be similar? Many thanks and keep up with the great content
The Lo is slightly stiffer tip but is a lot more tip balanced. The Hi has a similar balance point to the Hzrdus Smoke Black (upper mid) but is a softer profile
Thanks. The Power Range Hi series is a more responsive feel and slightly higher launch, the Tensei Blue is a stiffer tip profile so slightly lower spin but the Power Range Lo is stiffer again in the tip and lower spin but swings much heavier in the tip end too so requires a more aggressive move in the main to work.
Thank you for the reply. Given your knowledge on shafts and experience what ventus or tour ad line shafts do you feel is most similar to the av raw blue 55 stiff but may give little more stability and distance with similar feel, mid/mid characteristics and weight?
@@jasondipasquale8960Try the Graphite Design Tour AD HD. Can pick them up used in the US these days for $150-$200. It is a tremendous shaft. I went to the AD HD from a Tensei AV Raw Blue in my driver and it has really paid off with more consistency and excellent distance.
Asked a guy in Golf Superstore today if he had heard of TPT shafts. He said he hadn't. Thinking he was covering for the regular shaft companies. Kind of surprised.
The TPT nitro is more akin to the Ventus TR in terms of stiffness profile but swings lighter (slightly higher balance point). The Power Ali flight-wise is similar to Ventus Blue but it a little heavier in the tip so might feel more solid and the Power Hi is the softest feeling and highest flight and again is a slightly higher balance point to the Ventus Blue
I have ss around 95 mph, used AF but was too much spin. Changed to Tensei Blue 55 g R and alternatively HZRDUS smoke green IM 10 mid - better results but still not optimal. Would you recommend TPT 18 Lo or BGT Brava? Both are pricey and I won’t be able to try . Therefore what’s your educated guess ?
Both will feel pretty stout in comparison so bear that in mind. If you are looking for a 55g - 60g low spin shaft then the Ventus Velocore+ is also a good option
It is only available in the LAB putters currently so we feel not worth reviewing yet - as well as no one can get it as a stand alone shaft as things stand
The Nitro should spin less based on structure, however if the Power range shaft swings better for you it may produce a more efficient spin instead. Always go in what works best rather than just the theory/design as it does not always match up for each player!
Yes it is, but if you have mid to high handicap like me, the power range tend to actually produce better results and for half the price. I've played with 16's and 20 or 21's and for most of the shots Power seemed to achieved better flight paths and much easier to handle.

They are great quality and when fit well too seriously perform
Can I ask you, what your swingspeeds are?
@@TheSaNiOnE My driver swing speed during my fitting was between 100 - 104 MPH.

@jasondipasquale8960 Distance is no guarantee but extra stability would be the VF-5 Graphite Design (stiffer tip) or Ventus Blue 5.
@jasondipasquale8960 Feel-wise the most similar might be the Tour Ad HD-5 though

You’re probably right. If you work with shafts or have an interest in shafts they’re quite a household name now.
How would you compare it to the ventus blue and tr blue

Is the Nitro Shaft £650?
Hi Richard. It certainly is up around that ball park
