Yeah! I was at Ultra Croatia in 2013. I saw him many times since then, but this set is always engraved in my mind. Our boy is not ageing well, unfortunately.

totally agreed unfortunately, except his funradio live experience set, his newer livesets are very unoriginal and repetitive, i rarely hear something new and interesting from him, his older livesets are the best

I was at Ultra Europe last year for this set and also this year. This set IMO was the best set of the festival. The set he played this year was utter garbage. It's amazing how things can change in 12 months.

I do like his new sets. some songs in his new album embrace are trance if not trancey. point is a lot more drops and pauses in his new sets than steady built melodies. I know trance has a loose definition, but the day Armin starts going b2b w skrillex or flosstradamus is where I draw the line at what trance may be lol. "Are you ready for a state of trance!?" (drops mosh pit)
maybe I will try to listen more clearly, but comparing this ultra set to the edc set of the same year... there is significantly less trance.

For me its one of the few dj's who can create a vibe and enjoy when he's playing a set. But the pure trance scene has changed . Lets just enjoy good music and embrace it !! But love this set !! ( also with some drops :)
