      Yes..The other name of alternator is synchronus generator...

      Because in 2.22 emf equation we take no of conductors

      When we take number of coil side per phase(Zp) instead of taking Coils per phase(Tp).
      then we take 2.22 instead of taking 4.44 in the equation.
      Beacuse two Coil sides of armature connected in series form a single Coil. Zp=2Tp

      @@ziadhossain6010 Dear friend explanation is very easy. Two conductor make one turn. Hence the total number of trun will be half of the total number of cunduct present in the same machine. So we take 2.22 in the EMF equation when considering the total number of conductor present in the machine.

      @@soumyakantanayak1439 But my confusion is now clear . Let me explain , suppose there are 50 turns in a coil when you multiply with 2 you get 100 which is the number of conductors and that is absolutely correct with the given equation.

      There are Zp conductors in series and we know that one turn(coil) has two sides, Hence it is Zp=2Tp.

      Sahi kaha bhai because one trun is formed by two Coil sides (generally consider number of conductor connected in series and technically consider effective length of conductor connected in series)
      And coil is formed by such n number of trun or 2*n number of coil side.
      Thus Zp=2Tp is correct for the relation between Coil side and number of truns
