On Xenomorph Prime a natural predator evolved that preyed on Xenomorphs.
I don't mind it. It fits with the Preds having to fight for their honor and status as the Ultimate Hunters. I do hate the suggestion that the Preds stole their tech from a more advanced species. The Preds as thieves is a concept I can't really get behind.
Well considering (the 2018 Abomination of a movie The Predator) not withstanding...even stealing kills is considered a no-no in predator society. So I would expect that stealing tech falls under that same concept.

@@antonioperez6386 the Yautja are tribal they are Klans living like primitive societies yep they are honorable but they are not a productive society they are not creators they are the Masters of the Hunt they took their high tech from a superior race interms of productivity and intelligence after the uprising of the Alpha Yautja Kael the first hunter the religion of the Yautja is an obstacle for them to evolve in many ways don't forget the Klan Wars the Code of Honor makes them a primitive uncivilised species just like the NOBLE SAVAGE...
Its not considered theft imo. It’s more like they inherited the tech. I mean, I just can’t see suit and tie Predators going to work and building these ships and weapons. Do they have janitor Preds? They all seem like the normal hunters we know them as. Not accountants or engineers or physics professors… You can even rationalize them seizing the tech as a great accomplishment because they obviously won against whoever. I could maybe see some kind of symbiotic species that evolved along with them and they created the technology and maybe just died off. We have no idea how old their race is. Last thing i wanna say is that in the Wing Commander series the antagonist Kilrathi did exactly that. Stole a species tech that actually helped them then wiped them out.
Why hate it? It's no different than ancient earth civilizations adapting the technology of lands they conquered, although in a far more technologically superior sense
I like the concept of the Drukathi they add more mystery to the Alien/Predator universe. An ancient civilization much more technically advanced and more dangerous than the Yautja trying to keep humans from advancing is interesting.

Information is very limited in the novels. I tried to get as much as I can. It's really just an ancient alien race superior to all the others.
The lore in this universe is convoluted but one thing mentioned in a few places is that the Engineers created the Xenomorphs (or adapted them if they evolved on Xeno Prime) as a weapon. It would be interesting if these Drukathi were the enemy the Engineers were fighting and that the species influenced by the Engineers were weapons in that war.
Since Prometheus shows Engineers creating humans and both Yautja and Xenos have traits in common with us it may also be the case that the advanced species of the galaxy had been augmented by the Engineers as a failsafe should the Drukathi return.
I rather like the idea of more races. It shouldn't be just humans and Xeno's all the time. Yeah, we got the Engineers thrown in, but it wouldn't hurt to have another intelligent race thrown in once in a while.
I also love how there is an actual, wheel chair ridden Yautja in that 3 book series. I can't recall the name... not Hishori, though.

The drucathi are so advanced they're beyond anything a human can imagine. They left the milkyway galaxy and the predators are afraid to interfere with them.

I like the notion of a higher, more powerful species than what's thought to be one of the most apex species in the galaxy. It gives the possibility of more stories, movies, comics etc. Provided they are written well. There's a lot of possibility for great stories

I think the Drukathi should remain vague, menacing & confined to literature based on Tim Lebbon's work. Now that I've seen what happened to the Yautja when overexposed - and what Ridley Scott did (or didn't do) with the Engineers, I'm convinced the Drukathi concept could be a boon to the mythos but only if they're handled with a 'less is more'-approach. Infer their backstory through archeology and by studying their technology rather than destroying their mystique with a solid history. Maybe they were benevolent, maybe they were insidious, maybe they were so incredibly alien that we could never define them so easily. Leave it unanswered. The Yautja are an interstellar hunter/warrior tribal society with rules and codes of honor and a bunch of other easily understood cliches. The Engineers are galactic mad scientists that throw a bitchfit and destroy their projects when they don't turn out right (thanks, Ridley, that was SO worth the wait) so if we ever want any dark mystery brought back to this franchise then the Drukathi should remain largely mythical.
No Drukathi needs to be exposed too just like in Stargate franchise Goa'uld and then we learned about Ancients.

I thought the xenos were controlled by ancient synths returning to the Milky Way.. And their main weapon was the xenos.. In Rage War.. Only read those books once gotta reread them, it looks.. Edit: Yep, i was wrong.. Its the Founders i was thinking of.. An ancient human group returning with tech light years beyond even what the yautja have… They do have android/ synths among their ranks though.. The androids act as generals for the xenos..

Had to comment before even finishing the video, I'm not even half way thru; can we get this species of old extraterrestrials and bring it to the next movie of predators and make it so it's humans vs predators and then we found about them and both fight against one, and the last movie we throw I don't know Xenomorphs
Yautjas fear nothing, not even death. The Drukathi sounds like hardcore fan fiction and the author seems to use the Yautjas as a measure stick which I find funny considering the Drukathi got their ass whooped by the xenos and had to fly away into dark space which puts them below the Yautjas by default.

I really enjoyed the Rage war series.
They are very similar to the Engeniers
Sadly we'll probably never get to see an adaptation on the big screen with the Drukathi.
The problem now is that many casual movie goers have no idea of the time line for Aliens, Predators and the Engineers...Imagine sitting down trying to plot out the sequence in chronological order lol.
I was honestly annoyed by Alien Covenant, Prometheus left us all geared up to see the Engineers home world in the sequel only to have the idiot android wipe them out. It was pointless and a stupid turn for the franchise.
I know I'm digressing here but I really do think about this often...
What about a Lord of the Rings trilogy length style of movies 1-3 or possibly a series that gives us a real detailed look on how all 5 races interact with each other. Introduce the Aliens tearing into a human colony somewhere in outer space. Somehow right before the attack they learn that the Xenomorphs are being flown in on ships commandeered by none other than the Drukathi. (Since that was their goal anyway to stop the human races advancement into space). Next somehow introduce the Predators as in suffering the same problem in their home world with the Drukathi attacks possibly have a parle with the humans and the predators as a way to come together against a common threat. And just as the Colonial Marines & Predators (Also include kalatka the leader of the predators) get ready to meet on a distant battle field against the Xenomorphs and Drukathi (We also need to have the elusive Xenomorph King which is a larger more battle ready alien than even the Queen. I'm not sure if the Drukathi have a distinct leader but if so he or she should be there as well. Just as all hell breaks loose something happens...an arrival by a 5th race who enter into the final great war, none other than the Engineers.
This is just a little sketch but honestly this movie if done correctly would knock the ball out of the park.

I have never heard of these creatures before, brings to mind the Engineers from Alien. I don't think that they are related to one another but perhaps they existed in the same stage of civilizational development in the Cosmos. I say stage because the beings that existed in this time period were seemingly guided by completely different concepts and way of life than us kinda like the difference between geologic time periods here on Earth such as the Jurassic or the Permian.

I wish the writers of the Predator Comics and Books would also focus on other Species i stead of just the Aliens. The Drukath is would have been hunting them instead of the other way around. That would be film worthy. Also how about other species not yet seen in the movies or books. Alien Creators seem to not respect interaction with Predators as Canon so screw them and focus on new species. Too bad we never seen .ore of them.

If there's one thing that's annoying about the Predator novels, it's a lack of cohesive lore. Nearly every book series has conflicting lore on the Yautja. My personal favorite lore comes from the Predator: Prey trilogy. That's where it all began.
So a Drucathi ship crashed and the aliens killed off the crew? lol NICE.....I don't mind this ancient race along with their awesome tech but you can't give them that much of an upper hand so the fact that aliens chomped on the crew shows that it still doesn't matter whether you are alien, predator, or Drucathi. ...at any given time any one of these races can step up and do the killing, so that no single race is too far fetched to be fucked with. Also, Yautja can kill humans at a rate of like 50 to 1 , just estimating example , in trying to point out the gap between humans and predators. The gap is just as big , give or take between humans and aliens. The Yautja and alien gap is much smaller though, Yautjas hunt aliens for sport but on occasion also get killed. I'm hoping this Drucathi race is much closer to Predators than preds to humans, it has to be since Yautja fought them before. That would be for one hell of a movie , make it like the Twilight Saga crap, 5 movies and 14+ hours. But instead of TS make it about Engineers, Drucathi, Predators, aliens AND humans lol yes All 5 races, throw Predalien, Ultimate Predator, few super predator bad bloods, Greybacks clan, Dutch, Royce, Ancient Predator , The Grand elder , Harrington and the last guy from The predator that survived. ......and THEN WE HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO
almost forgot , can also throw Tom Cruise in his robot suit from the Edge of Tomorrow movie into this 5 movie special about 5 races and we are good to go.
