Scar, I could be mistaken, but I think Cleo was struggling with her real life knowledge of the science behind a tesla coil conflicting with the fact that she has a fondness for steampunk. Real life took over for a moment and she was muttering about it not being how a tesla coil actually works, then she came back to her senses and remembered minecraft is not real life so tesla technology can do weird things because it is a part of the fiction here. :) you can take the zombie out of the classroom, but can you take the classroom out of the cleo?
You could put a wooden hoe with one durability in an armor stand behind glass for a " break in case of emergancy " moment, but breaking glass with your hand takes time so the hermits would have to decide if they wanted to take that time or not. It wouldn't be super high risk/ high reward but it would be cute.
as an ex-chef, overcooked is exactly what the industry is like xD literally being uncomfortable all day, everyday, is accurate, haha. Industry accurate gaming is what i enjoy the most

The players could get a book where all the different “game setups” are listed and colour-coded on the difficulty (like green-yellow-red) and there would be a mode on each page that describes what will change in this mode. (Few walls, few customers) Green-2: Snack bar/ The restaurant introduced an afternoon menu and people want to try it out. Don’t worry, don’t panic, it’s simple (Few walls, simple orders like water and bread) Green-3: Friday Night/ It’s the rush! There’s a lot of people arriving tonight, and guess what? They are HUNGRY! Overcooked is a party game, Tango. The chaos is 100% intentional and I adore playing it with my friends. The game stops being fun once you actually get good at it, and it's not nearly as fun single player. I like Plate Up too, but for very different reasons. I just needed to give my two cents.
Scars redwoods are special to me, i grew up in the redwoods forest, our house had a giant tree trunk that we nailed wood board to for steps and could climb to sit in the sunken center like a fort. So I’ve always wanted to build redwoods in Minecraft as a kid, to mimic trails I went on growing up, but non-builder me as a kid couldn’t figure it out so all these colors and shapes scar is able to make with what we have in the game now makes me so happy. Won’t ever stop saying this in any content with scar and his redwoods for a bit now :)

Maybe everyone has a very limited amount of wind charges so you have to be smart about when to use it to keep the hermit up the longest ! It’ll also be a Risk in some way! (For the game mentioned at the end of the stream)
Actually, I think making the crafting clock's filler items recycling themselves would be pretty easy. Just give each dropper it's own different type of filler item. Then you just need an array of filters on top. No need to actually split anything evenly. And then throw every filler items at the bottom into a bubble column, that will flush all items in a water current flowing above all the filters that will send items back where they started.
Also, they aren't using Wind Charges to launch things into space. The trick is to use tons of Silverfishes with one Splash Potion of Wind Charging. When hitting an Armor Stand with a Sweeping Edge Sword, all the Silverfishes die at the same time, and each of them generate a Wind Charge effect that stack together. Be careful about over-doing it though, Some people flew up 100k+ blocks, took them something like 20 minutes to get back down.

Biiiig Plateup fan!!!!🎉🎉🎉 Advice for 2 slots setup. Left hand and right hand (offhand) for second slot could be the way to go! with the F toggle to switch the items between hands. To me interactively in the game that feels a lot like how you handle the tray! otherwise 1 slot is the way to go. you do want players to walk a lot with. Optimising your paths and appliences is kinda the whole deal about plateup... I love what you are doing with the minecart sneakroute too! Makes a lot of sense in the 3D space of minecraft. Honestly, maybe you could get rid of one of the silverfish farms and add an attic they can unlock😊 so many thoughts!!!
Don't worry about that joke too much. I am in the disability community myself and my experience is that for the most time, the only people upset or offended by disability jokes are able bodied people. Even when all the disabled people are laughing. But when in doubt, you can always ask Scar himself.
Maybe have some effects triggered to specific hermits. See Cub in line? Update your permit. See Pearl? Make sure your shop is clean. See Grian? Prepare for pranks!
Hey Tango this might be something of an idea to think about as a sort of stretch feature, but maybe if the rat infestation gets too large you could add a sort of Health Inspector stand that comes in a locks down all crafting devices on the players until the infestation reduces to an acceptable level. Perhaps this could be like the hard mode if you get the time and motivation to add it. The Poe Poe hat kinda made me think of the idea in that you could use a Poe Poe Scar/Skizz for the armor stand in.
Tango can you also make the heart item in plateup? Where you basically get a second chance if you blow it. It would be a great item for hermits to buy.

If you use iron nuggs in the cooking delay timer you could autocraft them back into blocks and at the top go from blocks to nugsto chest. that will minimize the manual maintence of the cooking delay timer and you can use a resouce that is easy to get and replentish.
i love this idea cant wait to see hermits play it!!! i do kinda think that the patience timer with the head bobbing will not be obvious enough for the hermits to see. there's so much possible with armor stands, maybe you can make them change color somehow? just my two cents ✌🏻 cant wait to see how you bring it together ❤️
My first thought for the "keep a Hermit in the air with wind charges" game was something like volleyball. Try to push them so they land on the other team's side of the court. Although it would be hard for the "ball" to remain unbiased because they would have to keep changing direction to stay above the court. Maybe a chicken would make a better volleyball, with their natural slow-falling? It would have to be splashed with regen and/or turtle master if wind charges do damage.
The whole shirt thing just gave me an idea: Would it be possible to set another Chroma key for one of your shirts' colors, and instead of making it transparent, filling in the area with something else? Would be amazing if you could fill it with an ever changing color, like a jeb sheep. :D
Tango, composters over hoppers are still preferable in 1.21 because then the hoppers dont check for minecarts inside the blocks, if you put a solid, it will be laggier than the composter also if i remember correct, the observers were there for some reason about block event scheduling where i dont remember good enough to explain

We went camping with our dog, who was a pup at the time, and dad put her in my swag with me. She tore the book to shreds overnight, and then I read something with a storyline😁. doc uses a breeze and manipulating its projectile when it gets placed, similar to what you can do with ghast projectiles or wither skulls, but before it gets fired, that way you can stack those projectiles indefinitely (though going up and down for hours likely wouldn't be too practically, going up a quarter million blocks with i think it was a minute or two of stacking projectiles should be fully sufficient.
Should have a random even where the restaurant get robbed. You drop in a bunch of Pillagers and they then only win if the beat the robbers (pillagers) with the mop and fists. like a sudden death scenario :)
If I recall correctly, you can't drive through the redwood tree anymore. I don't recall the reason, but I'm pretty sure they closed the road for cars. I could be wrong though.

If you use iron nuggs in the cooking delay timer you could autocraft them back into blocks and at the top go from blocks to nugsto chest. that will minimize the manual maintence of the cooking delay timer and you can use a resouce that is easy to get and replentish.
i love this idea cant wait to see hermits play it!!! i do kinda think that the patience timer with the head bobbing will not be obvious enough for the hermits to see. there's so much possible with armor stands, maybe you can make them change color somehow? just my two cents ✌🏻 cant wait to see how you bring it together ❤️

Another reason for lingering slowness potions would be a wet floor. You have to move slowly to prevent slips and falls. Ask Slippin' Jimmy--he knows.

My first thought for the "keep a Hermit in the air with wind charges" game was something like volleyball. Try to push them so they land on the other team's side of the court.
Although it would be hard for the "ball" to remain unbiased because they would have to keep changing direction to stay above the court. Maybe a chicken would make a better volleyball, with their natural slow-falling? It would have to be splashed with regen and/or turtle master if wind charges do damage.
what about a broken sink that the hermit needs to fix or there is water on the floor from sink?
I kinda wish I could see the chat sometimes, it would be cool to see the conversations being had.

Tango, composters over hoppers are still preferable in 1.21 because then the hoppers dont check for minecarts inside the blocks, if you put a solid, it will be laggier than the composter
also if i remember correct, the observers were there for some reason about block event scheduling where i dont remember good enough to explain

doc uses a breeze and manipulating its projectile when it gets placed, similar to what you can do with ghast projectiles or wither skulls, but before it gets fired, that way you can stack those projectiles indefinitely (though going up and down for hours likely wouldn't be too practically, going up a quarter million blocks with i think it was a minute or two of stacking projectiles should be fully sufficient.

If I recall correctly, you can't drive through the redwood tree anymore. I don't recall the reason, but I'm pretty sure they closed the road for cars. I could be wrong though.
