Becoming a civil servant is a dream for many. Lakhs of aspirants appear for the tough UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) but only a few make the cut.
So how would life change if one moved from a corporate job to becoming an IAS Officer after clearing UPSC CSE?
IAS Anu Kumari, who secured AIR 2 in UPSC CSE 2017 is a role model for many preparing for the UPSC CSE. She decided to quit her corporate job and serve the nation by clearing the UPSC CSE. She is an inspiration for all the women of our country who have decided to pursue their dreams in the field they want to flourish in.
Civil services bring job security, which is what is believed by a large number of people in our country. For another section of people, it is believed that civil services will bring them power and will elevate their social status. And finally, there's another section of people who want to clear this prestigious competitive exam to be able to serve the needy with basic amenities, and also to be able to increase the standard of living of all citizens of the country.

You can take interview of Neel Nayan mam posted in South Korea or Kanishka singh mam in Russia. It'll be really wonderful and motivating for all IFS aspirants because videos regarding life as an ias officer are plenty but regarding ifs, they're rare. Aspirants know very little about the life of a ifs officer specially as a third secretary and how they juggle between the college and embassy
