Thanks so much for being so transparent and encouraging! We have homeschooled for quite a few years also, and we have had some very tough days lately too😔😔😔 We are so blessed to homeschool, but it is the hardest thing we’ve ever done also!!!
I think this is going to be a challenging year for many moms - we are definitely in uncharted territory. All we can do is do our best and give others and ourselves grace 🙏🏾
Aww beloved I can totally understand! I have a few chronic health issues and live in chronic pain everyday for the last 10years now. Last year the kids got distance learning so we did virtual learning and this year it wasn’t an option so I had no choice but to homeschool them. My 4 year old also has chronic health issues and so it wouldn’t be safe for him either for his siblings to attend school. My 11th grader isn’t so happy but understands now my 3rd graders and 1st grader is having a harder time with being home since COVID but they know my health is important and we have to be safe but it doesn’t make it easy. They want to be with their friends and they want this pandemic to be over. At first I felt guilty but I don’t anymore cause I am doing what’s best for all of us. So I had to separate myself from the situation and not take it personal and just talk to to them. I have been having them do gratitude journaling which they love also affirmations in the morning and at night it’s been helping! It doesn’t mean they don’t get upset of have hard times but it helps them have growth mindset isn’t of fixed mindset!💯 beloved as parents we have so much to deal with in this life called parenthood but we can do it! Reset, breath and have grace! Take care of yourself too! I know it’s easier said then done but YOU GOT THIS BELOVED! 🦋
I feel this so hard. My oldest is sich an extrovert and had asked me if she could try public school this year. I said yes and she was so hyped but then covid hit and she said she doesn't want to do online school and she will just wait to go in person when covid is over.
