If thinking of 160 onlynfor mileage, then ignore. 220 is better. 40kmpl hai meri always. Chahe 50 kinspeed ho ya 100.
And 160 you will feel underpowered with two on bike. U can get fitted alloys in cruise 220 in 7k around.
I will do soon. Having powerful bike doesnt mean u have to ride in high speed. U can ride normal 60-70. It will be butter smooth.
Hello brother. Greetings from Bengal and congrats for buying Avenger.
I ride RE Thunderbird 350X ( i have changed its 'straight' handlebar and installed the 'ape' handlebar of old Thunderbird, since the latter is more suitable for longer rides and for shorter people like me. I am just 5'5"). In view of my 15 years' riding experience (of different sports bikes), i can emphatically say that the claim of easier maneuverability of straight handlebars over 'ape' or curved handlebar is just a MYTH.
Anyway, last month my wife, who is a doctor ( gynecologist), bought an Avenger Street 220. I advised her to go for Avenger and not for Thunderbird or Bullet. And i am convinced that i have not taken a wrong decision. The sole problem is the pillion seat. It's really pathetic and i am at a loss about its modification. I live in a small town named Ranaghat, about 80 km away from Kolkata and i don't know where to go...
To conclude, Avenger and Thunderbird ( since i ride both of them) belong to different schools or 'gharanas', though both are cruisers. They cannot be compared on equal terms. If Avenger is like Sreya Ghosal with all her sweetness and suppleness, then Thunderbird is like Pandit Vimsen Joshi with all his grandeur and robustness. It's useless to compare them. Let's experience and enjoy them according to our taste and inclination. Thank you. And also sorry for this looooong article.

Sir first of all congratulations for new avenger and i have also avenger 220 cruise 2016 December model and i think this is far better than Bullet on long distance as well as city condition. I was completed 850 km trip without any problem in April summers. Cons- Agree with rear seat discomfort & all friends and relatives complaint for this, But no vibrations at all on handle bar on 90 to 100 kmph speed... Best choice..👌👌
Rear sear bhi comfortable ban gayi, 700 kharxh huye modifications + cover mila k. Next video ready hai seat modifications ka.

Same thing with me I'm buying Avanger cruise 220 cc on Dhanteresh 2019, some people ask me why not purchase bullet 350 if you spend 1.28 k.(on road) But I love so much for this bike, I'm ride 450km.till now & as per teg line of avanger..feel like God... Thanks

aaj tak maine karib 40-50 bike video dekho honge, per kisi ko "like" karne ka koi khaas dil nahi kiya (jaise aap kehte hain,) per aapka video aur honest baatein sunke laga ki agar like nahi kiya to unjust hoga, is liye bhai maine toh like kar diya hai.
Rahi baat no of subscribers ki to aap apni jagah sahi ho, bas itna satisfaction hone chahiye, doosre jayen tel lene.
Agar nazariya doosron ko guide karna hai, to dost aise hi guide karte rehna, no of subscribers nahi dekhte.

Excellent video Sir, Alhumdulillah 2 yrs se apni Bajaj avenger cruise 220 touring karraha hoon from Maharashtra, Karnataka and kerala. Car tho nahin magar car se kam bhi nahin. Na jism dard na thakan. Moreover people turn their heads to look at the cruiser. Bache jama hote hain, bade bike ke sath fotos khinchwate hain as if foreign bike hai. Indian roads ke liye perfect match hai. Jaise HONDA GOLDWING Europe America ke liye suit hai, bolo kyun? _______________________JUST ROADS.

at 12:10 you are 100% correct bhai bike pe baithne ke bad bhagane ki ikcha hi nahi hoti, bas lagta hai bike chalte rahe and mai chalata rahu.

I'm confused between 220 cruise & street. I like the cruise overall except for it's *spoke* wheels (and hence tube tyres). Is there any way we can install tubeless tyres on 220 cruise?

We can easily install street rims and tyre on cruise.

Brother mere pas avenger 150 street h my top speed 120 and 125 tk le gya hu ❤️ very good bike for long ride and i am student so 150cc best for me. maintenance and milage is very good like pokect friendly bike .
My height is 5.8 inch very comfortable ride i feel and my bike 3 year old and like a new abhi bhi log mud kr dekhte h .

अवेंजर को अगर रॉयल इनफील्ड से कंपटीशन करें अगर तो नई रॉयल इनफील्ड में भी प्रॉब्लम आ रही है और उसके मैकेनिक भी स्पेशल होते हैं इसके विपरीत अवेंजर में बजाज का इंजन है जो कि काफी पुराना है और उसे आप किसी को भी दिखा सकते हैं कहीं भी सर्विस करा सकते हैं रिलायबिलिटी का कोई इशू नहीं है. बुलेट के मुकाबले अवेंजर का सर्विस कास्ट भी कम है बुलेट के मुकाबले एवेंजर का प्राइस भी कम है अवेंजर में आपको दो वेरिएंट मिलते हैं एक स्ट्रीट और दूसरा क्रूज़र वेरिएंट थंडरबर्ड से कंप्टीट कर सकता है। जो कि लगभग एक लाख 90 हजार की आती है और अवेंजर 220 लगभग एक लाख 30 हजार की आती है इसके साथ ही 80 के ऊपर जाने पर बुलेट बहुत ज्यादा वाइब्रेट करती है एवेंजर 110 तक ठीक चलती है अगर आप बुलेट के साउंड के शौकीन नहीं है तो यह गाड़ी आपके लिए है

Above 80 vibration hoti hai meri first service ho gayi h average mujhe ab 40 ya 43 ke karib mil raha h second service ke baad sayad acchi ho jayegi. Iske chain me problem hai
No problem in chain. I also did 1st service after 500km from local mechanic, not from auth service.
Ab vibration bahut kam ho gayi hai.

I am a lil late but still accept my Congratulations for the new bike. I am also new owner of the street 2019. One thing I want to ask you about the ABS response. I guess you haven't checked it yet. Abs get off in my bike after 40/50kmph speed. And then it doesnt work at all. I have tested it.

@@AutoTalks i have discover 135 and activa, so many times it happened that after puncture i was able to go to nearest puncture wala. But with discover i had no choice except pushing it. Also i am planning to buy this bike for long ride that's why i am worried about this.
Ok. U can go with street. But if u r fan of cruise looks, then need to spend more to change to alloy wheels.

I own a Royal Enfield Himalayan. I usually get 37-39KPL mileage and comfort is good. Zero pains. May I sell it and go for avenger cruise for better comfort and better mileage and less maintenance cost?
Himalayan is already a fantastic bike my dear. I think you should keep it.
But one thing I agree that Himalayan have more maintenance cost and also it demands more maintenance.

Bs6 koi aisi cheej nahi k rider ko farq pare. Ye environment k liye hai. Agar apki jarurat abhi hai to abhi lijiye. Baki sab same hoga. Sirf engine k ander ignition technique change ho जाएगी.
