Man whats that mess? Never saw in my life someone to just put too much new paste up on old thermal paste, its completely wrong! Clean up first gently then apply the correct amount ( there are alot of methods of applying thermal paste ).
Thanks for you Video it's fantastic. The problem to this device not have back cover normally to fix battery like have screwed to easy change battery or add Ram or Change HD . should be taking out the Screen and this maybe are damaged or cracked. I think this fault factory from Surface made
This video is completely worthless, no one should attempt to replace the battery by watching this. The screen is a lamination of components that if accidentally separated by your prying technique could easily ruin the screen.
Tip: Remember to clean up all the old dry thermal paste before apply the fresh thermal paste
They killed that tablet
Thx for the detailed video but 03:05 wtf.. are you serious?!?
Wow, you really spread that thermal paste like peanut butter!! LOL
Good God, it should be a crime to build electronics that aren't just held together with screws. This is absurd.
Dude. You need to clean the thermal paste off the CPU! Rubbing alcohol and a q-tip.
Also, that is a ridiculous amount of paste
